70 Lancelot on the Loose

(4 out of 4 chapters this week)

"W-What!? Where did Rider disappear to!?" The fat blonde man exclaimed with worry.

The Rider of Black was barely holding himself against the King of Knights. The Legendary King was like a tank with endless mana throwing around with insane force. The only reason the pink-haired knight survived this long was because he had a mount.

And now he is gone!

'What am I supposed to do against these two!? And why are they not killing each other!? Aren't they like mortal enemies!?'

He started to sweat buckets. He knows his Siegfried is powerful and all. But against two knights like these!? He is not a betting man! He is not planning to find out!

'Saber! Use your noble phantasm! And then we have to retreat! Do it now!'

'Understood.'

The white-haired Saber lifted his sword, and a green aura surged.

Mana started to gather in his blade.

"Huh!? So that's how it is! Then let's roll!" Mordred exclaimed eagerly as her helmet retracted.

"Let me show you my strongest Noble Phantasm as well!"

A red aura surged around her; crimson lightning crackled around the blade.

Turning into a red pillar of energy, opposite to her was a green pillar of power as well. However, Mordred felt a certain dread coming from it.

"This is an evil sword which destroyed my father! CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR!" The Crimson pillar descended into a beam which rushed towards the white-haired swordsman.

To answer back, Saber of Black's green pillar descended as well.

"...BALMUNG…"

The pair of beams slammed into each other, causing a massive pillar of destruction.

The blast was what Siegfried needed as he grabbed his Master and dashed away.

At the same time, Mordred and Artoria looked at the pillar of destruction created by two blasts.

The King of Knights raised her hand and brushed her fingers through the energy in the air.

She knows Balmung is deadly to her because of her dragon trait. But that Clarent Blood Arthur is no less dangerous as well.

'This is what Master said about attacks which hit harder depending on legends. Balmung, being a dragon slayer, is given. But this Mordred's beam, it's meant for me?'

"Haah!? He runs away!? That bastard!" Mordred stomped her feet. She then looked at Artoria on the side.

"Did he run away as well?"

"...He did. That thing's Master summoned him back." The blonde Saber scoffed. She had no idea what that thing was, but it was not a knight! As King of Knights, she disapproves! That Rider is so random, like the wind!

"...That's bad? Damn, if you are showing that much emotion, I guess that Servant was bad." Mordred was baffled. She rarely saw her Father show this much facial expression.

Artoria's eyebrow twitched when she heard that.

"I might have shown little emotions as King, but that was when I ruled Britain. Now it's different." The blonde nearly pouted while saying that.

"...I see… but this reminds me, father." Mordred raised her blade.

"I demand a rematch. Last time you won. My mother cursed my body. But this time around, it's different."

"...It is different. You are a Servant, while I am a Pseudo-Servant. I am far more powerful than my Servant self. I wield infinite mana. You sure wish to fight someone who has a limitless supply of energy?" Even though Artoria said that, she took her sword stance.

"Hahaha, the more difficult, the better! Now defend yourself!!!"

*Lightning Crackled*

Clarent roared to life as red lightning descended on the King of Knights.

Saber swung her blade as well. Golden light followed her as her Dragon Heart started to pump massive amounts of energy.

"Ugh!!!"

From the collision, it looked like Mordred had the upper hand as she lunged and swung downwards, and Artoria turned her sword upwards, but it was not so.

The Crimson Thunder Knight blasted away, flying like a kite.

'Damn it! Father is way stronger than ever!'

As she complained in her mind, the Knight of Treachery needed to defend herself the next moment as a thrust from a familiar lance came towards her.

"...Rhongomyniad!!!"

Mordred used her blade to block the strokes from the Lance!

"Exactly! Brings back memories, does it!?" A smirking Artoria said that as she was trying to stab the Red Saber.

"That's not fair! You are Saber! Why do you have your Lance!?" The Knight of Treachery loudly complained as she was pouting at this development.

"That's because my Master retrieved the real Lance and gave it to me. This lance is no Noble Phantasm! This Rhongomyniad is a real Divine Construct!"

With an empowered thrust, Artoria sent Mordred, skidding several metres away.

'Damn it! Who thought father is annoying when he is not hiding behind that stoic face!'

"Ugh…"

"Mordred! We have to go after that Saber!" Necromancer, who witnessed the short fight internally, complained about his brash Servant.

"Listen to your Master. We still have a war to fight." Saber sighed; she joined Necromancer's side on this one.

"...Ugh…FINE! But I want a rematch!" Mordred pouted with an annoyed look. Is it that hard to get a proper rematch between her and her Father!?

"Fine, whatever. I can ask my Master to resummon you just for a 'rematch'." The King of Knights said while looking away. She saw a massive black cloud in the distance. Greenish-blue energy gathered there. Before, an enormous pillar of light slammed into something.

'That's Morgan's magecraft; she is on the move?'

Is it time for her to move out? The Dark Witch is like the cleaning crew. Or more like the one who collects all the dishes from the table before putting them in the dishwasher.

In other words, she is the one who kills all.

But that is far too soon unless something happens to the Master.

Not in a dangerous way; someone might have done something to him which made that witch act crazy.

Knowing Morgan, she doesn't need much excuse to do something crazy.

"That's… Mother?" Mordred looked in the same direction. But at that moment, blue lightning nearly hit the Saber of Red and erased her from existence.

"Oof! Close call!" The Knight of Treachery dodged the attack with a sweaty forehead.

"You do realise that she will kill you if you keep calling her 'mother'." Artoria, with a strained look, commented.

"...Yeah, it's something of an instinct hard to forget."

~~~~~~Meantime~~~~~~
Saber Alter rushed towards the Vampire Count, who, by this point, was using his long nails as weapons. His red eyes and elf ears showed that he wasn't a human heroic spirit anymore.
"Impressive, your strength can keep up with mine. But what about Mana Burst?" The pale blonde Fallen Knight grinned as her mana roared to life and sent the vampire flying away.
As the pair were fighting, Jeanne walked over to her Master. There was a severe look on her face.
"We need to get rid of him! He is a feral vampire now! With that command seal in use, Lancer is no longer in control." The Blonde Ruler said with some urgency in her voice.
"My Saber is more than capable of dealing with that thing," Ren leisurely said to his Servant.
"Master…"
"I know what you're going to say. But there is no need for your worry." He patted her head.
"...Ugh… how can you be so nonchalant…"
"Because I know the outcome." He rolled his eyes before looking at the remaining opposition.
Chiron and Astolfo now needed to look at two fronts; as Dracula went feral, he attacked anyone, and then Ren and his two— Three Servants. The Ruler is on his side as well.
"Master, I will stall them. You need to get away from here as far as you can. We have no chance of winning this." The Sage said to his Master.
"Archer… I can't leave you like this."
"This is not for discussion. We have no chance of winning; I can only stall him. That's the best I can do. We can't win against someone who can control time like this."
"Then does it matter? If he can control time, he will find me and kill me either way." The girl with Spider Legs Mystic Code said with a sweaty forehead.
"Fair enough." Her Servant said with a strained smile. Whatever happens, he will try to protect her as much as possible.
"Done with the last speeches?" Atalante asked as she prepared her bow.
"Indeed. Now get ready, I won't be holding back." Chiron said as he prepared his bow as well.
"Good, I don't want you to complain that I didn't allow you to go all out." As the Huntress said that, she pulled the bowstring, and a glowing arrow manifested before she released it with supernatural force.
Chiron dodged the shot and released his arrow.
The huntress proceeded to dodge easily and release another one.
Soon enough, the fight between the two Archer-Class Servants began. Meantime, the girl proceeded to prepare a trap of some sort for the Huntress.
As she did that, Ren simply observed instead of interfering.
His gaze then went to the other pair of Master and Servant. Unlike the Master of Archer, this one doesn't have the same resolve. The Sorcerer can see the nervousness around her.
He then looked at her Servant. Anger started to rise. He remembered something from the past.
'How can I forget getting spooked by Astolfo in Fate Grand Order.'
"...Berserker, kill that pink freak for me; you can let loose."
The moment Ren said that his Servant started to twitch, and the aura around the armoured Knight began to shift. His Master removed mental inhibitors from his Servant with those simple words.
"Huh? Hey! What do you mean—" The Rider of Black in front of The Sorcerer and Ruler looked confused. What does he mean, pink freak? What loose?
***ROAR***
"ARTHURRRRRR!!!! DieEEEEE!!!" With insane speed, Berserker appeared before Astolfo and delivered an absurd sonic slap to the side.
*SMACK*
The pink Knight, like a ragdoll, flew into castle walls. The attack's impact was enough to blast through the wall like a hot knife through cheese.
"REEEEEE!!!!"
Ren's Berserker roared some more before motioning to hold a gun.
Black lines started manifesting, and a weapon began to manifest around him.
"Oh…interesting! He is using Arondight like that."
At that moment, a massive black cannon appeared around the mad Knight. The knight loaded his Noble Phantasm like it was ammo into the barrel.
"ARONDIGHT OVERDRIVE!!! FIRE!"
A beam of Greenish gold erupted from the barrel as it rushed towards where Astolfo should be.
This attack easily erased everything in the path and much more.
The beam erased even the dust, as after the beam settled down, nothing was left behind.
"Hehehe, you missed that one~!" Astolfo, who was riding a hippogriff, exclaimed loudly. He has a swallowed cheek; it is all red and slightly deformed on his face.
"You are a masochist, aren't you? You like it when someone abuses you?" Ren exclaimed with disbelief that the guy appeared before his mad knight.
***ROAR***
Lancelot swiftly dropped the cannon and summoned a massive six-barrel Gatling Gun. The barrel started to spin as greenish-blue bullets began to rush towards
"Crap! Dodge hippogriff!" Astolfo started to dodge the incoming attacks while the mad Berserker began to chase after the pink knight.
"Umm…Master…" Jeanne looked nervously, having second thoughts about allowing Berserker to get loose like that.
"It's fine… I think Astolfo shouldn't push him to the brink, I think."
"You THINK?"
"Yep, If he does, then I will be surprised."
"What happens when your Berserker gets pushed to the brink?!?"
"He pulls out some dangerous stuff~" Ren teased a bit. He then saw the dominatrix was about to run away.
"Jeanne, stop that woman. She is a Master and can't run away like that."
"R-Right!" The blonde Saint rushed after the Master of Rider. In the meantime, Ren looked at Berserker getting more unhinged as he pulled out more weaponry from his storage space.
'Hmm, I should alter more of his thoughts toward Noble Phantasm crafting; he prefers to use stored weapons, hmm… I should summon Astolfo next time if I want a good shooting target.'
