Chapter 1: Life Before The Plot? The System

Ok before we start some things have to be clear, that being how the conversations and sound effects will be shown in the novel, I see this in many stories so I should do the same, I think

well is something like this:

Remember that the characters are speaking in the language and there may be an instance where the language may change to English or any other language I hope you like it.

After I fall to sleep in the machine, the only thing that I remember is that I was in a room that seems to belong to a little kid, there are toy boxes, a desk with storybooks and even some drawings in the walls. it seems I was sleeping, at my side there is a night desk with a handmirror, without delay I take it to see my face.

Now let's see how do I look...... I feel like I have seen this face before...

Wavy unkempt black hair and dark gray eyes, isn't this the Persona 5 protagonist face? but to young, I look like I have 6 years old or maybe 7, don't know, well doesn't matter I was successfully reincarnated, but what happened to my system.

Right after I said that information started to flow into my head, it gave me a headache but I was able to realize something.

My name is Ren Amamiya, right now I have 7 years old.

Hm, so it seems. right now I live with my mother's older brother, Sojiro Sakura, and with his family, is wife Wkaba Sakura and her daughter, Futaba.

Aunt Wakaba divorced Futaba´s father 2 years ago and now she is married to my uncle.

I live with them because of the common protagonist cliche, my parent working outside of the country, I think they are in chin right now. the one working is my father, and my mother is there to company him.

Every 3 months they come back and stay here, well we are neighbors with uncle Sojiro so they spend their time with me without having to go far from the sakura family.

I thought that by taking this body I will have a hard time behaving like the original Ren, after all, he and I use to be different persons, but with his memories is different, I got was not only his memories but his feelings as well, kinda creepy if you ask me because it's forcefully changing my perspective of this world from a player perspective to a human perspective.

So, what can I remember of that game?

In FGO, the player takes control of the 48 master candidate, where they can choose the gender, after that they get involved in the mission to prevent the incineration of humanity, unfortunately, I don't know much of the story, I remember that the last content available was the Camelot singularity.

Ren: Hmm, how do I use my system?

Thinking about it made a blue screen appear in from of me.

Ren: WOAH!? What the.....?

the only thing in the blue screen was a bar that is filling by the second and a window with the letters <SOUND ONLY>

System: '....System initializing, Recognizing host, Staring Tutorial Protocol, <Hello Human>'.

Ren: 'Ermm.....Who are you and why English?'.

System: 'Welcome to the D5 System, Protocol Burroughs, I am Burroughs, an artificial intelligence designed to help and support the host of the D System, my mission and reason for existing is to assist you master'.

Ren: 'the D System..... you said that I have the D5 System right? what those D stands for and if I have 5, are there the one from 1 yo 4?'

Burroughs: 'their ar by the time of my creation, there existed other 5 Systems that were made before me, the original D System or D1, D2, D3, D4 and DD2, and to answer your first question, I am sorry master but the true meaning of the D is classified information and I cannot access to it'

Ren: 'Ok, can you tell me something about the other systems, like what can they do or if they are in the same world as me'.

Burroughs: 'Unfortunately I cannot access to information about them, but I can assure you that you are the only one with a system in this world'.

Right after that, the bar fills and the screen change dramatically.

the first thing that I see is what I see my stats.

Ren: 'i see, so what is soul type?'.

Burroughs: 'As the name implies, it's your soul´s current type or state, a normal person only have their soul in a normal state, not having a type, those that are capable of exerting supernatural abilities possess soul types, but only one and cannot be changed, but your case is different, you may not be able to change your soul type but you can possess 4 different soul types at the same time, but of course right now you only have one unlocked, witch is ELITE 4'.

Ren: 'And what can I do with it'

Burroughs: 'Please touch <ELITE 4> master'

Following Burroughs instructions, I touch elite 4 in soul type and another small screen exactly bellow it shows with a description.

[ELITE 4 (RANK 1): In exchange for earning less battle EXP, you will have a boost in your class exp. Current effect: EXP - 25% ; MASTERY EXP + 50%]

Ren: 'Hee, not bad I guess.....why do I feel I have seen this before.....meh details'

Burroughs: 'As you can see this is the effect, unfortunately, the only way you have to increase your soul type rank is by completing quests given by the system'´.

Ren: 'I HAVE QUESTS TO!?'

Burroughs: 'Not only quests but also an integrated shop master, but unfortunately the shop only have to items in display at the moment'

Ren: 'SHOW ME, SHOW ME!!'

I feel like I'm behaving like a kid....wierd.

Burroughs: 'hehe, don´t worry master your current behavior is due to our current mind and body of a 7 years old child, let me show you the shop'.

Burroughs: 'To increase your class mastery, normally you have to equip a class card and use it or do activities that revolve around the use of a class-main characteristic, to increase saber, train using a sword, for archer, use bows, for the assassin, train in being stealthy as possible, a simple way is to play hide and seek with other children's master'.

Ren: 'Ok, so what else can you tell me'

Burroughs: 'Resistance section is self-explanatory, it involves your resistance towards physical and magical attacks of opponents that posses that specific trait, the only way to increase it is to face opponents with said attributes'

Ren 'Then what about the equipment section'

Burroughs: 'The equipment section shows you what items do you have currently equip, starting with the main card, this shows which main class card, these cards are different to the ones mention in the first quest because these can only be obtained in the <Phantom Servant> option hat is currently blocked'

Ren: 'So I can only get only Sub class cards from that gacha'

Burroughs: 'that's correct, next is the sub card, as you said mater, this are cards that can be obtained from the gacha, this cards can be Servant class cards, Skill cards or Craft Essences, Craft Essences are spells, skills or even artifact effects that are given the forme of card that can be equipped to use their effects, some increase attack, others defense, or even give support to others to your side, and Skill cards are skills form servants, magus, artifacts, or even skills only present in the system that can be used to obtain said skills '

Ren: 'And Mystic Codes'

Burroughs: 'Mystick codes are magical artifacts wielded by a magus of this world to obtain a boost on their magecraft or other effects, unfortunately, the system cannot give you any as this can only be crafted by the people of this world'

Ren: 'I see, after seeing the info of the shop I know that mana is the system currency as well as SQ, but what is the SQ use for'

Burroughs: 'SQ or System Quarz are primarily used to roll the gacha master'

Ren: 'I see, then can I use magecraft as well?'

Burroughs: 'Im sorry master but that is impossible, maybe another person can become one, but in your case, you cannot, mainly because all magus possess magical circuits that work as a path for them to use magical energy, but not you master, your body can naturally use magical energy the same way as magus does but mainly to activate skills obtained through the system, but for other magus, using some was, the only thing they will see is that your capacity is absurdly high, in words of this word, you cannot use magecraft, but you can become a master'

Ren: 'I see, don't know if that's normal but ok' (AN: I don´t know either but this is a fanfic so meh the common thing)

After saying that the screen change and show 2 buttons, one that said <1 ROLL=3 SQ> and another that said <5 ROLLS=15 SQ>

Ren: 'OK'

Right after pressing it, the screen change to the same effect shown in the game, the shiny sparks spinning around, there lines showing that is a servant and one line when is a craft essence.

Burroughs: 'Understood master, additionally you have received 30000 mana as Gift from the director'.

Ren: 'Oh? well, let's use it then, buy the skills in the store'.

Burroughs: 'understood master'

Right after that, a starting feeling something changing in my body, my eyes started to ache a little, after a while the pain fade and after opening my eyes, my vision change.

Right now a could see.., well, everything, my perception, and my vision, I could see things to a disgusting level, every detail was clear on my eyes, not only that, I, somehow, know that what I am seeing is only the passive effect of my eyes, if I activate them then my eyes change to a yellow color, letting me see detail information of anything that I see, be it object or person.

????: Ren! come down boy, breakfast ready~!

Ren: Okay, I'm going!

Well, nothing that I can do about the quest I just have to continue living my life as i know nothing.
