22 Part Twenty-Two

The next morning came very fast as I heard someone banging on the door while I already did my hair and brushed my teeth and just laid on the bed. Devon was already awake so he got up from the bed and went and answered the door. When the door opened all I heard is someone scream really loud and I fell off the bed and made a huge thud. Devon ran into the room and found me on the floor. "Babe you okay" he asked and I answered "yes that scream just got me out of no where, anyways who was at the door". "I think you should take a look for yourself" he said. I stepped into the kitchen to see it was Isa, my mom and Devon's mom.

When they saw me they began to scream of joy again and I had to plug my ears. When they finally stopped Isa said "Girl hurry up. Get dress. We have to go". I looked at her with a serious face and said "are you kidding me right now" and my mom said "of course not we are serious. Now move". I turned to Devon who was about to burst out laughing and said "oh you shouldn't be laughing because you are getting your tux today and by my calculations Brendan is a early starter so he should be here in 3..2..1" and when I pointed at the door there was a knock.

I went and opened the door and I was right and it was Brendan at the door. "Hey everybody" he said. "Oh hey Brendan come on in we were just talking about you". I looked at Devon and he had a confused face. "Uh Devon are you ready to go yet because the boys are waiting" Brendan said. "What boys" I asked Brendan and we both looked at Devon who was acting like he didn't know what was going on. "You didn't tell her yet" Brendan said and I replied "tell me what". I turned to Devon and he was trying to find the words to say something. "OMG I'll tell her" he says to Devon then turns to me "I'm guessing he wanted it to be a surprise,but for his groomsmen he called up the boys from the football team of our year". I looked at him with excitement and said "are you serious" and he nodded.

I was so happy. I ran out the door and ran down the stairs and went outside. I saw David's car and there were some buff guys standing around it. To get there attention I yelled out "STEELERS!" and they heard and yelled out "18!". I did it again when they turned around and saw me. "STEELERS!" "18!" "STEELERS!" "18!" They ran towards me and gave me one big gigantic hug. When they let go of me they all looked at me and was like "damn girl". Then I heard a voice behind me that said "damn girl is right and it's my damn girl". I turned to see it was Devon, who was obviously jealous. We all began to laugh at him because we noticed it. "Come on babe. You know they were playing, but man have I missed you guys. We have to catch up soon, but not right now or else he will get more jealous" I said and we all started laughing. I turned to Devon and said "don't worry I still love you" as I patted his cheek. "Well I have to get ready for my dress fitting and I swear Isa better get me coffee" I said.

I walk back upstairs and got dressed for this interesting day. The boys left for there tux fitting and we finally left for the fitting.
