After retreating to the forest the humans because of their weakness and me because I wanted to find Zeref, the group, in general, decided to rest in the woods.
The first few days I stayed out of their way, gathering all I could from this talented Mage, he was the best teacher I could ask for and was genuinely happy to teach me.
I went back to Mavis every now and then checked out if she was okay and would go back to Zeref to learn, he's teaching me how to give life to something the pros and cons of it.
If I were to die, all my creations would die with me, and stuff like that.
And telepathy, he was an excellent teacher I was able to understand and emit my thoughts into words thanks to him in just a few lessons.
It took me two weeks to learn it! Aren't I awesome?
Warrod decided that they should rest in the forest in the meantime; he also declared that he wants to take Yuri and Precht to a doctor but fears that Blue Skull will intercept them before they can even leave town.
Yuri and Precht have been unconscious for two weeks now, but their health is improving.
I know they won't die, but then again, I have forgetter how fragile humans can be.
After checking on, then I went back to Zeref to learn how to give life, which was like getting a doctorate in less than a month.

(Who that's a lot of information) To create life wasn't just like willing it to the existence; you had to know a lot.
(It is, it took me decades to perfect this,) Zeref replied.
(I knew for one that I didn't have decades, the moment that someone pointed out to Mavis that Zera was imaginary it was over for her.) I thought of agitation.
(I can write the book for you, I have the book on how to give life that I created a long time ago, you can study it, but like you said time is of essence isn't it?) Zeref said, it seems that I didn't filter that as a thought.
(Would the book be linked to me?) I inquired with my tail wagging.
(Yes, I would only write her, but you would have to sign the book giving part of your essence to it,) Zeref answered, chuckling at my antics.
(Let's do it!) I mentally shouted.
(Very well, how do you want her to be?) Zeref asked chuckling.
(I know how she looks can you replicate that look?) I inquired.
(Yes, how about magic?) Zeref was taking notes.
(Yes, anything that she wants to learn) I nodded.
(Well this is pretty easy compared to my other creations, is just a body and the information is within this Mavis you speak of, we need to get her and extract Zera or the self Mavis created for her, and it should be in less a week) Zeref smiled.
(But you can't get near her, so I would have to do it.... so is it hard to extract something so abstract?) I asked, feeling like a dumb mutt.
(Not really, once you master telepathy it would be easy for you, the magic you use to keep your size in check is considerably harder than this,) Zeref shrugged.
(I can't wait for Mavis to see I learned telepathy!) I chucked.
(I'll get to write the book, I'll call you once the book is complete,) Zeref informs me with a smile.
(Roger that) I nodded and went back to my group; it's been a week since I saw them.
"Maybe he will end this cursed existence of mine," Zeref mumbled sadly.

I went back to the camp to find Mavis once again, sad.
I stayed with her and helped her to gather food, but she was super down, even with my new found skill to speak, she seemed to be sad.
As the weeks go by, and she continues to be depressed, and trying to be helpful she decides to go to fetch water to clean the injuries they had from a nearby pond and reprimands herself on the way her failure to recognise the danger that Blue Skull presented.
I could practically hear her thoughts, was that a side effect of learning to use telepathy.
Her thought process is then interrupted by something that embarrassed her and aroused her?.
Confused as to why she would be aroused I run towards the pond finding Zeref haft naked.
(FBI is here!) I announced.
Zeref smiles at me and advice Mavis to stay away from him and speaking of the devil his curse activated erasing the life around him in a small radius.
Mavis immediately recognized the curse as the Curse of Ankhseram and explains the specifics of the bodily curse, leaving Zeref quite surprised.
And me, I didn't expect her to recognize it so easily.
Zeref explains that no one has ever been able to name his curse, quite surprised he praised "Impressive wide knowledge is a good thing," Mavis who blushes.
(I was about to call you) Zeref telepathically inform me, (Zera's book is ready)
(So what now?) I inquired.
(You need to extract her persona out of Mavis,) Zeref answered, (instead of sending thoughts, take one)
Mavis is just staring at us and wondering why are we sharing looks.
(You know what to do) Zeref smiled, showing me the book.
I stared at the book and nod, (I know, time to bring her back to life!)
"I don't know what is going on but..." Mavis chuckled as she focuses on Zeref, "but destiny brought us together, I want you to teach us magic to defeat an enemy we can't."
Zeref looked at me with a look that said, what kind of monster did you found because I don't think normal humans can even shake your fur and I immediately answer his unspoken question (they can't, I can totally destroyed them...)
Mavis grumbled as Zeref chucked.
