50 Chapter 50: How willing you are

"Are you bargaining with me, walker?" He asked, rising from his throne languidly, the threat in his voice apparent. 

Eve stiffened at the challenge, her nerves immediately shutting down every other sense as she stared into his gleaming golden eyes that screamed danger. Goddammit Eve! Get a hold of yourself! You've faced far worse! She screamed in her head, trying to gather what was left of her courage. 

"I-If t-that's how you take it." She stuttered, trying hard to keep herself from looking away.

Suddenly, the king burst out laughing. Everything else was a blur. She felt the sensation of being pulled towards a taut warm surface, the sensation after which could only be compared to being dragged across the sky with a falling star, the movement making her dizzy with every passing second.
