6 "My confused heart!"

(Luna's POV) :-

~It's been 7 days since I have seen Alex for the last time...

My life has been quite peaceful since I haven't met him but somehow, my heart doesn't seem to be relaxed. It's true that I never wanted to see him nor I wanted to know him, but there were many questions which I wanted to ask him. I wanted to ask him how he has lived his life till now. As I knew Ji-Hoo was the one who had lived an extremely struggling & stressful life, he always wanted to be rich & own his dream palace. If Alex is really the reincarnation of Ji-Hoo, I just wanted to know did he achieve happiness in this life!

But our fate won't let us gain everything in life! If we achieve everything we want, then it's not fate! It's a dream....

All this internal conflicts puzzled my mind. My mood was terribly upset! I understood though my heart despise him & never want to get involve with him..but the remaining part of my heart wanted to see him from a far distance. The face which I didn't get to see from 50years! I just wanted to observe him a little bit more!

I was having coffee on my chamber at my cafe place with my mind full of confusion & conflicts. Even the coffee tasted terrible just like my mood..

"Jun! Jun!", I called my staff in a grumpy voice.

She almost came running-

"Ye-yes Ma'am!"

"What's wrong with this coffee? It tastes terrible! Are you serving this kind of coffee to our guests?"

She was nervous, "No- No Ma'am, I don't know why, but the most experienced staff made your special coffee Ma'am!"

"Special? You call this a special coffee? How ridiculous!", I got very agitated. "Are you all planning to close my business? And if the experienced staff is so worthless then what for I am paying you all? You are just getting money for nothing?"

"Sor- Sorry Ma'am, I will go and get you a new one Ma'am!! Please forgive us!", she was trembling.

"Forget it!! Call my driver & ask him to bring the car! I am leaving now!"

"Yes Ma'am!" she bowed her head & left.

"Ahhh! I think I have been too harsh on her! I just took out my frustration on her!! Darn it!" I told myself. Well it was not her fault the coffee tasted worst, I shouldn't have scolded her that much! Somehow I was feeling guilty.

"All this is happening because of that Alex Choi! If he had never shown up, my life hadn't been so stressful." I mumbled and started walking away towards my parking area.

"Ma'am where do you want to go?", my driver asked me.

"Drive me home! And turn on some good music! I need to cool off my head!", I ordered him quite harshly.

He turned on the radio & a beautiful song was playing in it-

~"Now the day bleeds

Into nightfall

And you're not here

To get me through it all..

I let my guard down

And then you pulled the rug

I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved...."

Unknowingly tears came in my eyes, somehow I was reminded of the smile of Ha-Eun when she used to see Ji-Hoo, how badly she wanted to be his side....But she was the one who had no one by her side on her death bed.

"Change it!" I said quite loudly. My driver flinched.

"Pardon Ma'am?"

"I said change the song! it's terrible. Put off the music! I want peace!"

My driver did as he was said to do...

However with this confused heart, it was quite impossible to attain peace...

I understood, the ice armour I had been building around myself to protect my heart from pain was suddenly shaken up with the arrival of Alex in my life...

Alex was sitting by the window side of his cabinet in the official building of Choi Industries. He was looking outside the window with a blank gaze of emptiness in his eyes.

"It's been 7 days Luna! I wish I could see you now."

"Sir?"

Alex turned back, it was his personal secretary Mr. Shin.

"Yes Mr. Shin!"

"Sir I brought all the informations you wanted to look for!"

"Good job Mr. Shin!" He smirked.

Mr. Shin was happy instantly with the praise. "Ahh Sir the car number plate you wanted me to look for belongs to the heiress of Kim Merchandise. That's her personal car."

Alex was still looking outside the window, "Did you track the car's location today?"

"Yes Sir! The car was standing outside Cafe Memoir Palace upto 3 pm then it left".

"Where did it go?"

"Sir it went to the Kim Mansion directly after this".

Alex turned back & slowly walked towards his chair, "Good! Now track the location of the car everyday & bring all the relevant informations about it. No mistake will be tolerated," he told quite boldly.

Mr. Shin was standing there with a curious face.

"Sir, may I ask why are you tracing the location of that car? That's quite illegal Sir!! In other words that's called stalking. And stalking someone is a crime in our country Sir!"

Alex looked at him with dreadful eyes.

"She is not just someone Mr. Shin! She is a very important person for me!"

Mr. Shin was silent with his head facing down.

"Mr. Shin you will be paid for tracking the car's information. If you want to ask personal questions, I have many other people who will do this job keeping their mouth shut!! If you don't like this job you can quit! I have hundreds of options!"

Mr. Shin was quite terrified with this warning, "So-sorry Sir, I won't ask anything further. Please excuse me!", he left the cabinet in a fast pace.

Alex took out his phone from his pocket and unlocked it. The wallpaper was an image of Luna smiling! "If you hadn't forbidden me to meet you then I didn't have to track your location Luna. But no worries,

You will face me soon!" He was smiling with a mysterious look on his face...
