7 Chapter 6

Every time I upload a chapter I always read it myself as a kind of here's what happening now, what happens next kind of thing. Then curse the author on the slow release rate cause I want to know what happens next before realising I'm the author, and already know what gonna happen next. Then I think to myself hurry up and get to the cool future events I have planned.

Watching anime for the entire day, I never even noticed that I'd missed lunch, or the fact that Kiritsugu was sanding over me, staring at me with this clear look of disappointment. That is till I heard the sound of him clearing throat, looking up at him I see him looking at me with what can only be described as disappointment.

"Nicholas, I'm very disappointed in you, I expected you to be training your magecraft not waiting time watching tv. Do you think being a mage is a game, that it doesn't matter what happens and without any effort you will be able to." Taking a breath before he continued, " I see, the life of a mage is not something your suited for, as of this moment you magecraft training is over, I forbid you from performing and magecraft or even activating you circuits".

"What, wait up what do you".

"ENOUGH, you have shown me you are not dedicated enough, with your current mindset and action, trying to become a mage will be a death sentence. I'd rather you spend you life as a civilian then dead because you were reckless".

"Wait, dad listen to what I have to say"

"What do you want to say, no matter how you look at it you spent the entire day sitting here watching tv, did you even enter the shed, did you even practice your magecraft. Magecraft is not a game, the slightest mistake can kill you. To be a mage is to walk with death, it requires absolute care and caution, if you would rather spend your time watching a show then training ten it's best we end thing here before you learn something that will kill you".

" Are you not going to say anything"

" So I can talk now, cool, I wasn't practicing because practiceing would be pointless, and it would be easier to show you rather then explaining"

Activating my Circuits I activate my trigger, "Realise", humming with power my circuits come to life and with a thought, using projection a pillow appears out of no where, showing it to Kiritsugu, I get the expected result.

"your point, you did the spell but it was extremely sloppy and honestly, it a terrible projection"

"I know"

"So what's the point of this"

"This"

With a thought, a fancy, stupidity comfortable couch appear out of no where and unlike the fake projected pillow this is 100% real and permanent, afterall I just altered reality to bring this couch into existence, the most comfortable couch in existence, it's like sitting on a cloud. Now as to be expected Kiritsugu is currently staring at me like I have two head, afterall a couch just appeared out of no where, no mana, no flash nothing, just poof, there. I'm pretty sure if is mouth got any wider his jaw would dislocate, I mean he look like he just saw a miracle, pun intended. It took about ten minutes for Kiritsugu to regain his senses, considering he just saw me use what was clearly a feat of true magic right in front of his eyes coming from an eight year old child. That's saying something as I'm pretty sure any other magus would faint, or maybe die from a sudden aneurysm from the shock that an eight year old child has achieved something that magus family have spent centuries, maybe even millenia trying to achieve, with no success. Speaking of long running magus family's, maybe I should make a trip to the mages association some time and show off, see how many die or suicide from shock. I can guarantee that once the prestigious lord families realise that an eight year old child has done what they have failed to for centuries there will be a few suicides. Yep next on the to-do list is to convince Kiritsugu to take me to the clock tower, after fixing his curse of course.

"How, **************"

"What was that, your so quiet I could hear what you said"

"HOW, HOW CAN A CHILD DO THAT, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, WHAT YOU JUST DID, THAT WASN'T PROJECTION, THERE WAS NO BURST OF MANA, NO FLICKER, NOTHING, IT JUST APPEARED OUT OF NO WERE, YOU JUST ACHIEVED A FEAT OF TRUE MAGIC, WAS THAT THE 'DENIAL OF NOTHINGNESS', LITERALLY CREATING NEW MATTER REGARDLESS OF THE LAWS OF PHYSICS, OR"

"DAD", tired or hearing dad scream I call out to him, shocking him out of his rant.

"What"

"Your screaming, calm down ill tell you what happened"

"In and out, in and out, okay, I'm ready" After taking a few calming breath, he finally seems ready to listen to what I have to say.

"For starters, yes that was true magic, but it wasn't the first 'denial of nothingness' but a new one, a 'sixth magic', 'illusionary reality', or at least that the name I have given it. It allows me to blur the line between whats real and what illusionary, it allows me to innately create powerful illusions and even swap the illusion with reality, so what's real becomes an illusion and what's an illusion becomes real. it has limits though, I can't create life or make something that doesn't exist, when I swap my illusions with reality, the reality I'm replacing is used to create the new reality regardless of what it was before. On top of that you know how in the book it briefly mentioned the reverse side, will if I use my magic at full power, I can see the reverse side and even go there, I haven't tried it yet but it's like I know I can do it."

"How"

"When I activate my magic I can sense illusions and reality, and when I do I can feel the present world is reality, but the reverse side is illusions, my ability to interchange the two allows me to travel between them at will. My magic allows me to decide whether fact is fact or fiction is fiction, pretty cool ha".

And with that Kiritsugu knew no more. I was so engrossed in my explanation I didn't even realise Kiritsugu had fainted while standing up. Activating my magic I sent Kiritsugu to bed, before making myself dinner and sitting on my new couch to watch more anime for a few more hours before going to bed myself.
