3 CHAPTER THREE - MARIANA

South America is a very big continent filled so many countries of which one of then is Peru. Peru is one of the well known countries in South American which was also called Latin America.
Lima is one of the states in Peru and El Salvador is one of the cities in Lima.
In the streets of El Salvador, Lima lived a 24 years old beautiful Young lady called Mariana Flores. She was the Eldest child of The Flores family born of Consuelo and Julio Flores. She had a younger brother, Marco Flores who was in the university.
Mariana was from a poor home and as such they couldn't afford much. Her mother was a house Wife and Her father was working in a Ranch as hay collector. Collecting hays and other feeds for the horses Because their family was poor, Mariana couldn't afford to go to the university rather She made the sacrifice for Her brother to go instead, She decided to engage in making and selling Chapel veils near their Local Church. Every afternoon, She would bring lunch for Her father at the Ranch.
Her Father Julio worked for the Gonzalez family. The Gonzalez family were merchants had lots of business empires including the
Ranch were Mariana's Father worked. The Gonzalez family had one child whose name is Juan-Diego Gonzalez.
Juan-Diego was a 27years old Young Man who happened to be a spoilt brat. Arrogant, wicked and selfish. The only thing He was expert at was His father's business and as such His Father did everything just so He could carry on the family's business. He was always fond of getting whatever He. He abused the maids who worked at their homes and talks to the Male workers anyhow He wants without respect.
"Hey old Man, Will You quickly supply hays to this Horse I need it for a ride" Juan-Diego said Pointing at a Black horse.
"Yes Sir" Mariana's Father Answered.
Mariana's Father quickly hurried and fed the horse and prepared it for riding. When Juan-Diego climbed onto the horse' back the girth loosened and He fell to the floor. He arose in anger and went closer to Mariana's Father who was busy working in the horse stead and pushed Him to the floor.
"Hey Julio, why didn't You get this horse ready properly"
"Am so sorry sir I actually thought that did it well" Mariana's father explained Himself while getting up slowly
"You thought?" Juan-Diego said and slapped Him then pushed Him to the floor again
By then from a distance, Mariana saw how the boss assaulted Her Father and ran to the scene in anger
"Hey Mr Juan" She said pushing Him and Juan-Diego turned to Her
"Excuse Me, who is this Rag" He said mocking Mariana and the other Employees laughed along with Him
"I have had enough of You, is this how You assault Your employees, just because We are poor. That doesn't mean that We will take any of Your ruthless behaviours. Yes, I maybe a rag but at least I have a heart and Conscience. Unlike You, who have sold His heart to the devil and have no Conscience" Mariana snapped at Juan-diego who interrupted Her saying
"Watch it, Young Lady, Don't make Me lose My patience"
"huh!!! Your patience? Do You have a heart Mr Gonzalez? I think not. You are a devil incarnate" Mariana shouted at Juan
Juan pushed Her to the floor and said
"The next time You touch Me, I will make You pay dearly with Your life"
"You can't do anything!!!!" Mariana cried.
"That's enough Mariana" Her Father shouted.
"Old man,take this thing You call a daughter out of My Territory" Juan-diego ordered Julio.
"Papa lets go" She said helping Her Father to stand up.
"Get out of Here, You and Your useless father" Juan-diego said ordering them out.
"and old Man" He said to Mariana's father who turned in response to Him and Juan-diego said
"You are fired"
"What!!!, Pls, am so sorry sir pls have mercy, don't mind My daughter, I will discipline Her" Julio begged
"Well, You should have disciplined Her along time ago"
"Lets go papa, I will get more jobs to do and support You and Mother" Mariana promised Her Father.
Mariana And Her father both left the ranch looking sad with Mariana filled with anger for Juan-Diego.
"Aghhhhhhh!!!!, who does that Girl think She is, no one has ever challenged Me in that manner before. That Girl sure has some nerves" Juan-Diego said angrily hitting His hand on the belt of the horse. Then He said angrily.
"I will show Her the stuff I am made of"
