After Mavis asked Zeref to teach them magic, and that he reluctantly agreed to do so, I focused on trying to absorb the abstract construct that it was Zera, it was hard. Every time would make Mavis suffer from a headache, Zeref said that because I could see her, I would have a better shot at it than him.

The mind is like a puzzle, the smarter you are, the trickier part is to navigate it, Mavis is a genius, and her mind is like a puzzle inside a maze that is entangled in a riddle, it gives me severe migraines just trying to enter her mind looking for what she sees as Zera.

(I have taught them everything they needed to know, I'll leave the Book of Zera and the book of how to create artificial life with you, remember your part, if you find a way to end this curse or my life, come to me) Zeref smiled giving me the book that I absorb with Ocean inside of me.

(I will, thanks for your help Zeref,) I smiled at him, seeing him leave for the unknown.

If what Zeref said about me abstracting the construct out of her mind is true, then the easiest way is for me to way for her to have an emotional breakdown, when her mind it's at her weakest I would be able to absorb Zera and give her life. I would have to use the book and my mind giving her a real life.

I sighed, perhaps was best if I stayed out of Mavis way until one of the three guys break her illusion, and then I would swoop in and save her, evading being the asshole in the equation, seeing this was my best path to success I decided to avoid helping her as much as I could, I would intervene if her life was in danger, but I would avoid giving her a sense of security.

'What a complicated situation I put myself in,' I sighed.

As I walk towards the group I see Mavis standing alongside Zera three days earlier, Mavis devised a plan to free the city from the tyranny of Blue Skull, it was quite simple, Mavis would trap the master as Yuri, Precht and I dealt with the weaklings.

Yuri was reluctant to confront the Mage guild as the coward he is. Still, he was outnumbered in the beautiful system that is democracy as Precht, Warrod, Mavis, Zera all felt it was their duty to help the people of Magnolia, I voted to help too just to spite the coward.

And the plan started, with Warrod the first piece.

Warrod would attack Geoffrey. While Geoffrey is hunting in a forest near Magnolia, Warrod, the would move the trees around him frightening his horse and his subordinates, but Geoffrey himself would remain unconcerned; he's stronger than them.

In the meantime, Pretch and Yuri would focus on destroying the guild from the inside. At the same time, I did it from the outside, taking all the mages that weren't inside the guild, for me was simple, all I had to do was to chop them with my paw, and they would fall to the ground, and I was on puppy size, how weak human are, for real.

Eventually, Mavis would trap Geoffrey on a fake magnolia, and inside a trap that makes his magic useless, this, in turn, would give Precht and Yuri enough time to deal with the entire guild, for me it took me less than one minute to deal with the hundreds outside the guild but whatever.

'By this time Mavis should be done, with her stuff, now is just time for one of the three idiots to break the illusion so that I can do my job' I sighed as I rested on the corpses of the hundreds of grunts as if they were a soft pillow.

But something snaps me out of my afternoon nap, Mavis is running towards the cathedral I can smell her, she's afraid of something, really afraid, but what I don't smell anything stronger than her or the guys in the area.

Standing up on all fours I grew up to my usual size of ten feet tall and blasted at full speed towards her; I rushed through the streets in less than one second catching up with her, I didn't want her to see me in case this was the emotional breakdown she needed for me to absorb Zera.

But I didn't understand what caused her fear to arise so strong, Precht and Yuri were okay, we won.

"Where is the Jade?" Mavis asked, panting.

"Oh? no beating around the bush with you, I see" Yuri chuckled, "You were right our missions were the same until this moment, now there are no guarantees, with this magic I can take up on your wolf."

'Oh, he is so dead,' I growled as I planned how to dismember the blonde moron.

"Sorry, but I ain't about to give up this baby soon, Mavis," Yuri chuckled, holding the Jade.

Mavis then would go explaining how the Jade wasn't a treasure but a cursed item, and that it would do more hard than good, but Yuri decided to ignore her and Precht that told him to put the Jade down.

"DROP IT NOW!" Mavis cried out, and I could feel the cracks of her mind opening up, maybe this idiot would be useful for one.

"I don't belie--" Yuri was interrupted as the Jade started to glow, its smell reeked now of evil and death, not as much as the curse Zeref had on him, but enough to be noticeable.

'Well, it seems you will die by your own accord,' I inwardly chuckled.

Yuri's body turned into light and shot up to the gigantic skeleton of a dragon that was a top of the cathedral, giving it life.

As I saw the pile of bones moving and Mavis said that the Jade possessed Yuri and then the bones, I couldn't help but think this was a trap of destiny made just for me, he's now entirely made out of bones! I mean, come on!

But this was my chance to give Zera a body of her own, so with all my might, focused on entering her mind, once I secured Zera, I would destroy the pile of bones with a single blow, how dare he to think he can win against me!.
