7 Origins are BS

Fuyuki City,

Outlying Forests,

Luke POV,

Luke looked at his hand in curiosity and smiled widely looking at the slight red hue in them. God, he loved this verse a lot! Origin powers are all bullshit and he had now obtained a similarly bullshit power completely unique to himself.

He folded his arms and sat down thinking, very very hard. Cu looked at him in amusement, true the lad was a tad bit too excited but to be honest, Cu couldn't blame him for it. The power he had awakened alongside his Origin wasn't really something to scoff at, in the world of magus, it was far too powerful to be in the hands of a living human but then again, most of these powers were far removed from common sense like that one brat who could use all the magecraft in the world as a result of it.

To be honest, his current master was a fucking anomaly but he was was curious about how the lad would change the coming future. At the same time, he was astounded that a monster of this calibre could come around in this day and age.

Luke currently had a very thoughtful look on his face, he was truly thinking very hard, his brain completely focused on carrying out one task! Cu noticed this and tilted his head in confusion, "What you thinkin bout, master?" He asked, astonished that someone with that appearance could think in the first place.

"Hmm? A name for the ability...." Luke replied unbothered.

"Pft.."

"Oi!"

"Nevermind..." Cu looked away barely holding back his laughter and slightly backed away, resting against a tree, he burst out laughing.

"Fuck you too." Luke said with a sigh before scratching the back of his head, to be honest he completely sucked at naming things and everything he was able to come up with up until now was silly and sounded retarded.

"If you can't come up with one, I'll do you a favour and give you a fitting one." Cu remarked dusting off his clothes which had become dirty earlier seeing as he fell over laughing at his Master's actions. "Shoot." Luke said standing up to look at him directly, if he came up with a shitty name after laughing at him then Luke would....

"Avaritia." was the word that left Cu's mouth before Luke could finish his thoughts and the name left him slack jawed. Sure as hell, it was unoriginal, it was just saying Greed in another language but it sounded.....amazing. It completely fit with the theme of Fate!

"I.. thanks." He said looking at the destruction he had caused by using his Mystic Eyes earlier, completely unintentional damage by the way. The power he now called, 'Avaritia' was the ability to fully transfer ownership of anything and everything and in a world like Fate where 'owning' had a very broad yet unique definition, this was a broken power.

Practically, it allowed him to take control over any running magics he could directly see or feel being used. In theory, it would allow him to achieve feats like making a thrown fireball change directions and go back towards the caster, deflect any debuffs cast towards him as well as redirect magical attacks. Furthermore, it would allow him to take any Noble Phantasms that were actively physically present there.

Don't misunderstand though. He couldn't take noble phantasms from summoned servants as they were simply copies of the ones that were present in the Throne of Heroes, copies made to fight in the Grail Wars and as such not the actual things meaning their noble phantasms were only present in actual history or in the Throne of Heroes.

However, there were the ones that were actually present there. Like Avalon, which was currently housed in Shirou Emiya and rightfully belonged to the Saber, Artoria Pendragon. As it had survived the ages and was physically and spiritually completely present there, he could therefore take it as his own.

This 'ability' of his was fairly dangerous and revolved around 'taking' that which belonged to others 'unfairly' and 'by force', solely because he wanted them. A power truly befitting a greedy man.

Then there was the unforeseen consequence or rather the advantage of this ability, since reality marbles and bounded fields were also considered a form of magic or magecraft he could take even those for himself. While bounded fields were simply barriers with varying effects and properties, Reality Marbles were the result of the owner projecting their inner reality onto their surroundings and making a separate space.

This might not sound impressive by itself but he remembered that Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works was also a reality marble, he could now take that from him and make it his own. Furthermore, a single person was normally limited to one reality marble, with this he could take multiple and be no less worse off than he was originally.

Luke chuckled at his own thoughts, his greed had been intensified by a lot but still, there was no way it was going to overpower his sense of reason like it did to many. He was too manly for that! He wasn't yielding to anything no matter what, that was his way of doing things, those that have a problem can keep it to themselves!

He raised his hand to the sky with a chuckle and clutched it tightly, he was here, and he was greedy, this was one of the strongest verses out there without a doubt and now he wanted it's riches for himself or rather, that which fancied his eye which was money and treasure for the most part.

With a chuckle, he started walking away, not interested in staying in the forest anymore. It was time to see how far this timeline had gone in terms of events, the Fuyuki Singularity was one of the bad ends for the Heaven's Feel route of Fate Stay Night and he was now determined to find out when and where he had been thrown into the timeline.

"Oi Master." Cu spoke in a whisper walking behind Luke, he had noticed something there right now. "Shoot." Luke said glancing at him from the corner of his eyes, he had no time to train in magecraft at the moment because the war was already underway for all he knew and with the servants running around, he couldn't exactly not care about them and become a bookworm.

"Someone arrived right now." Cu replied in a relaxed manner, that someone was no big deal so he wasn't that worried anymore. "Oh, who is it?" Luke asked stopping in place, they could very well have a fight on their hands right now and he sure as hell wasn't running away from one.

"A human. Doesn't seem to be a magus, dark blue hair, closed eyes." Cu informed him looking back with squinted eyes, "Oh he looks like he practises martial arts." Cu knew that from the way the man carried himself when walking even as he looked around shocked at the destruction.

"Oh it's Reikan, don't mind him." Luke waved his hand dismissing the matter, they were fairly close to the Ryuudou Temple so him being attracted to the noise was no big deal, sure there was a chance some of the other masters might find out about him as a result but he didn't really care, it would make things much more interesting.
