5 Stars Summon

After an impromptu photoshoot courtesy of Rider, we made our way out of town following the directions given by the faux Google Maps that had been somehow integrated with the Fate/Grand Order game on my phone.

It pointed to several locations. When we finally reached one of them, we were immediately transported to a Mirror World, judging by the dull colors and the lack of life around us.

"So this is the mirror world? It reminds me of the barriers created by the devils for their Rating Games."

My Caster remarked, examining the world as the other servants disembarked from the family van we were driving in.

The driver, Saint George (B-Rank Riding), got out and brandished his sword.

"DAEMON!"

He started charging right into the enemies of the "Caster Training Ground (Expert)," specifically at the slightly goofy demon mob monster.

Nothing unusual.

"Hey, Archer! How about a little competition? What say you?"

"Hmph! Since you're so eager to lose, I may as well oblige you."

Lancer and Archer immediately started a mob killing competition.

"CALADBOLG!"

"OI! Why are you using your Noble Phantasm so early!?"

"What Noble Phantasm?"

"Like hell, that isn't a Noble Phantasm!"

"I don't know what you're talking about. I have no Noble Phantasm."

"As if I would believe that you phony Archer!"

I smiled in contentment at the various antics of my Servants. It's good that they're all getting along so well.

This particular training ground is filled with Lamia's, Naga's, Grimoires, and the rare Daemon's. Oh, and plenty of Caster shadow servants. The ones that didn't look like Shadow Servants were closer to the real thing, but in the end, it was fake.

"Lord Mage, what are your orders?"

"Scout the perimeter and for any Shadow Servants. The last thing we want is to give the false Caster's any time to prepare. Caster, can you give something to Assassin to signal all of us when he finds them?"

"Hmm, right. I enchanted this rock a bit. Just throw it up in the air and shout "Flare", alright?"

"Understood."

After organizing Assassin's activities, I looked up at Berserker, pointed in an unattended direction, and said.

"Berserker, kill them."

"▂▂▃▄▄▅▄▄▅▅!"

"Caster, reinforce this area. I don't want our car crushed from a stray attack. Saber, mop up anything that's running away from Berserker, all right?"

"On it~."

"Leave it to me!"

Caster and Saber got on with my orders immediately.

I'm glad that this teamwork practice is going mostly fine. As for myself, a quick stretch of my will and the Craft Essence Mystic Code was in my hand.

The Jeweled Sword Zelretch.

Not an imperfect copy that a certain twin-tailed Magus used in a certain route, not the original Sword used to push back the mirror image of the moon but a perfect replica of the sword used by Master of the Second Magic, completely available for me to use without the drawbacks suffered by Rin nor the need for an incantation.

When Asia Argento was finished with the warding and other defensive measures, we went and caught up with Rider, who was in a battle with another Daemon. His defense was unshakable as he deflected the monster's blows before moving in with lethal intent, culling another one of them with his holy blade Ascalon.

"A different Ascalon… the world sure is a big place, huh?"

Asia remarked, probably recalling Issei's own Ascalon that he would have gained in a different time.

"It sure is. And a lot of them have a whole bunch of problems. But hey, that's what we're here for. Saving humanity and the world!"

"Hehe~ When you say it like that, it brings back a lot of memories."

"Are they good ones?"

"Yup! It's like a blast from the past! Ah, we really should be concentrating more."

"Right, we can talk after this farming session. Make sure to pick up whatever's left behind."

Double-checking that the surge of power from my runic inscribed outfit was working as per usual, I dashed about the forest area of the mirror world with Asia flying close behind, taking out some airborne Grimoire's while I dealt with any land enemies.

Whenever I spotted any Lamia's, Naga's, Daemon's, or anything that wasn't an ally, I would swing the jeweled blade, releasing a huge piercing bright light that sliced right through the mob monsters. There's nothing entirely surprising about such attack power. While the level of Mystery of the attack itself wasn't on par with an A-Rank Noble Phantasm, the raw amount of power used in each one certainly matched it, and I could fling as much power as I wanted, especially with this blade.

I never thought I would get a chance like this, to mow down mobs of mythological creatures like they were ants beneath my feet. Yet, here I was, indulging in it.

The flare was fired, it was quite far from where we were.

'Archer, Lancer, nuke it. Assassin, retreat.'

A few moments after that, a crimson spear and a shooting star crashed into a single spot. It was resulting in the most beautiful explosions. The enemies began to dwindle, and in a few more minutes, we were out of things to hunt down.

We were back in the van in minutes.

"Good job, everyone! I'm happy that our outing has been successful and productive! We have a Caster Monument with us, finally, and various Caster gems and pieces. We have a Heart of a Foreign God, several void dust, serpent eyes, and forbidden pages. With so many magical reagents, we should be able to come up with something great. Ah, I'm babbling on, aren't I?"

A few chuckles from the various Servants later, I continued.

"Anyways, I'm super happy about today, so we're going to party in town! There's enough budget set aside so-"

"Master! As a certain dog has lost our little competition-"

"That fake Caster should have been worth more than one!"

"I propose that we fund this celebration out of his budget."

"Oi!"

I clapped my hands.

"What a great idea Archer! Let's do that then."

"Why do I feel like I'm being singled out?"

"I dunno. It's not like any of us are mad at you for spending your money on drinks and going around sleeping with all sorts of women instead of doing something more productive."

Yes, not at all.

"Hey! They were asking for it! I mean, have you seen their school uniforms?"

"... You're talking about the Kuoh School Uniform, aren't you? Lancer, while your views are understandable, it doesn't make it right to go after young teenagers in this day and age."

"They didn't look like kids!"

"This world is the equivalent of an ecchi anime! You should have considered that these "kids" aren't necessarily adults! God damn supermodel high-schoolers!"

"Hey, little miss, are you jealous?"

Not really, I used to be a guy, so having a nice female body like this is already decent enough.

I'll let that misunderstanding fester for a bit by letting Berserker play with Lancer. Better they think I have female issues rather than suspect something else. In any case, we partied hard, and after doing my next free daily summon, I noticed that an event notification came by.

"Nani!? The Saber Wars Trilogy?! Time stands still in the current world. The event lasts two-weeks, Saber-class only Banner and...Holy shit, free Quartz!"

But the thing is, none of my banners have a guaranteed 3-Star servant. Only guaranteed 4* and above… I can't rely on some new years banner with guaranteed 5-Star's… as if something like that will happen to me.

...But I want to try summoning a Saber first.

Mama Emiya sensed my intentions-

"Master, No!"

"Master, YES!"

Unfortunately, he managed to stop me by knocking my phone away.

But it's not over yet!

Shroud of Magdalene! I launch the red holy cloth at my phone while getting Berserker to grab Archer!

"Don't do this, Master! That's the bait you're walking into."

"I know. But I want to stop drawing anything but a Servant, you know? Besides George and Cursed Arm, I couldn't even get another 2-star servant and not even a one star. I just wish to break this streak of bad luck. It's a wish to get out of Gacha hell."

I tap the screen, swapping to the Saber only banner. After all, we needed sword beams that were bigger than what Lily and I could manage. Saber's without sword beams aren't Saber's after all. (Not true)

Archer seemed to be resigned, or at least, accepting of my decision.

"Even if that life will end on the hill of salt?"

"...Yeah. Even if that life is dripping with my salty tears. I'll keep spending more on Quartz."

So I tapped the screen. A brilliant show of light began converging in front of me!

No way, a five-star on the first try-

-Oh, it's a CE. Kaleidoscope.

It could be worse.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It got worse. Endless Craft Essences. I have just finished my 9th roll, over 270 Quartz spent without even a pathetic 3-Star Saber to show for it.
Of course, I still wouldn't want Saber Gilles, but that's beside the point!
"Fujimaru, stop it, you're not going to get anything!" Lily started hugging me from behind, even though I should be thrilled that a cute girl was hugging me, I couldn't give a damn,
I'm going to beat this Gacha.
"Gudako! Fujimaru! Stop it, you shouldn't hurt yourself anymore."
Asia tried to dissuade me.
"My… my body is made out of quartz!"
"Fuck, she's doing your thing."
Cu Chulainn swore as he glared at EMIYA.
"Why is everyone talking about my "thing"!?"
The red man complained.
"Lord Mage! There are too many black keys on the floor. And OH ALLAH ITS ZOUKEN AGAIN!"
"Calm yourself, my friend. It's just a Craft Essence."
George helps Cursed Arm keeps his composure.
"Salt is my blood and Cash is my body-"
I tapped 10 Summon once again. The usual Black Keys and semi-useless 4* CE was summoned… wait, there's a super bright light covering this room! It looks familiar, like, isn't this the same one that appeared when EMIYA was summoned?!
But, my other 4 Star already came so that means-
"This is what I get for being baited by some kid's voice… but I can tell that this isn't some prank. Well, I'll just get this out there. I'm not qualified to be a Heroic Spirit, I'm just a blacksmith. But I'll help out all I can. In short, I am Muramasa, Sengo Muramasa."
A grumpy expression was on Shirou Emiya's, no, Sengo Muramasa's face.
"YOU!!!"
Archer somehow slipped out of Berserker's grasp and immediately attacked his possessed younger self. Only for Lily to immediately step in and knock him aside with mana burst!
"Are you alright, Mister Muramasa? Eh…"
She was surprised by the way he was looking at her in shock.
"Saber?"
That single word was spoken with something I could only describe as a deep longing tinged with happiness.
"Um, yes. I'm a Saber?"
She answered, oblivious to the implications.
"...Huh, it seems like that kid knows you. Crap, why do I have to deal with all this shit…"
I'll need some popcorn. No, wait. He's a Five-Star. The smile on my face wouldn't leave me for the entire night.
