"That was amazing"

They both confessed concurrently and cackled a bit gazing at each other's smile with their eyes gleaming, showing the satisfaction they both experienced seconds ago.

Taehyung leaned down a bit and gave a small peck on her lips before plopping beside her.

They both were a huffing mess, too depleted to even move.

Taehyung stared at the ceiling for a while, as he zoned out for a minute or two which felt like a century to Jin-Ae, she was ogling him from the nook of her eye.

In no time, he felt her eyes on him, dragged himself closer to her and wrapped an arm around her body pulling her in his embrace.

Jin- Ae closed her eyes and determined to stay like that for a while.

Taehyung lovingly stroked her hair with his long gentle fingers and rumbled "winter bear".

Jin-Ae was enjoying the serenity, the beautiful vibe when he suddenly halted, making her narrow her brows and looking up to him.

"What happened? I was enjoying it," Jin-Ae mumbled giving a whiny pout in the end.

"I want to converse about something," he said looking everywhere else but not her.

Jin-Ae got a little tense with uncertainty battering in her heart, soon so many questions started to heave her into the dark hole of anxiousness.

Jin-Ae got up lending him a nod, amid she tried to put her clothes back on.

Suddenly, Taehyung felt guilty, for wrecking the perfect moment, he felt the concern ripening inside him, but he didn't mean to interrupt her happy moment that she was feeling after so long.

Taehyung's hand went up to scratch his head, nervousness dipping from his honey brown eyes, stared at the cold coffee as he couldn't look into her eyes.

He saw her grinning after an eternity and talking about something that could ruin the mood, he quickly changed his mind.

"Ahh, can we go shower? and then sleep together like watching Netflix if you want to, it's not that late. Ahh-h and-d if you're not tired I know you came from a long flight also it must be tiring running around doing chores and looking after the kids. And then, obviously the emotional rollercoaster you had at the beach soo- "

Jin-Ae hopped on the bed, held both of his hands in hers, and smooched him, a passionate kiss.

His eyes popped out in surprise, cheeks glinting pink, ears warm, he was getting shy.

Jin-Ae backed off and giggled a bit at his pure reaction.

"At least you're not talking now" she snickered a bit meanwhile, he looked down at his state and started covering up in a tiny way, touching his soft prominent cupid edges.

He got dressed up and began tidying up the mess the two of them made while making love.

Jin-Ae kept gaping at him standing like a mannequin in the centre of the room whilst he kept peeking at her from the corner of his eye and then going back to settling down the silk sheets.

She silently cackled at his baby attitude and then, hastily wowed at his duality. The giggly Taehyung and the bossy, hot and enchanting Taehyung are indeed his two different personalities.

Jin-Ae came out of her fantasies when Taehyung flopped down beside her, wherein she quickly left to check on the kids, after motioning Taehyung about it.

She came back getting more exhausted as the room was far from Taehyung's.

Jin-Ae entered the room, fingers crossed.

He was looking up for some series.

She aimlessly guessed it as he was going through the recommended list on Netflix. Taehyung chuckled but then.

An uneasy and uncomfortable tension started to build up between the two, that's what she crossed her fingers for.

Maybe because it was their first time or maybe Taehyung wanted to talk about something that he illustrated earlier but couldn't let it out.

Jin-Ae decided to make it less awkward by responding to what he asked.

"Yes, let's shower and then, let's sleep. Let's leave the Netflix and chill for some other night. I'm not going anywhere."

Jin-Ae said pinching his cute nose as her eyes dwindled due to cuteness.

Taehyung sat there snickering like a baby with showing his gummy smile.

"And Umm- you were talking a lot a while ago but you were saying a lot something, you couldn't let out, with your eyes. Talk to me about what it is? What's on your mind?"

Jin-Ae moved closer to him cupping his face with her hands.

"It's nothing serious, It was our first time, I wanted to know if you liked it."

He murmured all of this in one breath.

"If I didn't enjoy it, why did I said it was amazing? dummy!" Jin-Ae knocked at his head teasing him.

"Ahhh-yeah! Also, we said it together. Isn't that a soul mate thing?!" Taehyung implored with a small pout pinching her in tiny.

She couldn't help but pull his rosy defined cheeks for his tiny side. Jin-Ae missed this.

It's been five and a half years that they both were together.

She was always the one who was energetic, affectionate, and a little too much clingy, while Taehyung was quite timid and reserved, he didn't talk much but his actions always spoke for him than his words.

But then, the tables turned, Jin-Ae eventually changed after giving birth to the kids but that little Jin-Ae always resided inside her, just prisoned to not be fragile anymore.

Being in a long-distance relationship, he got used to opening up to her but he was not the same giggly Taehyung he used to be when she was in the hospital.

Time changes everything, the way we perceive the world, and how we function towards it except our tiny sides that always prefer mesmerizing realms with fairy sagas and trickery sticks.

Jin-Ae was pregnant, alone, and baffled consequently, often led the two to get into disagreements, to which they both agreed to open up and be themselves on facetime even though it's tough.

The two of them didn't get enough time to interact with each other or have date nights neither the time to enjoy each other company nor the fun. It was so overwhelmingly difficult.

She still remembered how it was quite stoic and nonchalant the first time she met him on the accident night.

Then, the two were generally opposite of each other, but they were destined to fell in love and help grow each other into better human beings. Jin-Ae loved nothing more than the fact that how he has a soft and tiny side only for her.

Yeah, the insecurities, the anxious thoughts which kept slamming her like waves at random moments made her feel frightened about the promises, but the promise ring swivelled it into steady ripples.

It was the promise ring that kept her going either it was the time her water broke and she kept panicking while he was trying his best to calm her down on video call or when she was losing her confidence, thinking she'll fail the test, he boosted her up and helped her find her inner child, her sparkle, her worth and her ability.

After having a warm, fine shower and being dressed in Taehyung's sweatpants and t-shirt.

He awwed at her little, small figure in his clothes and winked walking to her.

Jin-Ae shyly chuckled and looked down.

He kneeled a bit, comprehending what he was going to do.

He draped her arms around his neck, straightened her legs as she soon felt her weight being taken away as she was whipped into Taehyung's arms.

Jin-Ae's heart thumped.

He carried her to the bed and got snuggled up with her.

He lifted her on top of him in a way that she could still enjoy the view, the view of Kim Taehyung whereas, he could have his one hand on her hair and the other on her back to massage it.

"I'll try to make your tensed muscles calm down"

Jin-Ae hummed in return smiling at his lovely caring gesture.

Shortly, Jin-Ae dozes off to sleep while appreciating his aroma in her.

Taehyung noticed her somnolent state, then quietly adjusted himself on the bed. Before he went into a deep slander, he came closer to her and whispered,

"I love you Jin-Ae. You mean the world to me. I'll always try my best to do the nicest things for you, to make you happy. What matters now is your happiness, only yours. I don't know if you're ever gonna accept me but I'd love to be a father of our kids someday. I'll wait.

I promise I'll wait."

He said those words to her in a relatively small voice and tightened her closer, kissed her forehead, and finally went to sleep.

Little did we know, Jin-Ae was attentive and heard everything Taehyung said.
