13 Playful Robbers

Five years later,

Every individual hopped onto something new.

Seoul was not the same anymore. New gossips, never heeded music bands, new chanting crowds, baffled yet energetic teens, unemployed heartbroken wanderers, new crime, iPhones and fashion.

However, there was still something that didn't alter at all.

A heart that truly loved Jin-Ae striving his best to endure in the same world that's always tormented with sad sensibilities and resentments.

An Aeroplane landed, rerouting the paths of two destined souls.

Everyone was occupied, trying to make it to their kind of destination.

Air crates landing and taking off at their velocities whilst announcements were made for the passengers.

At Incheon International airport, wearing a Burberry long trench coat Jin-Ae hauled the stroller packed with the boxes and bags, above merrily sat a little girl in a white top and a grey designed skirt with loose black hair to her shoulder, bunches on the head, pretty and cute.

Beside her, there stands a boy wearing a white shirt and designed coat that corresponded with the girl, with grey pants, black sneakers, a cute face and big puppy eyes which heeded her calmly.

"Mummy, can we constrain Tae to come with us on rides?"

"As long as he is not busy and is willing to come with us" Jin-Ae grinned at her then, looked at her son and continued walking towards the departure.

As she got out of the airport, her little munchkins looked around with delicate and curious puppy eyes. She glared at him and could tell that they were hungry.

By happy chance, there was a restaurant nearby so she decided to stop there first. By the first taxi, she took the kids there encouraging them to adapt to the hustle and bustle of Seoul.

While Jin-Ae paid to the guy, the kids ran into the restaurant with bright crimson faces as rats started jabbing into the walls.

Hastily, she placed an order, got some coffee, and some kimchi bacon cake.

Thankfully, they never displeased her when it comes to food.

After a while, she was relieved as both of them calm down as soon as their tummies attained the desire.

The two of them got busy discovering Seoul around them and giving peculiar looks, to what they never encountered in New York. Jin-Ae took advantage and captured a picture to sent it to Taehyung, letting him know that they were here.

Ding!

Taehyung reached out for his phone and ceased tapping his feet on the ground.

"What? They're already here?", he shrieked in astonishment.

Taehyung hurriedly clasped onto his car and fled. Jaws plunged, wide-open eyes, small gossips started to commence, when he came back with his manners, dismissed the meeting, excused himself and ran again.

Fascinated, impatient, happy, and thrilled, he drove as fast as he could to reach them. He drove past every car, carefully.

After a few minutes, he arrived.

Taehyung took some big breaths and then, phoned Jin-Ae to come out.

It's been five years since he last saw Jin-Ae in person.

Red cheeks, puffy twinkling eyes with a constant smile, he saw them paddling towards his car.

The kids nervously crawled onto the backseat whilst Jin-Ae adjusted herself on the passenger seat.

"How are you already here?" Jin-Ae implored dwindling her brows a bit.

"Ahh- I was nearby here soo" He looked everywhere but not Jin-Ae.

He didn't want Jin-Ae to chide him, at least not in front of the kids.

First impressions are crucial, you can't let them go like that.

His heart thudded loudly as he let out a big sigh and decided to head to the destination.

She could tell how nervous and spirited he was to see Jin-Ae and the children.

He held her hand, tightening and loosening the grip depending on his anxious self, all the way home meantime, he kept chattering with her babies.

They kept interrogating Taehyung with, "What is it?", "Can we go to the rides?", "Where does this go?"

This was their first time exploring Korea so how can they not be surprised. Taehyung answered their every question so calmly making Jin-Ae stunned as he just ratified the patience test.

His eyeballs kept wiggling and she knew that he was nervous so she tightened her grip and gave him a "we-got-it" look.

Of course, How a mother can not see the subtlest change in emotions.

Taehyung contended her to stay at his house until her apartment gets clean and the people who lived there as for on rent, moves.

The adorable juniors helped Taehyung compel Jin-Ae to say a "Yes."

"Okay okay, it's a yes!

But only if you two accept to what I'll order."

"Order?", says the one with puppy eye. Jae Joon.

"Yes! My lord", Min-ah giggled as she revealed her teeth smile.

Jin-Ae and Taehyung chuckled at her cuteness.

"Okay so, no running on the stairs and no one will mess around or fight with one another."

"I'm okay with it, what about you Jaee Joon" The 5-year-olds that sound like teens nodded together with desperate eyes for a yes from their mommy.

"Great then, It's a yes!"

The playful twinnies romped on their seat meanwhile Taehyung aimlessly hummed a melody out of nowhere.

Maybe he's on cloud nine again, after five years.

"Wowww! Wa! Your house is so big. My garden is smaller than the front gate" both of them said together to which Jin-Ae and Taehyung started laughing recklessly.

After getting off the car, they both ran to Taehyung.

Jin-Ae was a little surprised as to how they were already so connected to him.

Jumping up and down showing big puppy eyes, they asked Taehyung to show them the whole house.

"Tae, we are very clever." Jae Joon told Taehyung with a raised eyebrow and naughty smirk on his face.

Taehyung hissed funnily and held their hands.

Min-ah immediately nodded and said, "Yes! we didn't make any noise or created any trouble for mummy."

Jin-Ae laughed while patting their heads and said, "Let's see how long things stay like that."

They both gazed at each other and got onto their non-stop talking mechanism without any warning.

Taehyung peeked at Jin-Ae with a chaotic wide smile.

She nodded assuring him to spend time with them and that, she'll manage it all.

In the evening,

"Really? Who asked you to go to the roof alone and get locked? You should have asked me or Taehyung. Fortunately, the workers heard you and they had the keys."

Jin-Ae kind-of scolded her but maintained her polite tone.

Taehyung looked tensed and Jae Joon was worried too.

She hugged Jin-Ae tightly.

Jin-Ae's heart melted at how scared she was.

"Otherwise, you would have flown away, and then, I had to run around the city to catch you." Min-ah looked at her mom and then, started laughing as her glossy eyes began to subside into a happy one.

Jin-Ae and Taehyung took a sigh of relief.

Jae Joon soon noticed that Min-ah was flustered so he quickly changed the topic and veered around to Taehyung.

"We want rides, rides, rides." Min-ah joined him in leaping up and down clutching onto Taehyung's hand letting their enthusiastic self come out.

Jin-Ae was happy about how they accepted Taehyung and the new city so rapidly.

"You both are small robbers, as soon as you both got here you want rides and a big meal? Fortunately, I have enough money so let's go!", Joonie and Min-ah clapped and wailed with happiness.

On the way to the amusement park, Taehyung kept taking small glances at Jin-Ae as if he wants to ask something.

Once they all reached there, Taehyung bought the closest worker with him so they can take care of the children and nothing unusual can happen to any one of them like earlier in the evening.

Joonie and Min-ah were relishing themselves, on the other hand, Taehyung and Jin-Ae, both took a seat gazing at the children from afar.

Few minutes have passed, Jin-Ae could sense the oddness in the air, that there is something Taehyung wants to tell her.

She turned to him and inquired," So what is it Taehyung? What is going on inside your head?"

Taehyung looked into her eyes for a while and mumbled, "It's been five years now, you're finally willing to come back and get settled here? What do you think about us now?.."
