As Mavis is trying to solve the problem at hand, I find myself inside her mindscape doors leading up to nowhere and halls empty but full of misdirection, eventually, I'm drawn to a door, not quite sure what draws me there, but once again, I find myself getting inside the room.

Inside the room, the world changes, and I find myself back in Tenrou Island.

Everything is covered in a deep mist that makes me feel like I'm floating, I keep on walking aimlessly.

An alarmed caw of a bird alerts me, a bird inside this plane wants me to follow it, but why?

Taking a good look around, I survey, the image of a Tenrou Island with people starts to change to one on fire and utter chaos that clutter the memory.

'This must be the Tenrou tragedy,' I thought as I advanced.

Some of the people are falling to the ground dead in clothes soaked with blood others are burning to death a truly terrifying image.

As I advance, a thick coat of red mist covers everything.

A single ray of light sneaks its way down from out of nowhere, illuminating a small little girl on the chaos Mavis, she's around five or six years old and is running for her life.

I take a deep breath seeing her ragged clothes, and bloodied look hurts me a bit, taking the courage I need, I run after her.

As Mavis ran and Tenrou was burned to the ground, I notice something that is different from the rest. There, right in the circle of light, is another girl, Zera.

An involuntary shiver runs down my spine when she waves at me.

"What are you doing here, Fenrir?" A six-year-old Zera asked.

"I can't let you disappear so that I will save you!" I announced, puffing with furry chest up with pride.

"You can't save something that doesn't exist," Zera chuckled, with a sad look.

"See me do it!" I declared I was a God, I was the king of beasts, pride itself, I was not going to back down, I was the one that decided if she could be saved or not!

Zera smiled and started to run to a house inside the memory the house looked like it had been abandoned for at least a decade.

I sighed as I ran after her when I got to the house. Faint memories of an asshole with Zera come to me; weathered memories of a bastard torturing Mavis, a short dark beard slashed with grey, it's all I can detail of the man.

As far as I know and can deduct, this man was Zera's father.

"You still wanna save me?" Zera chuckled sadly, as she ran to an attic inside the house.

Peering around trying to find her, I climb up into the attic, taking care not to step on any of the holes on the floor it seems Mavis is breaking down.

I catch glimpses through the holes in the ground of what happening on the outside Mavis was about to use Law, the magic Zeref taught her and told her not to use it until she had mastered, because it could have awful side effects

A faint glow from the back of the room, in the direction some footprints are leading, distracts me from my musings.

Heart thumping, I carefully make my way to the back of the room where Zera was sitting on a box.

There is a faint red glow that seems to come from her but is muffled by her clothes and skin covering it.

"You made it; this is where the illusion known as Zera exists," Zera smiles with tears on her eyes.

I see no further need to delay this, I know what I have to do, I have to devour her, so that I can save her!

Taking a deep breath, I do what Zeref taught me and devour her, as soon as I did that the world around me started to shatter like a broken mirror, shaking me out of the living world.

Where the first thing I find is Zera slowly dissipating and Mavis upside down about to cast Law.

I took too long, I can't stop her, as she casted Law a dark feeling like the one that is around Zeref filled the area, I could smell death itself appearing, behind Mavis the God that cursed Zeref was looming above her and time froze.

I could move within this stooped time, but I was the only one, besides the older God.

The god notices me and teleports in front of me.

"Who are you?" The God asked, I can see his body; it's like he was made out of shadows and corruption.

"Fenrir, the Wolf God," I answered not backing down, but I could smell it, he was stronger than me, but maybe Sunshine could level the playing field, and it was day time.

It also seemed we were talking the language of the gods, he could understand me, and I could understand him even though it sounded like some sci-fi language.

"A minor god," The God cackled.

I took this opportunity to put what I extracted out of Mavis inside the book of Zera and gave her life.

"What do you want?" I asked the God.

"I came here to curse that human, but wanted to see you up close," The God nonchalantly answered, "I finished my task, the curse is not active but will as soon as she learns the value of life,"

I could see darkness surrounding Mavis, in an impulse and knowing this was the only chance I had, I jumped towards her, and I ate part of her curse before it took, I tried to eat it all, but the immortality part was already active, I was able only to eat the other half of the curse.

I didn't know how I did it, I just jumped and focus on eating it, in devouring it.

"You dare?!" The god growled.

"Save me the bravado," My tone had grown deeper and more threatening, "I won't allow you to hurt anyone I deem important, you will soon find how powerful the howl of a wolf in the sun can be!"

"Young god... you have a lot to learn," The shadow smiled at me, and soon after chains started to appeared holding me down.

"Hmph," I smiled.

"Being composes won't save you for your punishment," The god cackled.

"Being composed is a privilege of the strong," I broke the chains by merely walking towards him.

"Foolish beast, if she won't pay the price you will," The god sighed, floating above me.

Using tornado, I basically teleported above him and said, "Pardon me, it just sickens me being looked upon by someone weaker than myself."

"What a prideful beast," The god stared at me.

"Such Pride is my sin,"
