Chapter 2
Hadugar watched as the boy's body disappeared in a flash of light. He knew his goddess long enough to understand:
This wicked smile meant nothing good; Not at all.
"May I ask you, my goddess, what he did to displease you?"
"Have you seen his expression!? Not a sprinkle of respect or gratitude! As if I HAD to fulfill his wishes. It serves him just right!"
Hadugar sighed deeply.
"And how did you twist his, honestly very predictable and naive, wishes this time? What will this man have to put up with?"
"Hi hi! Oh no; I gave him exactly what he asked for!" She said with a mischievous smile on her face.
"He asked me for strength, and who is the strongest being in the world I sent him to?"
While Hadugar thought: 'Well, that might be a disputed fact...' But he was sane enough to say: "Of cause that is you, my goddess!"
"And so I gave him the starter class that is closest to the goddess of life. The Druid!"
She tried to look as innocent as she could.
"Well, it could've hit him worse... What's next?"
"Hi hi! *Him*. Hi hi."
Hadugar lifted his eyebrows.
The goddess continued:
"He wanted an attractive body? And who is the most gorgeous being in existence?"
Again, while he didn't fully agree, he chose to accept:
"My goddess!"
"You flatter me! But yes, I gave *him* a body looking much alike to mine... Of course, I added some imperfections, but, by mortal standards, any princess would die of envy! I hope SHE is happy with *her* new body."
Asuvis broke out in an almost demonic laugher, and Hadugar joined her.
"And let me guess," Hadugar chuckled, "as a kind and dutiful goddess as you are, you fulfilled *her* last wish to the fullest extent."
"Oh, you bet I did! I gave her a very, VERY *fun* trait that will alter her Luck, fate, and future development interestingly, but in exactly the way she wanted."
The both of them start laughing again, one voice loud and melodic, one dull and coarse.

With a soft crack and bright flash, a body appeared a few feet above the ground. First, it hovered in place for a few moments, just fall to the ground with a soft thud.
A few minutes passed.
"Uhh! This is a peculiar feeling." he exhaled with a sore throat.
He opened his eyes. He saw bright green grass, some bushes, and a forest in the background. Looking around: He was on some clearing, like from some fairy tale, surrounded by trees. The trees stood far enough apart, so he could see a significant distance into the forest.
Trying to stand up, he lost his balance and almost fell nose-first into the grass.
'This body feels weird. The weight distribution feels way off.'
Before he could investigate further in that direction, he noticed something else. In the bottom right corner of his vision, there was a blinking yellow-white symbol. He tried to focus on it, and it worked! Before his eyes unfolded a semi-transparent panel.

[In front of you, you see the Magical System of Regulation and Enhancement, but most just call me System! Since you come from a world where I do not exist, let me give you a run-down.]

For a few seconds, Daniel was just standing there, not knowing what to do.
'This reminds me an awful lot of those novels I used to read. But I guess this will make it much easier to become strong in a world like this... Let's try this: STATUS!'

"WHAT!?!" Daniel yelled in disbelief and startled at the sound of his own voice. His soft, silvery voice. He looked down and noticed something else. He could not see his own legs! It's not like he didn't have them; It's just that there was something obfuscating the view. These *somethings* were two very sizeable and firm, even by the look of them, tits! Dreading what he would, or rather would not, find there, Daniel dropped on his butt and pulled up his skirt. Underneath, he saw some very cute-looking, grass-colored panties. 'Wolves!' he thought in a panic.
The next thing he knew was him clinging to a horizontal branch of a large tree. Later, he couldn't explain how he got up there so fast, but this was his last worry right now. Just below the tree that gave him shelter was a pack of 4 wolves, looking at him with a clear culinary interest in their eyes.
'And what now?'
The way he was currently sitting on the tree, or rather lying on his stomach and hugging the branch, was definitely not the safest and not the most comfortable way of spending time. Carefully he crawled back along the branch toward the trunk. There was a small depression in the wood, where he could sit, straddling the branch he was on and not worrying about falling down as soon as he relaxed a bit.
The wolves observed closely as he changed his position. As soon as Dan sat down, his bare feet dangling down from the branch on either side, one of the wolves tried to jump for them.
"Iiik!" he shrieked in a panic and pulled his feet as far up as he could. But this was excessive, as the wolf didn't even make it halfway up.
And this was the new situation: he was sitting in the tree and couldn't go back down, and the wolves couldn't get him up there. Now it was just a matter of patience. Or more likely of hunger. Who would yield first, Dan or the Wolves?
After some time, Dan remembered what he was doing before noticing that Asuvis took something very important from him...
