Maurvi's POV

" I went to an inauguration party with Gautam. His friend opened two showrooms in that famous new mall."

" Oh, so you are already meeting his friends? " She said sarcastically.

" What does that mean Prachi?"

" I mean that you are already meeting his friends means that his friends know about your relationship but you never bothered to tell me. " She said.

" Think before you speak Prachi, you are forgetting that I used to tell you about each and every single thing. It is you who did not tell me anything. Moreover, I would have told you about this if you were not avoiding me. But I guess you trust him more. You knew that I have always had this massive crush on Gautam.. why would I even think about Naman?"

" But Naman said... " she was saying but I stopped her in mid-sentence as I didn't want to know what he said.

" He lied to you and you believed him. Anyways leave that, I don't want to talk about him. " I wanted to avoid that topic.

" So how did all this happen? You must be really happy? Why did you tell Gautam ji not to tell us anything about it? "

" Because I was annoyed that I told you everything but you didn't tell me anything. " I started chopping all the veggies for Vegetable Pulav.

" Don't you think this is too much for just two of us? " She asked me and I knew she wanted you to change the topic.

" I am cooking for him as well because aunty is out of the station."

" Oh, ok... So you didn't tell me when and how it happened? "

" Well you know what I feel about him so last week he said that he likes me a lot and asked me if I would like to be his girlfriend and I couldn't resist the offer. " I replied with a smile.

" So tell me about him, what have you been doing for the last week?"

" Well we are trying to get to know each other. " then she asked me many questions like his favourites and his date of birth. I told her everything.

" Oh my God... It is his birthday day after tomorrow. What are you planning? " She asked with enthusiasm.

" I didn't even realise that his birthday was in this week only," I said

" Well now that you have realised that and it is his first birthday since you became his girlfriend, I think you should give him a big surprise. " She was behaving normally and was very enthusiastic but I couldn't tell her that I am not his real girlfriend.

" I will help you with preparation so don't worry. As you said his mom is also not here so it is very easy to surprise him," she said and I nodded hesitantly.

" Hey, so dinner is almost ready. Let's call him. "

" What?? No, let's just go and give him food. He must be busy... I was with him till 3 PM so .... "

" What nonsense? Call him. Oh wait let me call him from my number let's see how he behaves on a crank call. Does he have a landline? " I looked unsure as I myself was not sure how he would behave but she kept asking his number. Finally, I gave it to her.

She called his landline number. I knew that their instruments had some problem with its display so he would not be able to see the number and put the phone on speaker. The bell was ringing. He picked up the phone on the fifth ring.

" Hello. " his deep voice came from that side.

" Hi, handsome. How are you? "

" I am good. May I have the honour to know, with whom I am talking to? "

" How does it matter? I just called you as I really like you. "

" Ok, where did you get my number from? " he asked.

" I saw you and followed you, saw you entering your house and found your number. Simple. " She said.

" You are lying... " He said smiling.

" No, I am not, l am standing. " She said and laughed at her own joke. He laughed too.

" So would you like to come for a date with me?" She asked him.

" Well ok but can I bring someone with me? " He asked and Prachi raised her eyebrows at me.

" Who another handsome friend of yours'? "

" No, my girlfriend friend, but if you want a double date I can bring a very handsome friend of mine as well."

" Why would you bring your girlfriend on our date? "

" As otherwise your best friend and my girlfriend would get angry, Prachi."

He said and burst out laughing.

" Oh God! how did you recognise? "

" Well, I am very smart. So what are you two doing? "

" She is cooking dinner for all three of us. Why don't you just come here? It is almost ready. "

" Ok, I will be there in 5 minutes. " He said and disconnected the phone.

She looked at me and said, " He is smart and handsome. I like him. He is coming in 5 minutes."

The doorbell rang and she went to open it. I was laying the table and they both came into the dining room. He smiled at me lovingly and said,

" Good evening beautiful. " I just smiled at that.

Three of us had the food and then he asked if we would like to go for the ice cream and we agreed. We enjoyed the ice cream and then he went to his place. Prachi kept talking about him and she planned his birthday surprise. We slept very late.

My alarm rang as it was time to go to college. I prepared breakfast for three of us. I made upma and sandwiches. I got ready and rang his doorbell and he came out. I said good morning and I gave food to him.

I was turning to go when he caught my hand and said,

" Good morning, my beautiful girlfriend. What is the hurry? Hey please keep yourself free tomorrow as we will have to go somewhere. " Then he came even closer to me and bent a bit. My heart stopped for a second.

He came very near and whispered, " Your friend is looking at us very curiously. I think she is trying to judge if we are faking it. Yesterday also she tried that. So be a bit enthusiastic about meeting your boyfriend. Show your acting talent. " And with that, he hugged me lightly. Oh god, when he touched me I felt a slight shudder in my body.

" So where are we going tomorrow?" I asked him with a smile.

" Let's see but be ready, beautiful. I am just telling you in advance. Now go I don't want you to get late. Bye, take care. I will miss you beautiful."

He smiled.

" Have breakfast before you go to the hospital. Don't even think about eating only junk just because aunty is not here."

" Hey have you two finished your conversation? If yes, then let's go Maurvi, we are getting late. " I turned towards her and saw her standing there.

" Yes, sure ..." I said bye to Gautam and he winked at me. I drove towards my college.

Gautam's POV

I don't know why but I am feeling very good today. Yesterday I had lunch and dinner with her and today she came with breakfast. I wanted to hug her again as I loved doing it at Mehul's showroom. So when she came with my breakfast, I could not resist myself and hugged her lightly. I gave her the excuse that her friend was trying to judge our relationship.

She was looking so pretty. Her hair was still damp. I wanted to run my fingers through them. My heart starts behaving in a reckless manner. I need to talk to Vikram and ask if it is some kind of disorder...

I had my breakfast, it was awesome just like the one who made it. I got ready and left the house for the hospital. Where is Vikram? What is he up to? I hope he gets answers to all the questions.
