By the time Ye Yan arrived at the restaurant, Zhao Youlin had already left. He went to the table Ling Ran had told him, only to find the table was empty-seated. All that was left behind were the few dishes served.

Just then, the attendants inside the restaurant were trapped in the aftermath of the meal after Mu Tingfeng left his gold card to them. They were discussing the incident feverishly and did not even notice there was another man at the table. 

Looking at the dishes that had yet to be taken away, he thought Zhao Youlin had left temporarily due to some issue. He sat at Ling Ran's seat, and waited for her to return patiently. 

As time passed, Ye Yan grew more anxious.

Finally, Ye Yan could no longer hold back himself. He ran over to the counter and asked the attendants about the entire situation. Suddenly, a stranger's silhouette overshadowed him.
