CHAPTER 1: I'm Alive?
"I'm Alive .....?"
Dan opened his eyes only to find himself in an unfamiliar room which looks like a futuristic hospital ward.
The last thing he remembered was staring deeply into the eyes of his best friend and girlfriend who conspired against him and killed him so they could have his share of his company
"Urgh"
An excruciating pain assaulted him as multiple memories began to flood his mind
After a few minutes which felt like years, Dan opened his eyes and began to sort his memories
*Sob*
Dan began to cry as memories of his past 495 lives started playing before him, he had inherited the memories of his past 495 lives and in each of them, he was killed by people he trusted with his life.
'Sigh...'
After taking a deep breath to calm his raging emotions, he suddenly felt the world spinning as he lost consciousness.
Dan opened his eyes once again, but this time something was different, his eyes were cold and full of resolve. He had just inherited one last memory, the memory of the body he possessed.

He grew up in an orphanage without knowledge of who his parents were, a day came when he was adopted by a grey-haired man called Carl who looked energetic for his old age, Dan was adopted alongside 14 other orphans, and things began to look up for him as he found a family to love and provide for him, On his sixteenth birthday which also marks 10 years that Carl had adopted them, they decided to make the occasion memorable by throwing a party, their 3 months of preparation was rewarded as the party was a success, after the party, it was decided that they would watch a movie before sleeping, at least that's what they all thought would happen.
The movie was suddenly interrupted as a strange video began to play, it showed nude pictures and videos of the female orphans being sold to someone online, and the video also showed private details of the family members being auctioned off.
A bone-chilling silence descended in the room, as they all were still in shock trying to process what they have just seen

The silence was broken as a blonde-haired boy began walking towards the front.
"These videos were provided by me." Harry said as he smirked "About a month ago I noticed some strange activities on my phone and then I started researching and noticed someone was stealing my information, I spoke with Celina a friend of mine who is into cyber-security to help me trace the source"
Harry turned to meet everyone's eyes one after the other, he then continued "it turned out someone was selling our information, someone in this house. Celina and I traced the source of this, and it led to one person, someone who is also in this room"
As soon as he said that a Unity Corp Squad (UCS) rushed into the room and apprehended Dan who was caught in confusion.
A beautiful girl with pink hair walked into the room and stood in front of everyone
"Hey guys, the name's Celina" she winked
"Harry requested my help concerning the case of information theft, we investigated and found the culprit to be Dan" she gave a beautiful smile to everyone and then continued "A simple proof of this is the fact that the information being sold doesn't contain his own, the IP address of the seller was also tracked to an Alienware Bionic 15 PC which belongs to Dan and finally Dan is the only one who possesses enough computer skill to steal this kind of information for 6 months straight without being caught"
Everyone turned to Dan who still had a look of confusion on his face
Carl stood up and began walking toward Dan
"Dad, I Swear I ----"
"Shut UP!"
"Leave this to me" he grumbled to the UCS captain.
He then pulled Dan into his room and slammed the door
*BANG*
"Arghh"
"Dad It wasn't me I ----"
*BANG*
*BANG*
A Symphony of painful cries and loud crashes soon filled the air, after the symphony which lasted for 6 hours, Carl left the room with blood on his hands and clothes
"Call the ambulance" he growled before stepping out of the house.

Someone set me up, this was Dan's thought after sorting the last memory, he would never do such a thing, especially to one family that cared for him. The only thing bugging him was why Carl was enraged about the information leakage.
'Humans only care about you when they have a use for you, once you're no longer useful they abandon you, they only care about themselves and would do anything to make sure they get what they want, emotions are just fickle tools used to facilitate this, In all my past lives I've trusted people blindly and have reaped the consequences, family doesn't exist, so does love.....' Dan thoughts ended as he came to a conclusion, his eyes lost their light and became cold, and his heart grew colder.
==== 5 Years' Time Skip ====
TV: " it has been confirmed that the Third Annual STARK Young Scientist Awards (SYSA) will be held in Washington DC in the second quarter of the year, it has also been confirmed that the mode of operation will be different this time as the SYSA will be hosted together with the Oceanic Innovators awards, President of Oceanic groups Mr. Luke Wayne spoke to the press ---"
"Kelvin shut down the TV," said a white-haired young man with an athletic body and gray lifeless eyes
[Powering Off....] Answered an AI in a monotone voice
[Is there anything else you'll like me to do Master Damien?]
"What's my schedule for today"

"Alright, ready the shuttle for take-off"

Unknown: " Sir we came to a discovery that you used to be called Dan before changing your name to Damien, is there a reason for that Sir?"
Damien made his way to his office through a crowd of reporters, It's been 5 years since the transmigrated to this world, he had used the knowledge of his previous lives in technologically advanced worlds to start a company, which became the next technological giant, everything seems to be going well once again, nothing could probably go wrong right?
He opened the door of his office only to find a red-haired lady sitting on his chair, she was felicity, the daughter of General Ross and the first person to invest in his ideas
"You're late" Felicity began as she turned her chair to face him
"I wasn't expecting you"
"Oh, I see" she smiled evilly "I now have to book an appointment to see you, is that it?"
"You know that wasn't what I meant" Damien replied coldly "Why are you hear"
"Oh, straight to the point as always," She signed "I want to redeem the last favor you owe me"
"..."
Damien walked towards his chair and then stood in front of felicity
"Stand up," He said yanking the chair from her butt
"Damn you, Damien, don't you have respect?" she cursed as she stood up from the floor
"I don't" he replied curtly
"What do you want?" he added
"I meet a girl who's into cyber-penetration and security, I figured it would be nice to have her work for me since I couldn't get you to do so" looking into his eyes she added, "She said she'll work for me if I heed her request of meeting you face to face"
"Hmm..., And?"
"Her name is Cassie, and she says she knows you" she uttered, "She said you were both adopted from the same orphanage"
"You never told me you were an orphan," she said with a pained expression "In fact, I know nothing about your past"
*Silence*
"Sigh…" Breaking the silence he added, "When is it?"
