Chapter 8: I'm Using Your Man 1

Ruka Glenn clenched her teeth, putting on a dignified air and said, "Ethan is in a bad mood. Don't mind him. I'll go check on him."

As she stepped out of the door, she heard someone say behind her:

"Tsk, Young Master Herd doesn't care about her at all, and she really thinks she's something special."

Ruka bit her teeth in pain but pretended not to hear. She had originally planned to badmouth Scarlett Glenn in front of Ethan Herd, hoping he would resent Scarlett. But now, it might just backfire.

The next morning.

When John River arrived at the company and saw that Ethan's mood was terrible, he dared not talk carelessly. He tentatively asked, "Young Master, Miss Scarlett has been arrested for four or five days now. Are we... really not going to ask about it?"

Ethan Herd sneered, "What's there to ask? She's very capable on her own and doesn't need you to solicitously approach her."

John River lowered his head.

These past few days, Young Master was clearly waiting for Miss Scarlett to reach out for help.

It seemed that she wouldn't be asking anytime soon.

A week later, at Loch City International Airport.

Everyone in the Glenn Family had come because it was the day to send Scarlett Glenn overseas. They all wanted to see the source of their troubles leave and were more than happy to "send her off." They especially wanted to make sure she didn't cause any more mischief.

Ethan Herd came, and even Margaret Glenn brought her boyfriend, Jim Caldwell, with her.

The Glenn family couldn't wait for everyone to know that the disaster called Scarlett was rolling away.

Arnold Glenn spoke with a stern face, "It's almost time. Go through security. Study hard abroad and make amends for your mistakes..."

He couldn't wait for Scarlett to board the plane. The more he looked at her, the more he feared he couldn't control his urge to strangle her.

He spent an unknown amount of money to bail her out, and thinking about the money made his heart ache. He regretted ever keeping her around.

Margaret Glenn also urged, "Younger sister, you should board now."

Scarlett was dressed beautifully and captivatingly that day. Her fox-like eyes were exceptionally bright, as if she were always ready to seduce a man's soul.

Seeing her like this only fueled Margaret's jealousy.

No matter how much they tormented Scarlett as children, she was like a cactus in the desert, never dying.

As they grew up, as long as Scarlett stood beside them, she would always cast a shadow on them. In public, people's eyes always fell on her.

Margaret, Margaret, the name itself is an irony.

Scarlett had only a small suitcase with her. She lazily glanced at Margaret Glenn and said, "What's the rush? Are you worried about not being able to look after your boyfriend, Jim?"

Margaret clenched her teeth, smiling, "Scarlett, it's not that I'm trying to criticize you, but young girls should maintain their dignity and self-respect. Otherwise, no one will look up to you."

Ever since Scarlett Glenn entered the Glenn Family's door at the age of 8, Margaret never liked her. She had been bullying her for years, and all she wanted to do was crush her to death.

Scarlett raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?"

Suddenly, she reached out to touch Jim Caldwell's chest. Everyone was startled as her hand slipped into his coat.

Margaret exploded immediately, "Scarlett Glenn, what are you doing? Isn't seducing Young Master Herd enough? Now you want to seduce your brother-in-law too?"
