8 "Confrontation"

Luna's POV:

~ "Don't be scared of the events that are meant to be happen Miss Kim. We can't control our destiny. It's beyond our power!", Dr. John said me with a small smile.

I was sitting there hopelessly. My mind was numb.

"So- so you are telling me, th-that I need to face him boldly this time? I need to be brave? I can't be weak?", I asked him in a curious tone.

"Yes Miss Kim, I know your heart is still injured from scars of your last life, but think this as a second oppurtunity to confront that person this time boldly. You need to brace yourself, the only one that can save yourself is You!", he said.

"Bu-but what about my nightmares? Why did they came back to my life after meeting him? I almost stopped getting those nightmares from last 1 year, but it started again! Why I am facing all this again?"

Dr. John looked at me with utmost care. "Miss Kim, our subconscious mind is always responsible for the dreams & nightmares we face. You are getting these nightmares again because after meeting that person you are always thinking about him and connecting the incomplete ending of Ha-Eun with that person! Your heart seems to be in wrath that how can he come back to you again after the last tragical ending! That yearning of your heart & the wrath which is shaking your inner soul, is responsible for disturbing your sleep with the thoughts of your past-life- which is already a trauma for you! Your heart don't want to accept the reality & wants to run away from fate! That's why it's so difficult for you to sleep with these internal conflicts--"

"Miss Kim? You are getting nightmares?"- A voice came from behind.

It's a familiar voice. I flinched and turned back & it was again..him! The person who is shaking up my life!

Alex Choi!

I was extremely shocked to see him. What the fuck? I came here to get some mental counselling & he came here too!

"Ohh! Alex? What brings you here so suddenly?", Dr. John stood up from his chair & went towards him.

"Nothing Uncle! I just wanted to see you.."

"Uncle?", I was extremely shocked.

"Ahh yes Miss Kim! He is my nephew! He is the heir of Choi Industries, Alex Choi...But why are you here so suddenly? You didn't even inform me Alex? And do you know Miss Kim?", Dr. John gently asked him.

"Ofcourse. I know her so well!", Alex replied with a smirk.

I was feeling dizzy. My heart was pounding so fast. Why do I keep confronting with him again and again at unexpected places?

Although I was curious about him & my heart wanted to see him from apart but I just hate this kind of encounters! I just hate to see him like this suddenly! It-- it makes my heart more restless! I hate this kind of feelings! I just hate it!!

My face darkened, I was extremely agitated. Dr. John saw my expression and hurriedly went to him, "Alex! I am in the mid of a counselling now! You shouldn't have interrupted our session! If it's something urgent go & wait in the waiting room. After completion I will come to you."

"That's fine Uncle! I just came to see you! That's fine, you complete your session. I will leave you two alone.

See you Miss Kim!", he smiled & left.

I didn't react anything. My head was aching badly.

"Sorry Miss Kim! My nephew suddenly interrupted us! Do you know each other?", he asked me.

"Ye-yes! Kind of!" I replied confusedly.

"It's not a good idea to tell him that this Alex Choi is the one who is turning my planned life upside down! Why does he have to be his uncle. What the fuck! I can't ask help from him in this case!", I was worried.

"Ahh okay. I am prescribing you some medications for your sleep. It will keep your brain calm & will help you to sleep without nightmares. But you can't solely depend on medicines! Please give a thought whatever I said you!", he said.

"Yes", I replied.

Dr. John looked at my gloomy face for sometime. "Miss Kim?"

"Yes!"

"Maybe we all are reincarnated in our lives, but don't you find it strange?"

I looked at him curiously.

"Miss Kim not everyone is born with the memories of their past life. But somehow it happened to you. And the most interesting fact is the person who made you feel pathetic in your last life confronted you this time too. That's all connected to your fate!

Because your fate wants to give you a second chance to fulfill all the unfinished business you have with that guy. So don't worry & don't panic too much! I hope you nothing will torture you in this life!", he comforted me politely.

I nodded my head.

During the counselling somehow my heart was in ease but after seeing him again I was puzzled. Why do I always meet him in unexpected situations? And why did he come here suddenly? Even doctor said he didn't inform him prior coming!! So is it possible that bychance--

he came here for me!!

With all these conflicting thoughts I was walking towards my car in front of the hospital.

"We meet again Miss Kim", a familiar voice called me from behind. It was Alex!

I turned back & looked straightly at Alex.

"Why didn't you left Mr. Choi? What are you doing here near my car?

"Um to be honest I was waiting here for you!", he replied with a gentle smile.

"And why?" I asked quite hastily.

"How to describe it! I- I wanted to see you Miss Kim! I was quite worried about you. But as you have forbidden me to visit you so I came here to meet you!", he said me politely.

Suddenly I flinched. What did he just say?

"Hey wait!

How did you know I would come here?", I was surprised with his statement.

Alex smiled mysteriously, "What do you think Miss Kim?"....
