4 Hardships

Just as Xingya was about to rest, her brother rushed in to her room. Haotian was the 2nd son of her adoptive parents and he was the only one who cared about her. She was two years older than Haotian so he called her 'Jie' [1].

7 years ago, when her adoptive parents found out that she was not her biological daughter, they neglected her. They would give her 1 meal instead of 3 meals per day and withdraw her from going to school. They also sent her overseas so it will not be a 'waste' of their resources. 5 years later, she returned back to Country V when she was 24. During the years when she was overseas, she went through hardships and struggled in grad from University X, a well-known university in that country. She remembered she took all her savings to pay for her school fees and she took on a few part-time jobs to support herself. When she returned, Xingya was still a girl with huge ambitions so she joined the modelling industry. Another factor of her decision was to support her boyfriend, Lan He. His company needed new artists so she joined his company. One reason why Lan He's company got to where it is to today was also due to her efforts. When she started out, she was only 24 years old but she had great acting skills not to mention her appearance. She had a good-looking face and body shape was magnificent so she got popular after being in a famous film. With one successful film, more directors started looking for her to play characters in their film.

"Jie why are you in a daze? Have you recovered, how about I bring you to your house?" Ever since her parents sent her overseas and she came back, she never returned home so her rented a 2- room apartment and of course, her parents is not aware that she has returned. When she was away, Haotian opened a small company and the company was doing now till now. He is planning to expand the company once he get enough capital. "Alright, send me home then" a broad infectious smile spread across her face. Both of them then headed to the car.
