14 (14) Returning

Everyone's eyes widened excluding Alexander and Tamamo who cutely tilts her head in confusion.

"More or less," Alexander casually shrugged.

Seeing their easy-going attitude, the tension that builds up bursts like a bubble.

"It appears that you are a master yourself, Alexander. Another surprise I suppose. Well, it won't matter, you will all die in the end."

"L-lev? Lev! You're alive! Thank goodness, I don't know what will I do without you! Now that your alive, I won't have to worry about Chaldea." Like a dependent child, she run-up to Lev like a little girl who hasn't seen her parents in a long time.

Before she takes the first step toward Lev, Alexander grabs her by the wrist, stopping her.

"What are doing? let me go!"

She tried to put on a tantrum but his penetrating gaze is enough to shut her up.

"Olga, you seem well. Looking at your rough appearance, it seems that you are having a hard time."

"Yes, Yes! That's right, Lev! The command room blew up! Chaldea is in chaos right now. That's why you will help me, right, Lev? With you here, everything will be alright, right? That's how it always been. So you will help me, won't you?"

Seeing the state of their director, Mash, and Ritsuka grit their teeth as they glared at Lev with hate. Lev matches his own with a more sinister smile. He is clearly enjoying the scene in front of him.

"Sorry, my mistake. you are not actually alive. You are dead, well, at least not too long ago."

"What do you mean?" Alexander calmly asked.

"Trismegistus thoughtful transfer you into this singularity after you died. You had no aptitude while you were alive, right? You can't teleport while you have a physical body."

"...!!" Olga's eyes widened even more when she realized what he was trying to say.

And just Alexander wanted, Lev continues to talk more of his purpose and plan like your typical villain.

With the wave of his hand, the space behind him becomes distorted as a miniature size of earth appeared. The once blue size planet now is bright red.

Before he let Lev continue, he gently covered Olga's ears to prevent her from hearing the rest of his taunting.

Unfortunately, even with Alexander covering her ears, she was able to understand what he's trying to convey. At this point, she doesn't care anymore what Lev has to say. All of her focus is on the warmth and security that basks her. It reminds her so much of her father that her eyelids become heavy. All tension, stress, and fear that build-up for years finally caught up to her. She felt secure in the hands of the man that is holding her so she didn't bother fighting the drowsiness as she let her eyes close and smile for maybe the last time...

Watching this, Lev becomes irritated. He wants to see to despair of the girl he once respected. But seeing the smile on her delicate face made him furious. He wants nothing more than to crush that face of hers.

"Oh, how I wish I could smash that face of yours, Marie..." He said viciously, he then looks toward the face of the man that held her, "Alexander, you are by far the most mysterious person I ever met. As one of the demon gods, your existence is one that made us curious about you. Our leader is intrigued by you. So be grateful, mortal. Our leader wants to invite you to join us. So join our cause as we will destroy humanity and create it new! you will be the first to witness the new era!"

The more he talked the more his voice becomes deeper and deeper as a red aura emits from his body that bends space around them. The oxygen in the air seems to disappear which caused big trouble for Alexander and the others.

Everyone in the vicinity was slowly being press to the ground. To counter, Alexander activates his skill, (Will of the King). Thanks to that, Mash, Ritsuka, and Tamamo were given some space to breathe once again and gain their strength back to resist the pressure.

As the two forces collide, one being red and one being black, the mountain once again started to shake...

"I have no interest in your stupid cause."

Although he said those words casually, the power behind them is enough for "Lev" to hear them.

"Is that so, that's unfortunate..."

His twisted face becomes calm once again as he stops emitting pressure. Alexander followed his lead as he deactivates his skill. What he didn't foresee is an unknown force pulling his body towards the miniature earth. No, it not him who's it's pulling, but the sleeping woman in his arms. He used his servant parameters to resist the gravity but it's not enough to completely stop his body from being dragged along...

He summons Gáe Bolg and stabs it on the ground. His companions notice his weird behavior and inquire him about it.

""Alex/master?! what's the matter?""

"What's happening?" He felt an ominous feeling the more he got closer and closer to the miniature Earth, "Hey, Romani, what will happen if to Olga if she were to touch that floating thing?"

("It's targeting the director?!) His usual calm voice now was in a state of panic.

"Will something bad happen?"

Alexander's face turns grim.

"You, letting me live? do you think you have the power to take my life away from me? You mongrel."

Veins bulge on Lev's forehead, being called a mongrel by a mortal is outrageous. To his anger, large tentacles appear on his back. Alexander immediately summons his maximum number of portals the moment he saw them.

Lev was surprised as more than 50 golden portals appear behind Alexander.

"I have a feeling that you are just more than human, but I didn't expect that you, of all people, will be a master and Demi-servant at the same time. Oh, how I truly regret not killing you early."

Alexander doesn't bother exchanging words with him as he started to feel the force that is pulling Olga is becoming stronger and stronger as each second passes by. If didn't do anything to stop it, it will be a matter of time before the force beat him in the tug of war. And seeing Olga being devoured by Chaldeas is the last thing he wants to see right now.

And the source of all that trouble is that disgusting man right there.

Each second was precious so immediately went for the attack. He summons 50 rank B weapons he could find in the treasury and fired them at Lev. Since all of them are B rank weapons, each of them has different NP that is destructive.

Some of the weapons' NP utilizes the forces of nature like fire, wind, or lighting.

Lev protects himself by wrapping his whole body using his tentacles. The tentacles have an extremely high defensive power, B rank weapons aren't enough to damage it, at most, it would leave marks but that will be it.

But even if the tentacles have high defensive capabilities, they won't last long facing continuously being bombarded by B-rank weapons.

Lev grit his teeth to lessen the pain he is experiencing. The tentacles are a part of him so all the pain it's experiencing will transfer to him. Lev tried for an assault, but Alexander didn't give him any breathing space as he continues the barrage.

It's unfortunate, he could easily use the power of the grail but he already used most of its mana.

His only remaining choice right now is retreat. Not wanting to stay there any longer, he used the smoke as a cover and open a portal using the power of the grail. Hesitating, his eyes seem to pierce the smoke and glance at Alexander one last time before jumping in the portal. And the portal that connects the singularity and Chaldea also disappears with him and the space return to normal.

Alexander felt the disappearance of Lev so he halts his bombardment.

While waiting for the smoke to settle down, he called out to Romani, "Lev escaped. Romani, scan the area to make sure he truly disappears."

Hearing the good news, everyone sigh in relief. At this point, everyone's belief and trust in Alexander already went through the roof so they completely believe his words.

("Oh, h-he did? That's a relief. Leave it to me...")

Although Alexander has trust when it comes to his instinct, he still wants Romani to double-check for him since their lives are on the line here.

("Scanning complete, no other entities are found. You guys are safe-")

Seeing Alexander gently putting Olga on the casket made Tamamo a bit envious. After this whole thing is done, she will make sure to spend time a long time with her master, she silently thought.

"Romani, is it done yet?"

"Then do it."

Closing the lid on the casket, he ordered the casket to return to the treasury. He watches as it slowly dissipates along with the body of Olga.

Everyone started to dissipate as they watch their surrounding started to change. Alexander glance where Lev disappears for the last time with a vicious glint in his eyes.

'Don't let me catch you alive next time we meet, I'll enjoy torturing you Lev Uvall.' (An: Ohhh, how edgy~)

With those disturbing thoughts on Alexander's mind, he and his companions disappear in that place, solving the singularity.
