62 Cold Days

The day was extremely cold. It was a cruel winter that mercilessly deprived the public of the much desired sunshine, heat of the blazing sun, and the green vegetation that brought some contrast of colors that collaborated with all the different hues of the flowers and fruits. The 1st was covered and clothed in a five inch layer of a cold, white blanket. It had taken some time, but the winter season finally decided that it was a perfect time to bear down snow on the population after dousing them in heavy rains.
