Part Twenty-Five

2 weeks later.

Thanksgiving was awesome and we had fun. Throughout the pass 2 weeks we had our first couple of football games and won them. Also I had my winter concert with the kids. It was terrific. I couldn't be more happier. And tomorrow is my wedding. Devon is at home while I'm at my mother's house. The good thing about it is that I have Isa and all of my girls are sleeping over as well. The bad thing is that I was missing Devon.

I was in my old room with Isa. We were having our own little girls night. Popcorn, movies, doing hairs, makeup just having fun. Devon on the other hand is at home hanging out with Brendan and the guys.

Everybody thought it should be time to go to sleep so we did. We all went to sleep. I ended up waking up at like 7 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So I got up and put on my shoes and went up to the roof like old times. I sat down and just looked at the sky. The beautiful stars were still kind of out as the sun rise rose. Then they disappeared. The sun was beautiful. It was about an hour and a half before it was ruined by my mom's voice. "Nikky its time to go and get ready. It's your wedding day." She yelled. "I'm coming." I replied. I got up and climbed to my window and went inside.

All the girls were up and energized. We all got dressed and drove to the house on Devon's family farm. We went to the house and went upstairs. "Okay first things first breakfast" Isa said and continued "I will grab everybody some McDonald on the way to your place to grab some stuff". "Okay" I replied. "Now let's get you in the shower and wash your hair" my mom said as she was pushing me into the bathroom.

She made me take off my clothes and literally me shoved in to the bathtub that was filled with warm water. Mom dumped a bucket of water on me and Alexis turned on the stereo she brought and put Honor To Us All from the movie Mulan. Then my sister and mom began singing the song and started to brush my hair. "Really?" I asked and they all said "yes".

After a half an hour of gromming me they took me out of the bath tub. I put on my underwear, strapless bra, and then put on my robe. I got out of the bathroom and Tiffany sat me in front of a mirror and she started doing my hair. Isa finally arrived a little bit after with the food and my dress.

As soon as I was given my food I literally scarfed it down. I was so hungry that that thing was gone in like five seconds. "Really Nikky? So dramatic" mom said. "What? I was hungry" I replied. For like a whole hour Tiffany was doing my hair and she was finally done. It took long enough. My butt was beginning to hurt. But my hair did come out looking spectacular.

It was nearly 11:30 so my mom decided it was time for the rest of them get ready. So that's what they did. It took nearly an hour and fifteen minutes to get ready. Then my mom told me to put on my dress. And that's what I did. I went into the bathroom and put on my dress and heels. I walked out of the bathroom and I looked fabulous.

My mom was on the verge of tears when she saw me. "Calm down mom" I said. "I can't my baby is growing up...if only your dad can see you now" she replied. "Oh I forgot my veil. I'll be right back" I said as I rushed to the bathroom to figure out where I put my veil.

I ended up finding it and I put it on. I got out of the bathroom and went to everybody. We waited a little bit and then there was a knock at the door. My mom answered and it was Tamia, my wedding designer, coming to tell us it's time. Well here we go. It was time to get married.
