6 Chapter 6

"We can't give up Saviour."

Makoto watched as everything including the greater grail began to ascend into the hanging gardens of babylon. Makoto's breathing was hitched as this reminded him of his final battle against Nyx.

All the personas eventually reached him and calmed him down. Most of the servants were found in the garden as they gathered. Makoto watched as Karna began to fight Vlad, He had no reason to fight as Karna was winning and Karna didn't do reckless things.

Makoto widened his eyes as he saw Darnic take over Vlad. Ruler was about to ask Makoto for help but he was faster. A pull of the trigger took only a split second.

"Persona!"

"Kaguya! Shining Arrows!"

Vlad who was now a vampire cringed at the arrows as four of them hit him on the chest. He howled in pain as he ran towards the throne room. "By my command seal all servants are to take out the now vampire that used to be Vlad." All servants ran into the throne room only to see Vlad gone and Shirou Kotomine with dust on his hands.

Ruler's shock was evident on her face as she whispered "No way." Kotomine smiled "Yes hello Ruler of this war."

Chiron recognised Kotomine's energy "A servant? A sixteenth servant?" Kotomine smiled "That's not right Chiron. She's the sixteenth. I'm the first."

Jeanne revealed for all to know "You're the ruler of the Third Holy Grail War in Fuyuki."

"Ruler class: Amakusa Shirou Tokisada."

Every red servant was wary of Kotomine as they took a stance "What happened to our masters?" Kotomine smiled and showed them his command seals "They surrendered the command seals peacefully." Everyone went quiet.

A figure materialised next to Kotomine. Jeanne revealed the name which put every red servant on guard "Semiramis, Queen of Assyria and the oldest poisoner."

Atalanta growled in hostility as the rest of the servants had weapons drawn.

Jeanne asked "What is your objective Amakusa?" Kotomine smiled "The salvation of humanity."

A small chuckle was heard from Makoto as everyone turned to look at the Saviour class heroic spirit. Kotomine remained smiling "What's so funny? Saviour?" Makoto had a sad smile "If humanity could achieve proper salvation then I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be stuck in the great seal before. I could have passed on normally." No humanity can't achieve salvation in life, I learned that after achieving the Universe."

Kotomine was intrigued "Go on." I spent my time as the great seal due to Erebus being the collective will of humanity wanting to die, they wished for death to put them out of their misery." Everyone listened to Makoto "However you must know that by achieving what you call salvation and making the world completely good you have achieved stagnation instead."

Chiron asked "What do you mean?"

Makoto sighed "Take for example two different worlds. the first is a world that is completely happy and then the second is a world riddled with strife and war. Which world do you think would be more technologically advanced?" Everyone thought until Atalanta answered "The second." Makoto smiled in praise "Good job mind sharing the reason you think it's the second?"

Atalanta sighed "Because the second world has more pressure to technologically advance whereas the first world has no reason to." Achilles grinned before ruffling Atalanta's hair.

"I never knew you were so smart." Atalanta grumbled before scratching Achille's face. "I'm not like you muscle headed grunt!" Kotomine thought for a bit "I see where you are coming from, but I won't give up on my wish."

Makoto sighed as he asked Semiramis "Do you have any food here?" Semiramis smiled as this was a chance little did she know that Makoto was already ahead of her.

Semiramis came back with a tray of food for Makoto as he started eating the meal presented to him. Semiramis had put the most deadly poison she could make into that food. He won't die and he'll be tortured for eternity if he comes back to life like he showed in the battle before.

Everyone watched as Makoto finished with a burp "Excuse my manners." Atalanta looked at the idiot and once again spoke for all of them "Did he just consume food made by the world's oldest poisoner without questioning it?" Chiron seemed amused "I think he did."

Makoto felt something wrong in his stomach as he clutched onto it. Semiramis smiled while every other servant simply thought "Well he had that one coming." Everyone froze at the sound. Makoto clutched his stomach and told Semiramis "It seems I am still starving." Her inner emotions were in turmoil.

"I thought I got him! Turns out he was just really hungry? What is going on?"

The golems were closing in on Ruler and Chiron as Makoto kept munching his way through the meal.

Semiramis was having trouble deciding on what to be thinking about. Should she be thinking about how he's sort of cute like a blue haired hamster stuffing its cheeks or should she be thinking about why he isn't screaming in pain?

She broke out of her thoughts as a girl clad in amour arrived, Saber.

Makoto munched his way through the meal as he thought.

"She cooks pretty well, of course not as good as Shinjiro though. No one can replace him as their cook."
