4 CHAPTER FOUR - PAROMITA

It was the second semester at Holy Cross University and the session is already coming to an end. Students were so excited at the long vacation holidays but the most excited set of student were the final year students. They were so happy as the final examination was the end of their university school life. They were going on to another phase of their life.
In a student's life, each level of Her education is a new life to Her as She is one step closer to the real world. The business world. The marriage world.
Paromita was so excited as the last pen will soon be dropped and She would be a university graduate with a degree in Business administration. For Her it was a dream come true as after Her schooling the next phase was the Married life.
"Am so excited that tomorrow will be the last day of Our stay here on the university, We would become graduates" Paromita said so happily as She sipped Her bottle of Coca-cola in the cafeteria.
"Am so happy, I don't have to face Dr Shankar or Dr Chaturvedi and their lousy troubles" Vidya Added
"Is like You are forgetting that Crazy Dr Vaz" Sanjay added.
"My happiness is that I don't get to go to library for midnight readings anymore" Margaux added taking a sigh of relief
"I just can't wait for the last Paper" Added Vidya.
"Hey, guys whats Your plan after school?" Paromita asked with a inquisitive smile.
"Well as for Me, Mother and Father have already made My match and so the boy's parents will be coming to My house to meet with Our Local Priest to set an Auspicious date for My Engagement" Vidya explained with a smile.
"Wooooooooooow....Wedding bells are ringing" Margaux and Sanjay chorused happily and then Margaux continued
"Paro, see, Your mate are getting married one by one and here You are sipping juice" Margaux teased Paromita
"Am better than You na, at least Am not like You that no boy even want to agree for a match with hahaahahaha.....And why will any Man want to marry You? You are a case" Paromita teased Margaux
"Huhhhh.....wait till I get You" Margaux threw the torn wraps of the Melbourne cookies She was eating on Paromita who was laughing hardly along with Sanjay and Vidya
"As for Me I plan to invest in a business. I want to start making designer's shoes and sell them online"
"See, how creative little Children are and Madam Paro does not even have a vision for Her life" They all laughed at Margaux's Joke
"So, Paro, tell Us about Arjun. Whats the plan You have with Him" Margaux asked inquisitively teasing Paromita
"Yes tell Us" Vidya and Sanjay chorused
"Welllll....At the moment Arjun is on a business trip to Dubai and will be coming back on first week of October, so by then, We will see what happens" Paromita explained with a smile.
"hmmmmmmm" Margaux, Sanjay and Vidya chorused.
"What" Paromita said looking surprised at Her friends and they all burst into laughter.

When Paromita got home, by then Her mother had gone to the store and Her Father had gone to work. She took a cold bath jumped into a loosely pink Kurti and laid on Her bed to rest Her aching back.
"Ohhhhh God" She said taking a deep breath and was about to fall asleep when Her phone started ringing She picked up Her phone to see who was calling
"Wooooow My baby is calling" She said Pressing the Answer Button on Her I-phone 6 mobile phone.
"My love" A male voice said sweetly
"My baby I miss You so much" Paromita answered Her boyfriend
"I miss You more Love, How is Maa, Baba and Sarojini" Arjun asked
"They are all fine. Sarojini didi is already pregnant" Paromita said happily.
"Wooooow...that good news...very soon You will be like Her" Arjun teased Paromita
"whatttt...." Paromita exclaimed laughing then She continued
"Sweetheart We are not even married yet and You are already talking about pregnancy
"Well, when I come back We will discuss about Us" Arjun assured Her.
"Ok baby I Can't wait to see You" Paromita said happily
"Me too Love" Arjun said sweetly
"Tomorrow is My final paper, tomorrow I will be a graduate tomorrow" Paromita said happily
"wooooooow am so happy for You My love" Arjun exclaimed happily then He continued
"We have to celebrate when I come back from Dubai. What should I buy for You? Sarees? Jewelries? Kurti? Name it, I will buy the whole world for You"
"My Love!!!!" Paromita called out Arjun happily and then continued.
"I want nothing. All I want is just to be with You"
"I want the same too My love" Arjun confessed.
Arjun Deshmukh is a 26years Handsome young Man. A native of Pune, Maharashtra and the Only son of Tejashwini and Ragav Deshmukh, He has two sisters Vandita Deshmukh Nagpure and Shalini deshmukh. Arjun is already a University Graduate of Computer Science. After His Father had retired He took over His father's Company which deals in making High quality Sweets and confectioneries. Arjun's intentions towards Paromita was true as He loved Her immensely and desired to make Her His bride but not everyone in Arjun's family loves Paromita.

It was the next day being the day of the final paper and as the clock ticked the hour expected for the Final year students to drop the pen and submit their papers, The supervisor asked them the stop writing. As soon as the students had stopped writing and submitted their papers they are all burst for joy shouting
"wooooooooooow....Four years and Countin' "
It was a beautiful and joyful moment for Paromita as She has become a graduate all She had to wait for is the official Graduation ceremony. The thought of putting on the graduation gown, going up to the podium to collect Her certificate was so overwhelming and joyful to Her but most of it all, She was going into the real world. The world of Marriage. The world of Expectations. A world filled with uncertainties.
Could She bare it all?
Does She have the strength to walk though this open world of ups and downs?
