1 New beginning

In the middle of the night a roar strikes the night. Lyra a leopard shapeshifter was about to give birth. All the females in the tribe attended to her while all the males were outside. ( Why is it taking so long? ) said the naga. ( Easy Curtis these thing take time and she's in good hands the females are taking good care of her.) said a scorpian. ( Sorry just a little bit nervous and excited at the same time. Well this is my first hatching or cub and I'm just worried about their health as much as Lyra's health.) said Curtis. Then his brother inlaw Koda the naga said ( Don't worry you are going to be a great father. You kept her healthy all through the dry season. You'll do great Curtis and besides we'll be here to help.) Then a mandrill female came out and said ( You ready to meet your daughter chief.) Then Curtis said with shock ( A daughter ) then he rush twords Lyra and took a look at his new born daughter and his heir to his thrown. ( Hellow little one ) Curtis said with tears coming down his cheek with a smile one his face. Then Lyra let Curtis hold the baby. ( So what are you going to name her ?) said Koda. ( Well one of our choices was aurora. What do you think hun?) said lyra. As Curtis saw that she was a black leapoard with a small snake tail and add to that she was a runt but that didn't matter to him. ( Its perfect, it's just perfect. ) said Curtis. Then after her name was decided she started to open her eyes. ( Lyra! look at her eyes one blue and one red she's deffinetly going to be a fighter.) said Curtis.
