2 Kaleidoscope

"Where are we!" Haji exclaimed rather frightened.

"I can't believe it... we really were transported to another place..." A bright light appeared before them both, covering themselves with their hands so as not to be blinded, once it stopped shining, they were able to observe. An already old man with grayish hair, a beard that surrounded his face and red eyes, he was wearing a black clothing that reminded of a uniform along with a cloak over it. "Nice to meet you guys, my name is Zelretch."

"Z-Z-Z-Z..." The two were speechless, they seemed to be dreaming, because it was impossible that in front of them stood one of the most important figures in the Fate universe, the wielder of the "Kaleidoscope" magic himself.

"I know, I make that kind of impression on everyone." Started laughing the old man, the two didn't know what to reply. "That was already too much laughter for today. I stand before you young people, for what you have witnessed a few moments ago, let me tell you that that is not mere chance, everything has to do with certain failures occurred in the Chaldea system, at least the one that exists in this world."

"Chaldea exists!" Rika exclaimed without getting out of her astonishment, the old man nodded.

"Apparently there was a massive hack on those mobile devices, the truth is that Chaldea is connected to them through a global server, which they have access to through those applications, is that what you call "a mobile game" in reality they were managing a single Chaldea and storing Servants in their server, Sheva. But something ended up happening, now the Servants have flown off the server and are now in your world, and not only that, a dark force has taken over them, I can tell that their data has been corrupted, now they are like in a wild and uncontrollable state."

"... Wait a minute, I still can't digest it all, do Servants really exist in this world? Is the throne of heroes real?" Haji asked.

"It's all more real than you think kid. Let me tell you the danger is too, leaving those Servants in the state they are in is dangerous, luckily I was able to fix the situation a bit and they are not free on the streets of your world, they are locked inside each of the singularities they belong to. That's where you two come in; Haji Shimamura, Rika Shimamura, I ask you to take charge of searching and collecting the Servants of the various singularities, as the only two masters of Chaldea."

"We!!! masters!!!!" Rika simply couldn't believe it, she thought she was dreaming, but it was all true.

"That's right, likewise you will have to solve the singularities so that these will return safely to your game data, you don't want them to stay there and someone outside to enter carelessly."

"Did you hear Haji, we'll be legitimate masters, we'll have our own Servants!" Rika was quite excited, her brother, on the other hand thought there was more to it.

"There's no trick to this? A hidden camera program or something, it's just... it's unreal, it's a game, it's all made up by a company that was born out of a visual novel."

"I understand that you have doubts, but you must keep in mind that there are multiple worlds, I can move and freely observe these thanks to my second magic, everything is real, and alternate worlds never lie."

Haji didn't know what to think, what Zelretch said was quite coherent, in the end he just let out a sigh.

"We have no choice then... and well... I still admit to being a bit excited about this..."

"Very well!" The old man exclaimed jovially. "From now on you will be recognized as masters of Chaldea, you will carry the fate of the world in your hands, at least so the story goes. So I will make some arrangements for you." He snapped his fingers, at that moment both of their cell phones started to glow. "Don't worry, I didn't do anything wrong, it's just a few changes that will help."

They both checked their cell phones, the Fate/Grand Order logo was replaced, it was now another app called "Chaldeas' System"

"That app will serve you as a communicator to establish contact with Chaldea, so you can talk to them, mostly with the one in charge, Dr. Romani Archaman, it also includes the "Mystic codes" needed to support in your fight; lastly, it also has the Servant storer, once you find and defeat them, open the app and it will show a capture icon, if you press it, you can catch the Servant and it will automatically be yours, plus it will purify it and you will be able to use it in battle. The more Servants you get, the more support you will have in your fight and it will be easier."

The two looked at the application in amazement, Rika was the most excited, just being able to get Servants and interact with them made her quite excited.

"To conclude, you two will not be alone in this, you must have a suitable companion to be able to guide you through the different singularities." A circle opened up behind Zelretch, a figure began to pass through going, a purple haired one in a black colored suit and carrying a shield, the two easily recognized her.

"Mash!" They exclaimed at the same time, the old man let out a laugh.

"You couldn't ask for anyone better could you? She is the best companion you will be able to have throughout your adventure, just let me tell you something. She has no memory of everything you have advanced, that means she doesn't know she has the spirit of Gallahad or all of his exploits, it's like she has started all over again. So everything about the singularities will be new to her, I hope you can help her figure it all out again."

"So... that means she..."

"Yes, she is in her state before the battle against Goetia, so she may die within two years." The two could not believe it. "You will have to strive to complete all the singularities to prevent that fate from being fulfilled."

They looked at Mash, he was floating and with his eyes closed, in a sleepy state, Rika clenched her fist tightly.

"Alright, we'll do it, not just because we want to, it's our job isn't it?" Rika could already sketch a smile. "We'll collect all the Servants and finish off Goetia, we already did it once in the game, we can do it again."

"... Well, truth be told everything is still fantastic, but I can't go backwards, I'm sure here Rika would hate me for life if I do, I'll help anyway."

Zelretch put a big smile on his face.

"So, it's all decided guys. You know it, this is the big operation to save humanity from extinction, Grand/Order, sorry to steal Roman's words, but you know it anyway. Best of luck guys, I expect great things from you."

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the two were back in their living room, everyone was talking normally as if nothing had happened, they looked at each other's faces.

"...It wasn't a dream was it?" Haji asked, Rika shook her head.

"This is one hundred percent real do you understand Haji? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, we will be true masters like in the Fate saga... now where will Mash be? She should have come with us."

Taking advantage of the fact that it was lunch time, the two went out, they had to look for the one who is considered their "kouhai". They searched everywhere, but to no avail. At last they arrived at the roof of the school which no one was allowed to pass.

"She....is...nowhere...anywhere." Haji tried to catch his breath.

"Couldn't it be that someone saw her and took her away? I'm really worried about her..." Rika lowered her gaze.

"We can't give up, if all this is true, then we must first start at Fuyuki, maybe everything will follow the story of the game and we'll find her there. We just need to see where the entrance to the first singularity is..."

At that moment the ground began to shake, the two lost their balance.

"What's wrong?" Rika asked.

"This... doesn't this feel the same to you as when Chaldeas went out of control? I mean, the feeling."

"It seems so, that means..." Suddenly the two of them began to glow. "We're going to suffer a dive."

"No chest?" Haji asked. "Damn, I can't think logically anymore."

"Face it, that means we're going by the story now, we have to follow it."

"Alright... Fuyuki, here we go!" They closed their eyes, the only thing they could observe was that blue-colored swirl, and suddenly everything went dark.
