Chapter 1: rebirth

I woke up in an unknown place but I can see nothing in every direction. Thoughts racing through my head "where am I?""what is happening?""who am I?" After what felt like months or was it years I couldn't tell anymore I suddenly hear a voice "there you are child. I am so sorry it took me so long to get here. I usually never have visitors." I suddenly feel a pull in my stomach and we vanished.

The next thing I know I am sitting at a desk and in front of me is a tall man dressed all in black with shaggy untamable hair with almost glowing emerald green eyes. All the sudden I can only think about how I must look and I reach up to try and fix my hair but I feel nothing and then I hear him chuckle. "You don't need to do anything you are just a soul so you look just like everyone else I have seen in millennia" he said. Embarrassed I slightly looked down and asked "why am I here and who are you?" "You are here because you are here because you are a lost soul you died, but got lost on your way to the cycle of rebirth. As for me. I have been known bye a few names death, reaper, guide, but this version would be named Harry Potter" he said. My mind raced Harry Potter my favorite children's story about magic and silly wand waving and ugh Dumbledore. I hate him so much he hid so much from Harry and for what so he could make Harry kill himself, like what was his plan did he know Harry would come back, like WFT the prophecy said Harry had to kill Voldemort. I hear him sigh and say "yes Dumbledore seriously messed things up. Also yes I can read your mind as you would call it, but it is more like I'm reading your soul." I am stunned and say "What is going to happen to me now?" He smiles at me and says "When I said I was sorry I meant it. You had been wandering around in my void for 500 years, and as an apology you get to be reborn in an alternate universe of Harry Potter with the gamer ability." I squealed and nearly jumped? out of my seat. The gamer ability is one of the most broken abilities and I get it in Harry Potter. "Who will I be when I get reborn I asked. I asked. He smiled sadly and said "I can't directly tell you, but I recommend going to Gringotts as soon as you can. The goblins will help you get settled. You will get all your memories shortly before your 11th birthday. As your mind would not be able to handle them." I am confused do I not get to pick won't it be somebody obvious? I thought before he said "I leave you with this advice never trust Dumbledore. Good luck child you might need it."

I suddenly feel something burning it was the first thing I had felt in years. It started getting worse as I started to scream an unholy shriek that could give Molly Weasely a run for her money. He then said "that was the gamer ability binding to your soul it will be unlocked at the same time as your memories. Good bye Dorea."

A.N: I know this one was short I hope will be trying to make them longer also I hope this chapter wasn't too confusing. If you couldn't follow along the Harry Potter that our MC talks to is a version of Harry that kept the hollows and became death itself. However this version of death is so old his earth died out and he is no longer needed. That is why he said he doesn't get many visitors.
