Origin is Greed!

Fuyuki City,

Ryuudou Temple,

Luke POV,

Luke looked at the destruction he had brought about with a small smile on his face, this was good. Ignoring the fact that Mystic Eyes were already one of the greatest forms of Magecraft, he had obtained the Mystic Eyes of Distortion! These were eyes he considered to be the strongest among the Mystic Eyes even surpassing the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

Moreover, solely getting Mystic Eyes was incredibly amazing. This is because they were capable of phenomena even sorcery was incapable of, making them highly coveted and useful. Though, that wasn't why he considered them the strongest. The reason lies in the fact that eyes allow one to bend the fabric of space-time itself.

He looked at the destruction over once and nodded thoughtfully, an entire section of the forest was gone, even the clouds overhead had been distorted, affirming his theory that they had affected everything within his sight regardless of distance. These eyes were too powerful to be honest. Their original user couldn't utilize them to their full potential because she had no knowledge of Magecraft and was limited to distorting things she thought could be distorted while originally they were eyes considered to be super rare among the already rare mystic eyes.

Their true function being that regardless of something being organic or inorganic, "if it exists", it will be reflected as an image printed on a flat sheet. Then, this target - regardless of its strength or scale - could be distorted, twisted and severed.

Bottom line is, these eyes were incredibly powerful and getting them made him very very OP. They were a surefire way of getting rid of any projectiles heading his way since they distorted space and time according to their user's will. Anything capable of messing with these two elements is incredibly powerful, end of discussion.

"Damn Master." Cú remarked rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he really had lucked out with this guy. Inhuman levels of Od, Prana Conversion and on top of that, Mystic Eyes capable of fucking with space and time. What, you thought he didn't notice what had happened earlier? Of course he did, his Master was a clueless but formidable man.

Luke cleared his throat and stood back up. He turned towards Cú and looked at him calmly, "Let's form the contract." he said with a small nod, this was the Fuyuki Singularity and the Grail War had already started, he didn't have enough time to learn magecraft here. Having a Caster in this situation would really help out.

Reinforcement runes were a thing, he was going to have this guy carve them into his body if necessary. If reinforcement from Medea allowed a human to fight on par with a weakened servant then he had reason to believe reinforcement from a user of Primordial Runes would do more than that.

"Aye." Cú nodded in agreement, they were better off forming the contract as soon as possible. He raised his staff and tapped Luke with it, "For the duration of this War. I'll be yer guide and servant." he said with a serious nod making Luke nod back confirming the contract. He didn't get any Command Seals though, those were granted by the Grail to allow control over the servants for the war. Typical summonings didn't give a person Command Seals.

He was, however, now Caster's Master for now. They would have to look out for each other and back the other up when necessary...or so Luke believed. In truth, it was the servant that was supposed to fight while the Master commanded them; however , Luke wasn't the typical cold and calculating man. He was a man who would give the middle finger to Gilgamesh and tell him to fuck off without a single regret.

"So this is how it feels." Luke remarked with a small nod, he could feel a connection with the man that stood in front of him at this moment. "This works too." he said checking out the mental connection between him and his new servant. "Damn that's better." Cú said stretching his arms, being without a Master really did a number on his power but now he was fully recharged and ready to rumble!

"Let's fuck some shit up." Luke said holding out his hand with a small grin. Cú firmly shook his hand with a grin of his own, "Of course, Master!" he said nodding readily, that was the way a warrior was supposed to be! Not talking in the background or scheming but rather taking everything head on. His Master was such a man and he was glad for that!

"Wait a second. Let's just check my origin right here and be done with all this." Luke said pulling back his hand, with all this complicated shit over with, he could move to beating shit up. Learning magecraft comes later, first they had to do something about the Grail War. Origins define a person's personality and their life. They are part of a person's instinct and influence them directly however they are not to be confused with external factors.

Rather they could be defined as a person's habits and character traits. For example, a person known for their anger getting angry. Once awakened, they too grant a special power aligned with what the Origin of a person actually is. For example, Shirou's Origin "Sword" which allows him to manifest the Unlimited Blade Works and improves his tracing to a realm of it's own. One where he was able to beat the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh in a one on one fight while still being human. Even if the fight was under ...certain circumstances and conditions the fact that Gilgamesh lost couldn't be denied.

Luke as a hardcore Fate fan was also aware of the fact that the anime had actually dialled down the beating Gilgamesh had recieved from the teenager. Shirou originally kept destroying the portals of the Gate of Babylon as soon as they appeared, not even giving the servant a chance to retaliate against his onslaught. That was the cold and harsh truth.

A few minutes later, an annoyed Luke could be seen resting against a tree with his arms folded as Cú laughed his ass off. Why? Well they checked his Origin, they checked it alright. His Origin was what anyone would expect it to be "Greed.". The overwhelming desire to take, take and take what he wanted for himself regardless of whether his actions were morally right or wrong, humane or inhumane as well all the chaos he caused as a consequence of his "Greed".

"This is neat and your opinion doesn't matter." Luke said looking away with his arms folded, his Origin was cool as FUCK. Opinions don't matter! It suited him more than anything imaginable. "Course it is." Cú nodded trying to hold back his laughter, in the end, his Master was greedy like all humans. Except, his Greed far surpassed everything else. Come on, the guy's literal Origin was Greed!

"So what'd I get from it?" Luke asked expectantly, everyone gets some unique power from their Origin and he wanted to know what his was. Knowing him, it was sure to be something that demanded respect and caused everyone to awe, he thought smugly.

Their little exhibit of power didn't go unnoticed though and it was sure to cause them a number of problems.
