2 (2) Alaya
The moment Alexander open his eyes, he was bewildered but it returns quickly to his indifferent face. He was greeted by the scent of floral coming from his surroundings. In his sense of sight, he saw another sea of stars whose charm is compared to that of the place from before he came here. As the wind blew by, his entire vision was blocked by blue petals, instinctively, he closes his eyes.
As the wind stop, and opening his eyes once again and he couldn't help but take a deep ass breath and sigh.
'What's with me today, meeting supernatural beings. Is today a special day for these beings?' He complains.
Standing, or more like floating in front of him is a beautiful woman with white-silver hair that reaches to her knees. She wears a one-piece dress that covers her upper body above the breast all the way to her heels. Although the woman was the most beautiful 'person' he has ever seen, what stands out the most is the fact that she has no emotions that he could sense. Making her a cold-ass woman that gazes alone could kill.

But as a young man who hasn't seen a woman for thousands of years, saying he was surprised is an understatement.
"Who are you..." Her words that lack emotion brought him back to reality. "How does a human appear here in the reverse side of the world?"
"That..." With the little amount of time for him to think of an excuse... He couldn't think of anything reasonable and not suspicious.
'The fuck happened to me? I have never been this nervous before a woman, is it because not seeing a woman for eons that made my immunity to female charm worthless? Or does her beauty is that effective? Ugh, God damn it! Get a hold of yourself, Alexander!'
"Well, that's because...".
"I see..." Before Alexander could even talk, her emotionless face has a slight reaction of a surprise but it also disappears quickly.
"Hmm?"
"It appears that your purpose of suddenly appearing here is much more important than I thought. I apologize for the sudden appearance in your presence, our savior." She then pinches the side of her dress then lowers her head.
Alexander was caught by surprise by her sudden treatment. "No, it's ok, could tell me who are you and where Is this place." He somewhat expected that Allan would prepare his background before appearing in this world and he was thankful for that.
"As you wish," she then slowly floated to the ground covered by blue petals. "My name is Alayashiki, the collective unconsciousness of mankind. And this place is the reverse side of the world. It's the layer of the world that retains the laws of the gods. Housing the surviving phantasmal species and divine spirits."

"The collective unconsciousness of mankind, reverse side of the world, Gods, phantasmal species and divine spirits..." Alexander couldn't remember how many times he sighs today but he couldn't help but do so, being drop into a supernatural world shortly after meeting Allan is mentally exhausting.
"I'm guessing that you're already aware of my purpose for coming here?
"Yes, you were sent here by a much higher being than me to defend this universe from a catastrophe," Alexander was again glad that he doesn't have to explain anymore.
"That's right. But If you don't mind me asking, why don't you just deal with them on your own? Since your much more powerful than me."
"If only I have the power to do so, I would gladly eliminate them myself. But as you could see, it's more complicated than that."
"I see, then is there anything that you could provide that will help me in my endeavor?" Alexander, taking some benefits of the situation, asked her.
With the wave of her hand, a bright golden light appears in front of Alexander. As the bright golden light diminishes, what was left was a weird golden key that changes shape every now and then. Reaching for the golden key, but before Alexander could even touch it... It flew into his chest, disappearing before he could even grab it.
"That was the Key of the King's Law, Bab-ilu, the key to the Treasury of the king of heroes, Gilgamesh. As long as you have this key inside you, you will have full access to his treasury. I will transfer the ownership of this key to you. Use it however you wish, however, I will seal most of its full power due to you are not its rightful owner, you have to gain its trust before you could use its full potential." she said with a hint of concern in her voice.
'Gilgamesh?' Although, he is not very knowledgeable about the heroes of the past, Gilgamesh is one of the names that always stand out among the rest of the heroes. In his world, 'The Epic of Gilgamesh' is the oldest and earliest surviving notable literature. It's very popular in his world that even he, who has no interest in history knows about it.
And the way Alaya talks about him, he is a very powerful being in this world.
"Then what about Gilgamesh? Would he be mad that you stole his key and give 'place' it inside me?"
"With his personality, yes, he would be angry. Perhaps even develop hatred towards you. But you don't have to worry about him, he is long dead and his soul is on the throne of heroes."
After hearing everything she said. He couldn't help but drop a sweat. A powerful king of the past who has hatred towards you is no laughing matter. "I have to be careful about this,"
"There is one more thing I have to give you before you start your journey," Again, with the wave of her hand, the same bright golden light that appears in front of him. To his surprised, this time instead of a key, it was a golden cup.
"That is the 'True Holy Grail', the main purpose of its existence is that it allows you to have a temporary connection to 'root',"
"The 'root'?"
"It's a very complicated thing if I were to summarize for what it is, it's the source of all events and phenomena in this universe,"
"I see, then could you please tell me what it uses?"
"The moment you build the connection between you and the Root using the Grail. It will give you the authority to summon servants from the throne of heroes indefinitely as long as you have the proper mana for the ritual, other than that, it also has further uses for you to discover."
"I see, I apologize for asking too many questions, but what are servants and the throne of heroes?"

With nothing better to do, he walks in a random direction hoping to find a human civilization. While walking for a couple of minutes he heard a female robotic voice that made him remember something.

Alexander stared at the white panel in shocked. Rereading them once again to make sure what he is seeing is true or not.

"You have a feminine voice so... Let's name you Sis. No wait that sounds retarted(*ehem, Jk I love EPIC* ). Let's just go with Anna, easy to pronounce and remember."

Mentally preparing for the incoming pain, after a few seconds he felt a sting in his head.
"Hey, that wasn't so bad... ARRRGGGHH,"
After a minute of intense pain. The pain slowly disappear and was replaced by memories or more like information regarding the basic history of this world and its phenomena.
"The hell do you mean slightly pain, Anna. That was torture."
Alexander may be a serial killer but believe it or not, he has a weakness to pain. Call him a pussy or whatnot, but the pain he experiences in that one minute is something he never wants to experience again.
"(Forgive me, Anna has only supernatural beings to based on, for them, this type of pain is nothing more than a sting. I didn't know that slight pain to the soul will hurt so much for you)"
'Is she mocking me?!'

With the new knowledge, Alexander gain from the memories Alaya left for him. He knows now where Chaldea is and slowly walks in that direction...
