Gautam's POV

I reached the hospital and there were a few patients who had come for the scan. I attended them and went to look for Vikram. I saw him eating food in the cafeteria. I went to him.

" Hey man, where were you for the last 3 days?? I need to tell you something... What are you eating? " I took a bite of the food he was eating.

" Wow !! Awesome !! " I snatched the food from Vikram and started eating. He just rolled his eyes and let me eat.

" Umm... I really want to kiss that person who made this. Very tasty yaar... "

" What?? n-no... " Ruchika shrieked, everyone was shocked, Including me.

" What happened? Why is she behaving like this " I asked, eating the food normally.

Vikram was smiling like anything, he said with a smirk, " Because she made all this... " He was grinning like anything and looking at me...

Oh, God!! I got embarrassed a bit when he realised what I said earlier.

" Come on Gautam, do what you just said... She is right here. " I saw Vikram smirking at Ruchika...

" No !! Please... I didn't make it, Sandhya did. I was just kidding... I mean ... Just taking the credit of making such a tasty meal... " she blurted out...

Aha! Here is my chance to tease him. I smiled and said, " It's ok ... If Sandhaya made it... Then I must... Ouch...you moron... " I winced slightly as Vikram hit me on my foot with his. I was enjoying his condition, he is getting possessive about Sandhya. I just smirked at him.

" I think the lunch break is over... we should start working... " Sandhya said as she got a bit embarrassed and got up to go... But I held her hand.

" Stop beautiful... Thanks for the amazing food. Now it is my turn to treat you. I would like to invite all of you to a party tomorrow at 7 PM. At the same place where we went for Aakash's Birthday. And if you wouldn't come... I will-" I raised one of my eyebrows.

" You will what?" She asked innocently.

" I will not... cut the cake."

" So it's your birthday? Happy Birthday in advance sir. "

" Gautam"

" Hm ??? "

" My name is Gautam. Please don't call me Sir. I feel very old when referred to as sir, I am just 27. So please just Gautam would do." I was still holding her hand.

" Lunchtime is over, Gautam you wanted to talk to me, right? So leave her hand and come with me to your cabin. " Vikram was getting jealous as I was holding her hand.

I was trying to hold my laughter. If he could shoot with his glare, I would have been dead by now. Ok enough of it, after all, he is my best friend. I left her hand and raised my hands in the air as if surrendering.

Vikram glared at me ....and dragged me to my cabin.

" Just what were you doing there..? "

" What was I doing? I was just talking to the person who made that tasty food. Anyways you wanted me to kiss that person... " I was smirking now, I swear I love teasing him, he is behaving like a jealous lover.

" Hahaha very funny... And don't even think about her. Now don't try and act smart. Ok, now tell me what you wanted to tell me. " He asked me.

" Awww it seems like something is burning... But the food was awesome. I don't mind..."

" Shut up Gautam... " He was turning into an angry young man with every passing second.

" Ok, well, though she is very pretty and cooks out of this world food, I still am not at all interested in her, she is all yours. But I think I should have clicked your pictures. You looked so cute… Just like a lost puppy... Aww..."

" Just tell me what you wanted to tell me."

" Ok, so..., Tomorrow I would like you to meet someone... Someone special..."

" Who?? "

" My girlfriend, Maurvi. "

" What??? You are kidding??? right?? when did that happen?? Seriously? What is she like? How did you meet her?? "

" She is my neighbour. God, she is really very beautiful, tall, sweet, innocent, funny, bubbly, feisty... "

" Stop stop... Don't get carried away... She is so good. but it seems she is crazy... "

" Why are you saying that?? "

" If she agreed to be your girlfriend."

" Shut up ok... Why didn't you come to Mehul's showroom for its inauguration? Where were you? He was asking for you... I went there with her.... "

" I had gone home... Seriously... Did you go with her? That's great... "

" There was not a single awkward moment between us... I was so relaxed... "

" That's really a very good thing, I would love to meet her. "

" You will meet tomorrow. Did you talk to Sandhya? "

" No, I wrote everything in a sorry card... She read it and kept it in her bag...."

" You know what, you are getting over-possessive over her...... You should have seen your face when I held her hand...I think you are gone..."

" Oh shut up...I am not affected by all that... I am just feeling bad for what I did I am not falling for anything, I don't feel anything for her... I am just feeling terribly bad that I hurt an innocent child like her... "

" Are you sure..... It was just guilt... Because it doesn't look like that.... "

" You didn't see ... how she cried that day..... She said, she hates me..... She cried as if .... she was hurt deeply. She said., my words haunted her for years... I want her to forgive me... She is very sweet... "

" Yes... Very sweet indeed... " I teased him again and he glared at me and I burst out laughing....

" Look at yourself..... Even if I say something good about her... You start glaring at me..... You have gone crazy... Just like Rahul and Mehul.... "

" So who all are coming for your birthday tomorrow?" I asked him...

" Just all of us and.....Maurvi... Rahul and Mehul are on their honeymoon. Sagar is not in Delhi.. we will celebrate once they're back..."

" Can't wait for tomorrow..... " Vikram said.

" Neither can I." I said.

Maurvi's POV

It was 11:45 PM and I had already made a cake for him. I made some sandwiches and coffee. I would have done that but I didn't want to disturb him at this hour. I was still going to do it as according to Prachi, I must do it as he would be very happy and might have been expecting me to do it.

" It is a bit weird Prachi, it is very late. I don't think we must surprise him now... We will do it in the morning. "

I tried to persuade her but she was hell-bent to do it right away.

" Are you coming to his place or should we call him here? "

" I don't know... I am not comfortable with the idea. " I was not sure about it.

" Ok, I am calling him here. Be ready with your surprise. Hey, have you already kissed him?"

" What?? No "

" Then do it today. It is a perfect occasion to do it. He would love it. " She winked at me.

" Shut up Prachi. I am not going to do any such thing. "

She dialled his number. I was a bit tense.

" Hi, Gautam Ji, can you please come here if there is something wrong with Maurvi...... I can't tell on the phone please come fast...... Ok. "

" What did he say? " I was very nervous.

" He is coming... "
