Reunion

A car stop by a Kong's Meadows Hotel. It is a luxurious hotel, it is known for its beauty and the food. A young woman steps out of the car wearing a red dress, her makeup was light and her lipsticks were red in color. The dress covers her shoulders almost fully and flows down into a simple Queen Anne neckline. It is a loose fit which gives the dress a relaxed, yet graceful look. The dress is simple, yet elegant. She is wearing kitten heals. By her side is a young girl who is her best friend.

Lillian enters inside the hotel. All eyes were on her. It was her first time attending her school reunion, she never likes attending for fear of seeing someone she doesn't want to see. Her best friend forced her into attending the school reunion.

" Look, all eyes are on you, " said Shirley who is her best friend. She has been her best friend since high school and into college. When Lillian was in her hardest time, Shirley was there for her, always encouraging her. Lillian was happy she had a friend like her.

" Let's sit down, " Lillian was a little bit scared that she might see him. Her heart was beating fast. She was so uncomfortable. Shirley could see Lillian's reaction. She holds her hand.

" Hello everyone,"

" Wow, Lillian you are so beautiful, " said Shane who is one of her school mates in high school. He is in love with Lillian but he lost her to him. He still regrets giving her to him knowing his background.

" Thank you, " Lillian said elegantly

" Is this everybody?" said Shirley who was looking around.

" Oh, Austin is coming but he will be a little bit late, " said Ida. Ida has always been in love with Austin. Everyone knows that. When they were dating, she always gives Lillian a hard time.

A door opens, all eyes were at the door. Lillian got scared to look at the door. She does not want to see him. She quickly stands up.

" Em.....I am going to the bathroom, " As Lillian was turned around to go to the bathroom, she bumped into him.

" No way is this Austin? I am doom, " she thought " Just pretend to not see him and move on....How can I do that? I am sure he is looking at me so as everybody,"

" What are you doing?" Lillian could hear his voice for the first time after three years. Lillian was a little bit happy that she could hear his voice. Lillian looked up and saw him for the first time after three years. He was as elegant as before. He wears a standard shirt and buttoned it up fully to support the elegant tie he is wearing. On top of the shirt was a chic best with 3 buttons.

" Austin, you are here,"

" Hope I did not stay long,"

" No, you do not, " the girl blushed

He walked past Lillian and he sat down. Lillian quickly went to the bathroom. She looked at the mirror.

" Why are you angry? Him ignoring you is the best punishment for you, "

Lillian could not get angry at him because she knows why he is doing this. Lillian could not forget what happened that year. No matter how much she tries to forget it, she finds herself remembering it. Lillian comes out of the bathroom and she saw the others discussing and laughing. She breathes down and went to her sit.

" You took a long time,"

" I don't think I took a long time,"

Lillian cuts her beef meat and she eats it.

" Austin, I heard about your engagement, congratulation,"

" Thank you, " Austin smile.

" He is getting engaged? I did not know anything about it. I am sure his mother must have found someone suitable for him, " she thought

Lillian drink her glass of wine in one single gulp
