1 A beautiful lady arrives at Fashion X.

...… sounds of police sirens come from afar.distant chatering on the streets of Texas and the cries of a wailing woman approach.

"Where is my daughter?please find my daughter for me.The woman breaks down in front of the helpless police man."look madam,i won't lie to you i really do not understand how your daughter disappeared.I must admit that it is like a mystery.Your daughter is not in the country" The police man gives a deep sigh." I am so sorry ma'am i wish i could help you in some way.The police department will continue with its investigation but i don't guarantee you good results'' The police man drove off while the woman is left hurt.Her eyes were already red from crying too much.She looked really worn out.

"Aunt...….. i know where your daughter is" a young man said to the woman moving closely beside her almost like whispering into her ears."she disappeared into a video game" The woman stared closely at the young man's face in horror, shock and disbelief...….

       March 31st, 2021....

Alicia Jones is a young lady in her 20's who graduated from the university of Texas at Austin.Her father died at a young age so her mother support and cares for her.Bethany,a friend of Alicia's was able to get her a job at a fashion company and the interview has been fixed for today.Alicia is still sleeping and snoring out loudly.

"Alicia!Alicia! Do I really have to wake you up every single day? Mrs. Jones shouted from the breakfast table." When are you going for the interview?"Alicia opens her eyes a little to the reflection of the ray of sunlight.She looks at the mini clock that is placed on the bedside table and hurriedly sits up on the bed."8am?" She rubs her eyes with her hands and looks at the mini clock again."I am really not sleep walking,oh no i am going to be late for the interview." She hurriedly gets up from the bed and goes to the bathroom.Mrs.Jones comes to check up on Alicia and finds out that she has woken up."Thank goodness,or else i might have to wake you up by pouring a refreshing bucket of water on your head." Mrs. Jones said.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier mom,you know i have an interview this morning" Alicia said from the bathroom." Instead of blaming me i think you should hurry up and come downstairs for breakfast" Mrs.Jones goes downstairs to eat while Alicia comes out of the bathroom after taking a bath with a towel wrapped around her body.She frantically search her wardrobe,flinging her clothes around the room and looking confused.She looks at the wall clock.It was 8:15 am."What should i wear now?It is a fashion company so I should wear something fashionable.Or...…. Maybe a suite since it is an interview? Oh no,I don't know what to wear. She sits down on the bed looking down. And suddenly a surge of excitement erupts in her like a small child who has just been given an ice cream."Now i know what to do." She smirked.Alicia has selected a blue short gown to wear for the interview.She looks at herself in the mirror."Wow! I really rock in this outfit.A fashionable girl for a fashion company" She looks at the wall clock again and it was 8:30.She runs down the stairs but her heels trip her making her fall down."Oh no,I hope wearing this heel isn't a bad idea.Mom." She looks around the living room but could not see her."Where on earth did she go to?" She goes to the dining table and sees a note her mother left her. "Hey Alice best of luck in your interview,i just need to quickly go to the grocery store.Take care" Alice drops the note on the table and takes three bite of the toast in the plate then hurriedly leaves the house.

Alicia bangs her hand on her forehead "I forgot the direction to the fashion company that Bethany told me" She takes her phone to call Bethany but the call goes on voice mail." What should i do now.I remember vaguely what the direction is.I am really not quite sure but i will take the risk." Alicia takes a taxi but she begins to give strange directions to the driver.

"I am really sorry but I don't remember where I am going.All I remember is that I am going to a fashion company for an interview".Alicia said, looking worried and constantly staring at her wrist watch." Dont worry maam i know of a fashion company that is taking interviews today." The driver assured her.

Minutes later the driver arrives at the Fashion X company." We are here maam"The driver said.

"Okay,thanks so much" She pays him and gets out of the car staring at her watch again but this time looking sad.``9:00am.I am late to the interview already." She gives a deep sigh and enters the company.The company was well organized and looked like one of the biggest fashion companies in Austin.Alicia looked confident and believed in herself.She walked toward the receptionist to inquire about the interview.

"You are here just in the nick of time miss,you are the next person to go in now.Please go to the conference room for your interview.The receptionist said staring at Alicia from head to toe.It was not that something was wrong with her dress,it is just that she looked ravishingly beautiful and attractive.Her innocent and cute little face glowed like the moon at night.

"Thank you" Alicia goes to the conference room with her credentials.She is faced by a set of five people.Two women sat at both ends of the table,a middle aged man sat beside the woman who was sitting at the right end of the table,a young and handsome man sat beside the woman sitting at the left end of the table and another young and handsome man sat at the middle.But there was something different about him.He looked cold and ready to scold at anytime but he was very handsome.Alicia guessed that he must be the CEO of the company.She comes inside and sits on the chair placed in front of the table.She looked confident on the outside but she is actually nervous on the inside.

"Have you really come for an interview or to party?" The sweet voice of the CEO echoes in the room.Alicia was lost in her own fantasy world." How could a guy have such a sweet voice?" She thought.

"Excuse me miss?Are you listening?" He said, staring at Alicia. His stare created fireworks in Alicia's stomach. Her heart began to beat faster and she started sweating.

"Um… Yes of course.I have come here for the interview sir." She strugle to give a reply.

"Why do you think this company needs to hire you?The CEO asked looking directly into Alicia's eye putting Alicia in a very difficult position.She could not look into his eyes.His eyes were too cute."well...I am a very hardworking person.And I believe that once you have confidence and faith in yourself there is nothing difficult to achieve.I am a really simple and loyal person.I believe that loyalty is an attribute that every employee must possess.

"Wow,isn't this amazing?I really love all that you have listed about yourself. I believe you won't disappoint us." The other young man stood up smiling and applauding for Alicia. "He seems to be quite cheerful, '' Alicia thought.

"Go home and start your work tomorrow as our CEO's new secretary." The other young man said.Alicia looks surprised." Excuse me sir but I thought I would be part of the finishing department" Alicia said.

" Please leave now,I don't think you are qualified enough for this job." The CEO said sharply but the other young man spoke in favour of Alicia.

It seems as though the two women are just sitting for the sake of appearance but the young man and the CEO seem quite close.``Alicia looks on as the young man convinces the CEO to employ her." Come on Edwin you know you are in dire need of a secretary for now.Just let her work here,she seems smart" The young man praises Alicia. He is praising me without even knowing who i am.He must have a good sense of Judgement.Looks like Edwin is the name of the CEO but what is his surname? I dont care,his name suits him.A cute name for a handsome guy" Alicia thought to herself smiling brightly,catching Edwin's attention.

" What are you smiling for?" Edwin said rather coldly."You are hired under probation" He added and left the conference.The young man was quick to introduce himself.

" Hi young lady,my name is Damien Taylor, a shareholder in the company,you can call me Damien.He smiled and stretched forth his hand for a handshake.I stood up to shake hands with him."Alicia Jones' ' I muttered.

"This is Mr.Smith,also a shareholder in the company,He points to the middle aged man.

"This is Miss Jasmine and Miss Claudia from the finishing department." I look forward to seeing you in the company tomorrow." Damien said with a smile and left the conference room." Yesssss!" Alicia jumps up in excitement and hurriedly goes to her house to share the good news to her mom.

"I promise you Edwin,you wont regret employing Miss Alicia.First she is beautiful,secondly she is smart….she is a beauty with a brain." Damien said already daydreaming about Alicia. " Why do you trust someone that you barely know so much?She is just here to gain attention and nothing more.I will make you see that.Just wait and see,she won't be able to work here for a weak" Edwin said sternly sticking to his impression that Alicia just wants to attract attention and doesn't want to work.

"Just so you know,it isn't a crime  to be beautiful.Do you even have a heart at all? How can you see a beautiful damsel like her and still not be impressed? If i were you,I would not even bother taking an interview,i would employ her right away." He criticizes Edwin.

"That is why I am different from you"Edwin says and leaves his office while Damien also follows.

Alicia hugs her mother from behind and gives her a kiss on the cheek."Judging from your reaction it seems the interview went well" Mrs.Jones said. " Yes,of course mom.It went well. Now I will start work tomorrow as the secretary of a handsome CEO.''Alicia jumps around the house in excitement.

"How could you do this Alicia? I got the job for you with so much difficulty and you messed it up! Bethany angrily enters Alicia's house.''Sorry for barging into your house aunt but what Alicia did is so unfair" Mrs.Jones looks on confused.

" What are you saying? Alicia said the interview went well."

"This is all the work of fate,I was fated to meet my prince charming today" Alicia continues to smile." Do you know what?When i was leaving for the interview this morning,I forgot the direction to the fashion company that Bethany told me to come for the interview.I tried calling her but the call went into voicemail instead so i took a taxi and told the driver that i was going for an interview in a fashion company.He drove me to Fashion X company and miraculously,I was told to go inside the conference room for an interview where i got employed as the secretary.``Alicia happily goes to her room while Bethany and Mrs.Jones looked at each other in surprise and gave a deep sigh.

At the Fashion X company,Edwin and Damien are about to leave the company when the receptionist seeks Edwin's attention.

"Sir,I am sorry sir,the last lady that you interviewed,is not on the list of people that have been scheduled to be interviewed today.The last person on the list that was supposed to be interviewed arrived late so i mistook her.I am really sorry sir.

"Do you know how foolish you sound right now?Is this how you do your work?What if you invited a terrorist in the company?Edwin shouts at her and looks at Damien."You see...the so called Alicia you were praising so much is an Alien.Just pray she doesn't have an hidden intention.We don't even know if she is actually an imposter!" Edwin angrily leaves the company.

" Don't worry,everything will be fine" Damien assured the receptionist and leaves as well.
