73 The Diary

Deus would not inquire concerning why Histoire was dressed in a manner fit for the current season, and why she was outside the gates of where he specifically asked her to remain for a full two weeks. At least, not during the ride to the hotel. It was a mere five minutes away, and that was how he managed to keep up with the time Histoire had given him while in a hurry herself. He had not expected she would sneak out using one of the guest's car and under the usual guise she was accustomed to.

Neither spoke a word ever since she entered the car. It was clear to him that her main objective was to get away from the production set, but for how long, he did not know. He did know why she opted to running away, and he could not blame her. When her mind was set and fixated on something, she would not change it no matter what the foreseeable consequences were. He was aware of that more than anyone else was, apart from Jotham, that is. She was stubborn and reckless.
