7 Chapter 7

Laxmi was going on question after question without listening to any answer. Muniya's mother said:-

"Son, take a breath first. Talking is going on. Doesn't allow anyone else to speak."

Laxmi fell silent.

Here Muniya's father along with Bison reached the house of Sarpanch ji. Sarpanch ji took care of Pandit ji and made him sit with love and said,

"Say Pandit ji, how did you come?"

Introducing Bison, he said,

"This Jamai is the king. I have come to you for a job."

Hearing this, Bisan's heart started jumping. he thought to himself

"Now I can do hooliganism in my entire village and threaten anyone. I can tease anyone."

But he kept bowing his head, not allowing his happiness to be expressed. Sarpanch said,

"Pandit ji, don't hesitate to say what's the work?"

"Who… you should get Jamai Raja to be a patwari in this village today."

(*Earlier the Panch-Sarpanch of the village had the ability to get small jobs)

Hearing this, Bisan raised his head in a hurry. The pots had run out of water on his wishes, but he remained silent. Sarpanch said:-

"By the way, let me say one thing, Pandit ji. Jamai should not be kept in the house. Son-in-law…"

Even before he could say anything, Panditji refused with the gestures of his eyes. Understanding his gesture, the sarpanch fell silent and said,

"As you wish"

Bisan became a patwari in the village only after two days. He was not very happy because he could neither do vagabondism nor tease the daughter-in-law of the village, but what he could have done, if he spoke anything, he would have been trapped. He thought it better to remain silent or else he could have gone to jail on the charge of blood.

Pandit ji got the daughter-Jamai to get a rented house in the village itself. A year later, Bisan and Muniya had a son, named Akash. Everything went well for a year. The daughter was also happy, she had also had a son, her husband also does a good job.

But someone has rightly said that the dog does not give up its habit. People say that the habit of a habitual person should not go, the dog should lift its legs.

Now Bisan started teasing the daughter-in-law of the village. Complaints started coming in. Pandit ji used to suppress the matter, apologize. Seeing the gracious behavior of Pandit ji, the people of the village became silent. Seeing this, Bisan's spirits became even higher. Bisan landed on the doggiri. The matter escalated and reached the sarpanch ji. Sarpanch ji got furious, called Kotwal, sent Pandit ji to be called. Panditji understood. He bowed to Sarpanch ji as soon as he arrived. Sarpanch ji was unable to muster the courage to say anything seeing the innocent form of Pandit ji, but there was a question of respect of the village. He told the whole thing to Panditji and asked his Jamai Raja to explain.

At the same time, Pandit ji walked towards Bisan's house after getting furious.

When he reached home, he saw that Bisan was shamelessly lying on the cot and snoring. Pandit ji called Bisan while giving his voice. Bisan sat up, he had unbuttoned the buttons of his shirt. She shamelessly told her father-in-law,

"Hey dad, how did you come all of a sudden?"
