1 Chapter 1: Why am I in Nasuverse?

There were many things that Felix expected to happen in his life. And this wasn't one of them. He had decided to take a nap after he came back to his house to play. Only to be awakened by a wet feeling on his cheek. He groggily opened his eyes to see the perpetrator who ruined his sleep as his eyes widened when he saw a familiar white squirrel like thing on his shoulder.

"Fou!" Fou cried out cutely before he jumped down.

"Are you okay?" A purple haired girl who he recognised as Mash asked him as she stood before him.

"What? Where?" Felix said confused.

'Wasn't I taking a nap just now?' Felix thought to himself as his mind is a bit foggy as he held his head.

"Hmm, guess the effects of the simulation hasn't subsided. Why don't you come with me senpai? I can get you water." Mash said to him.

"Huh? Uh, yeah. Thanks." Felix said as he slowly got up.

Then he walked with Mash and sat at a bench as the girl gave him a glass of water. After he drank the water his head became more clear. He looked at Fou who is standing at his feet and at Mash who is looking at him curiously.

'Oh sweet mother of Jesus. I got transmigrated to the world of Fate Grand Order. And I don't see the protagonist, does that mean I replaced them? Why? He's a central character for the story? And why Nasuverse? The same world where even the tiniest of things can kill you!?' Felix thought to himself as he covered his face with his hands as he has a scared expression.

"Are you okay senpai?" Mash asked him a bit worried.

"Yeah, I'm just fine. My head is a bit numb but I'm okay." Felix said with his face still covered.

'This might be a dream right? I mean I was sleeping so this might be a dream that I'm having. But I also drank a glass of water and it feels too real for this to be a dream.' Felix thought to himself as he removed his hands from his face.

"Thanks for the water. Who are you?" Felix asked her as he sat straight.

"I'm a member of Chaldea. As for my name, my name isn't worth mentioning so I don't think there will be any use in me telling you that." Mash said to him at his words.

"You helped me by giving me water. So there is no problem with you telling me your name okay. So please, what is your name?" Felix asked her.

"Well, if senpai doesn't have a problem then I will tell you my name. My name is Mash Kyrielight." Mash introduced herself to him.

"I see. It's nice to meet you Mash. My name is Felix Adams. Thanks for the water." Felix said to her with a small smile.

'So this is really Mash and not some dream. I really have been transmigrated.' Felix thought to himself nervously as he kept his smiling face.

"Fou!" Fou cried drawing his attention.

"Ah! This is Fou. He is a privileged animal who lives in Chaldea. He can wander around the building freely." Mash said as he introduced the animal to him.

Fou then climbed onto Felix's leg and onto his shoulder before jumping and hitting Mash on her forehead before he fell on her shoulder.

"He seems cheerful." Felix said with a smile at its antics.

"Yes. Fou likes to do things like this." Mash said as Fou jumped down from her shoulder and ran away as the two watched.

"Mash? What are you doing here?" The voice of a man drew their attention.

Felix's eyes widened when he saw a man wearing green walk towards them as he recognised him as well. Lev Lainur who is responsible for bringing about the destruction of Chaldea.

'I really want to scream about how he's a traitor but they won't believe me so I should probably keep my mouth shut. And this also confirms that I have transmigrated into the FGO world.' Felix thought to himself as he looked at the man.

Both him and Mash stood up as the man stood in front of them. He looked at Felix as he looked him from up and down. Felix is a man standing at a height of 177 cm. With black hair, brown skin and yellowish eyes and wearing the Chaldea uniform. (He looks like Thorns from Arknights.)

"And who is this young man?" Lev asked Mash as he looked at her.

"This is Felix Adams. Senpai is a master candidate chosen by Chaldea. This is professor Lev, he is an engineer here." Mash said to the man before turning to Felix.

"Oh. Then I must have him on the database." Lev said as he looked at his watch and fiddled with it as his profile came.

"Let's see, yes, you're the last Master candidate for Chaldea. 39 talented mages and 10 talented public applicant's. It was difficult but we managed to do it. So how long have you been training? 3 months, 6 months, 9 months?" Lev asked him after checking the information.

'So I really replaced the protagonist. Wonderful.' Felix thought to himself in sarcasm.

"I don't actually have training but I do plan on getting them." Felix said to the man as he smiled.

'Don't break the mask. Don't break the mask. Can't believe that the skills I developed due to being an introverted guy is helping me here.' Felix thought to himself as he kept his face.

"Oh, sorry for the assumption. Each and every one of you is needed for the success of this mission, so don't feel down." Lev said to him in an apologetic tone.

"It's alright professor." Felix said with a smile.

'It wouldn't have been a problem if you didn't cause an explosion in the first place.' Felix thought to himself as he looked at the man.

"On another note, isn't it time for the orientation?" Lev said causing Mash's eyes to widen.

"What orientation?" Felix asked playing dumb.

"The one being held by the director. If you get there, then she will glare at you for a year." Lev said to him.

"Well, I certainly wouldn't want that. Where is the orientation?" Felix said before asking Mash.

"I know the way. Please follow me senpai." Mash said to him as she ran forward.

"Right behind you." Felix said as he ran with her.

"Wait, if any problems happen, I will be yelled at too. I should probably go as well." Lev said as he ran behind them.

Then the three of them reached the elevator and went to the lower floor where the orientation is happening.

"This is a big place." Felix said as he looked through the glass.

"It is. There are few buildings in the world that can match Chaldea." Lev said as Mash nodded to him.

"I see." Felix said as he looked out the glass.

They reached the target floor and Felix went and sat at his seat. He saw other Master candidates with him and he couldn't find the protagonist as he sighed heavily. Then his attention was taken when a white haired woman appeared and stood in front of the candidates.

"I'm Olga Marie Animusphere. The director of Chaldea." Olga said as she stood before them.

She then started to give a speech about how the candidates were tools for her to use to her discretion which didn't sit well with them. For the mages they didn't like being called as tools as their own pride is also a factor in it. As for the civilian candidates they didn't like it because of how they have been living as individuals.

Olga had a troubled expression on her face when she heard their protests but then shouted at the to quiet down before saying that those who don't agree with her can walk down the mountain on their own effectively shutting them up. Then she started to explain about how humanity will become extinct in 2017 and it is Chaldea's job to prevent it.

Felix listened to the details said by her as he learnt that he is in B team as support for the A team. He donned the suit but he was nervous about going into a coffin and he didn't actually want it to be the place where he will be put into cryosleep so he was hesitating. Something which irked Olga as she is in the same place as the Master candidates to see them off.

"What are you doing candidate no.49? Get in the coffin." Olga said to him angrily.

"Um, director, is it possible that I could enter the coffin after they rayshifted?" Felix asked her nervously.

"And why do you want to do that?" Olga asked as she glared at him.

"Well, I am nervous about this Rayshift that we are performing and I'm a civilian so I'm not used to this. So I think I would have some peace of mind if I see them doing it first." Felix said to her nervously.

"You incompetent little. Argh fine! It's not like not sending you is going to be a problem. Fine, stand here and look at them and after they Rayshift I'm kicking you into your coffin." Olga said to him with a glare and she crossed her arms.

"Thank you." Felix said with a sigh.

He watched as the other master candidates went into the coffin. He made eye contact with an orange haired girl wearing an eye patch as she looked at him curiously. He broke the eye contact and then looked at the command room where he saw Lev.

He kept his eyes on the man and due to the adrenaline that is passing through him due to the fear of the explosions that will happen. He kept his eyes on the man as the staff were going through the calculations. They were about to start the countdown when Felix's eyes widened when he saw Lev's mouth widening to form a large toothy grin. His fear grew when the man looked at the place where he and Olga is standing as he remembered something.

'Wait a minute, the bomb that orginally destroyed Olga's body was right under her. Which means that we're standing on top of the bomb?!' Felix thought to himself as he realised as his eyes widened.

He immediately turned around and grabbed Olga causing her to shriek out in a girly voice before he dashed with her and soon after the two of them were lifted off the ground as the place they were standing erupted.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM*

The force from the blast sent them flying as he hugged Olga out of reflex with the girl doing the same. He opened his eyes as then his magic circuits activated as they spread over his body as he was reaching the closed metal door. He immediately turned himself around and his back hit the door instead of Olga's stunning the girl at his act.

"Gah!" Felix grunted in pain before the both of them fell on the floor.

'My life is fucked.' Felix thought to himself as he groaned in pain.
