"I know right? And the author has promised to release a few side stories right after his next popular book is completed." Zach said.

He began to explain a few other novels he had read recently, causing the nurse to laugh a lot.

However, right after Zach's story came to an end, she suddenly asked him a question. "How would you feel if you ever got the chance to be transmigrated into a fantasy world?"

Hearing her question, Zach's answer was pretty obvious. He always imagined himself in a fantasy world whenever he was reading his novels.

So, being reincarnated into a nice fantasy world would be like a dream come true for him.

"It would be nice, I guess," He replied with a shrug. After all, reincarnating into another world was nothing but fiction and something like that could never happen.

"Alright, I've made up my mind," She said as she suddenly stood up from her seat.

"I believe that such a world will be happy to have someone with positive energy like you." She added.

"Such a world?" Zach asked, puzzled by her use of that phrase.

"I can't explain it right now. We are running out of time and the timing of your death has to be synchronized with that of your new body," She said, confusing Zach even more than she already had.

Without waiting to hear another word from him, the nurse leaned closer to him and planted a kiss on his forehead.

The moment she did, Zach heard a voice in his head.

'You wanted to know my name right? But the truth is, you already know my name,' The nurse removed her lips from his forehead and Zach suddenly felt sleepy.

He slowly reclined on the bed and struggled to focus on what the nurse said earlier.

The only name he could recall was when she called herself The Goddess of Happiness, but Zach never took her seriously.

He heard her voice in his head once again.

'I can't wait to hear more of the wonderful stories you will have to share. I want you to use this chance to live freely, create your own story, find new hobbies, fall in love, live healthy, fight, hate, make mistakes, but most importantly, learn from them.'

'I think I'm beginning to have feelings for you, so it doesn't matter how long we are apart from each other, I will wait for the day we meet each other again. Don't worry, I will leave behind a present so you won't forget about me.'

Zach looked at her one more time and she waved at him as he slowly lost consciousness.

'Could she really be a goddess?' Zach thought to himself before his eyes completely closed shut.

In a separate world, completely different from the one Zach knew as Earth, the street of Silverdale buzzed with activity as the sun set and the sounds of flying cars roared across the street.

It was just another bustling evening in Silverdale, a city in the Eastern continent of this world.

Amidst this lively scene stood a mansion, not too far away.

Inside a room in the mansion, Zach was asleep in his bedroom when a system notification rang in his head.

Hearing the foreign female voice in his head, Zach woke up with a throbbing headache. He felt disoriented and was bewildered to find himself in a lavish yet unfamiliar bedroom.

"Silverdale?" Zach repeated. He recalled hearing a similar name in a book he had read recently.

[Yes, it's the name of a city in the story you recently read and narrated to the Goddess.]

"No way," Zach's eyes widened in disbelief as his memories merged successfully, allowing him to recall what happened at the hospital before he became unconscious.

"I can't believe she sent me into a fantasy world," Zach chuckled softly as he scanned his new room.

He also couldn't believe the nurse was actually a Goddess.

"I guess you are the present she made mention of in the hospital."

[That is correct and I'm here to help you in the best way I can.]

"Thanks."

Zach was pleased with the system's words. He turned around to take a look at his room once again to familiarize himself with it, but as he did so, he was simply awed by his room and how big it was.

"This is amazing," Zach was amazed by the neat and luxurious room that now belonged to him. With this, he was certain that he was currently in a mansion and that would make him a noble.

"Who exactly am I?" Zach muttered to himself but the system took it as a question.

[Your name is Zach Darkmoor.]

"Zach Darkmoor?" Zach repeated with his eyes wide in shock.

"Me?"

"That would mean that I am a minor villain who later became a major villain after the demise of my sisters."

[That is correct.]

"Woah," Zach said, reclining back on his bed and facing the ceiling. Aside from having a similar name to the villain, Zach wondered why the goddess would allow him to transmigrate into one of the most hated characters in the novel and not someone else.

"I don't even know if I should be happy or sad right now," Zach muttered as he recalled what happened to Zach Darkmoor in the novel titled 'The Fated Hero'.

In the novel, Zach Darkmoor was branded a villain in a modern fantasy world where the most sought-after job was being a hero. Zach was feared by many due to the immense strength he possessed and his ability to use forbidden magic.

Hundreds of those heroes met their demise with just a flick of his hand.
