11 First Demon Hunt: The Anomaly/Assailant’s Identity

One of the missing women were the village elder's granddaughter. She was only fifteen years old and was about to get engaged. Hearing the news that his precious granddaughter was sexually assaulted by an unknown assailant; the village elder was outraged. He assumed the culprit was someone from the village, but within seconds the old man scrapped that thought with the notion 'who would dare to manhandle the granddaughter of the village elder?'

These illicit occurrences soon were considered the act of a non-human assailant, after one of the victims' father caught a glimpse of an unknown visitor leaving his house with a person slang over their shoulder. Clearly this was an attempt at abducting yet another one of their young woman from the village. Realizing this fact, fear crept up within the old man's heart as he dashed out the house in a flash. The father followed the shadowy figure closely behind, with a hunting tool in hand that he grabbed from the side of his house.

As the assailant blissfully stroll through the village the moon light dazzling rays shined on the face of the unconscious young woman. Upon seeing that the young woman was his eldest daughter, raged consumed his heart as the veins in his neck became visual from anger. He gave up the initial plan to wait for an opening to save the young woman and charged at the figure with a fierce murderous intent.

The mysterious figure quickly dodged sensing the incoming attack. His lips stretched into a wicked smile when facing the old man.

The father swiftly regained his balance from the failed attack, before attacking again with more energy as his attacks were now at a faster pace with the intended to strike at the figure's weak points.

The assailant laughed amusedly at the old man's undying attacks, while remaining a decent grip on his prey. He would even occasionally taunt the old man, while dodging since their little skirmish were like a late night entertainment for him before he had his dinner.

Even though the father felt that he may had overexerted his body, his justly rage remained unsettled and his daughter was still in the hands in this unknown individual. He calmed his heart, so that he could focus on observing the movements of this malevolent being before him.

In a split second the old man was finally able to land a successful and deadly strike through the figure's body. The unexpected thrust caused the assailant to drop his captive on the ground before his own body met the cold ground as well. The figure's body shivered in agony silently before he slowly ceased moving.

After the fierce small battle, the father saw another assailant in the near distance leaving out another house. This assailant smiled sinisterly with cold predator-like eyes at the father before disappearing into the darkness of the forest. The father shivered as his heart raced for a second at the other assailant's expression, whom seemed more domineering than the one he just fought. Taking a deep breaths to steady his breathing and heartbeat, he gently bent down to collect his daughter in one arm. Then, he turned to grabbed at the shirt of the assailant with his other hand as he dragged the motionless figure back towards his house.

The next morning the young daughter and the assailant were both examined by the village's doctor. The daughter was unharmed, barely escaping from being the tenth victim. The assailant on the other hand was a mystery.

The devilish figure had an otherworldly appearance. His nails were long and sharped which resembled the claws of an animal more than the hands of a human. His ears were long with a pointed arch at the top of the earlobe instead of a rounded arch. If one overlook those few flaws, the mysterious figure features were that of an attractive young man in his mid-twenties. Just by viewing his soft and silky hair a person would feel a tingle sensation within the palm of their hands, making them have the urge to gently run their fingers through those slick locks of hair. His physique was welled sculpted with luscious curves and carved muscles that was visible even underneath the bloody layer of clothing he was wearing. Finally, his most enticing feature was his skin, which was a charming and alluring tone, smooth to the touch that glisten with a glow that made one unable to peel their eyes away. In conclusion his whole body emanated sexiness making anyone who laid their eyes on this body would drown in a lustful haze.

This description was what the village's doctor had meant to write in her report to the village elder, however, she felt that this description was too detailed for just an examination, so she just documented it as:

Examine Analysis Report

Patient: Name unknown

Sex: Male

Age: unknown (possibly in his mid-twenties)

This one seemed the be a slightly disfigured human with hands that resembled the claws of an animal and long ears that has a pointed arch at the top of the earlobe instead of a rounded arch. A healthy young man with a nice built and an attractive face. In conclusion the deceased is possibly a different species of human.

Inside the home of the village elder, surrounded by a few villagers, the male hunter held the doctor report within his hand. He read each word silently before speaking. "According to this description your village's doctor drafted, the person who may have also kidnapped your granddaughter is a young deformed man with dashing good looks," responded the male hunter looking at the village elder sitting opposite to him.

"Yes, it was quiet disturbing how certain part of the man's body resemble that of an animal yet also have a human form. However, we are sure that the creature is not human. The man's body bleed black substance from its death wound instead of the red blood that flows within our bodies," the elder explained releasing an unsettling sigh, while rubbing at his temples, after he recalled the dreadful creature motionless body.

"Ummm.....a person that has an appearance similar to a human, and also seemed to enjoy themselves by mating with women that they have abducted, I have only encounter one demon that might fits this description. What color was this creature's skin?" the male hunter questioned firmly, handing the report back to the village elder.

"The creature skin had a light cooper-looking tone, sir," one of the elder's aid answered promptly.

"Cooper..." he paused for a second to think. "There is a possibility that the creature was an Orc, though it's also possible that the creature we are dealing with, is a totally different demon that I never encounter before. Seeing how the deceased assailant's body has already decade passed recognition, we can only try to track down the others. You did say there were another one strolling around that night, right?" inquired the male hunter trying to collect as many clues as possible.

"Yes. There was another one that fled from a house nearby empty handed though. After I returned my daughter to her bed chambers, I dashed over to the house it had exit from. I thought something must had happened to the wife as well, since her husband open the door with eyes that were red with tears. It turned out they were tears of joy. Their daughter that went missing a week of ago, had return to her bedroom as if she never left. She had no memories of the past week and was quite confused at the emotional outbursts her family was displaying. To her she had just awakened from a long and pleasant dream," responded the heroic father.

"She must have developed temporary amnesia, just like what happened to the other victims. Clearly this creature has the ability to manipulate people's memories. I'm pretty sure that an Orc does not have this ability, at least ones that our organization has encounter," uttered the female hunter standing beside the seated male hunter.

Her voice was sweet and angelic, which surprised the villagers since they did not expect such a boyish looking girl to have such a lovely voice. Even though she had a pretty decent face it was her manly hunter attire that made them have misconceived thoughts about her mannerism as a young lady.

"Great observation my dear. I'm also having a hard time believing that Orcs are behind this type of mischief," the male hunter said lively with a grin. "Our best counterattack is to wait for another one to appear, so we can identify the creature. Identifying it will enable us to offer better protection for both villages."

"Identify? Aren't you here to eliminate the creatures, so they won't plague our village anymore? We need justice for our village women, meaning death to those who cause them harm," the village elder demanded angry as he banged his walking stick against the wooden floor.
