Chapter 43 - Calm before the Storm 1

In Valper and Siegfried hidden base.

"Why we must wait until tomorrow afternoon to attack Kuoh Gakuen?" Siegfried Asked. "Why not today?"

"Because tomorrow afternoon is the best time to start the union ritual," said Valper. "When the full moon shines the brightest and in the place with a rich magical energy, and the last is the sacrificial virgin maiden. That was necessary condition for starting the ritual."

"I thought the holy sword fusion ritual only required the girl that you kidnapped as a sacrifice for the ritual," said Siegfried.

"The holy sword union ritual is a very complicated magic ritual," said Valper. "It takes more than just a sacrificial virgin girl to start the ritual, Siegfried a moron like you would never understand it. "

Apart from that neither of them have the desire to be a friend.

Issei couldn't feel calm at all, even when the sun had stopped shining and the sky turned dark. Irina and her two colleagues didn't coming home. Issei even prayed all the time for Irina's safety, until Issei felt that if he only praying and not taking some action, His heart will never calm. So he decided to look Irina by himself. Even when his body was in a bad condition right now, Issei won't stop searching until he can find his missing girlfriend.

Griselda and the fainted Xenovia accompanied by Shirou to the Emiya's residence, with Irina has been kidnapped it was impossible for the two of them to return to Hyoudou residence.

Plus Griselda didn't know what she had to say to Issei and Miki about the disappearance of Irina, if both of them returned to the Hyoudou residence.

After all, there is another reason why Shirou bring the two of them to Emiya's residence, to ask Asia healing Xenovia wound.

"I'm home," said Shirou.

When Saber, Kuro, Illya and Asia heard Shirou voices the four of them immediately run to the front door.

"Welcome home Shirou," said Saber.

"Aah, welcome home Onii-chan!" Kuro said while she jumped towards Shirou and then hugged his body.

"Shirou-san welcome home," said Asia.

"Kuro!" Shouted Illya who is jealous to Kuro because Kuro suddenly hugged Shirou. "Don't hug Onii-chan like that!"

"Onii-chan is mine," Kuro said. "So it's only natural that I hugged him like this!"

"How dare you!" Illya said, tugging Kuro's body to make Kuro release her embrace from Shirou's body. "Onii-chan is not yours Kuro! So stop hugging my Onii-chan!"

"I don't wanna, beeeeeeeee!" said Kuro sticking out her tongue to Illya.

Shirou, who didn't want his two little sister fighting, finally decide to stop the fight between Illya and Kuro.

"Illya! Kuro that's enough! You're embarassing us! We have a guests, you know!"

Illya and Kuro finally realized that Shirou didn't came home alone. Same with Asia and Saber because the four of them were too focused on Shirou's arrival.

And they realized that Shirou guest was two woman, one of the woman was wearing a nun's clothes, and the nun carrying another girl that have a blue hair on her back.

Saber remembered about Xenovia and Griselda, because she already seeing them in Kuoh Gakuen. So Saber didn't have any strange thoughts about Shirou. She just think that Shirou bring the two of them home with him because they didn't have a place to stay.

Same with Asia, she recognized Griselda and Xenovia, because Asia already met both of them once at the Vatican.

But unlike Saber and Asia, Illya and Kuro didn't know about Griselda and Xenovia. So for Kuro and Illya, Griselda and Xenovia is a thieving cat who want to stole their Onii-chan.

Because of that the two of them thinking about a lot of bad thing they can do to Griselda and Xenovia cause they dare to stole Shirou from them.

"Before the two of you accuse me wrongly, l just want to say that, the two girls behind me are just my guests," Shirou who really understood Illya and Kuro's way of thinking chose to speak first before the two of them accused him with something he didn't do.

"W-we haven't said anything, Onii-chan," said Illya with a lot of cold sweat in her cheek. "And we didn't want accuse you anything."

"Oh you're so cruel Onii-chan," Kuro said with a fake tears on her eyes. "Illya and I are your beloved little sister right? There is no way we will accuse Onii-chan having some affair with those two women!"

"Then Kuro what the thing you just say," said Shirou. "Aren't the words you say just now is accusing me."

"Oh my, I blurted out!" Kuro said while covering her mouth with both of her hands.

"I say it once again the two of them is only a guests," said Shirou. "So Illya, Kuro stop you're wrong thinking!"

"Okay," said Kuro and Illya while lowering their heads.

"Shirou, why did you bring the two Exorcists from the Vatican to this house?" Asked Saber.

Griselda immediately knew who is the girl that talking to Shirou just now, that girl was Arturia Pendragon! Because Arturia displayed an elegance aura that no ordinary human possessed. Griselda felt a little nervous, right because the King Arthur from the legend are un front of her right now.

"They didn't have a place to stay," replied Shirou. "And one of them was injured, that's why I decided to bring them here because I thought Asia could heal her wounds."

"A-Asia you said," said Griselda. "Do you mean Asia Argento !?"

"Yeah, that's right," said Shirou. "The yellow haired girl standing next to Kuro is Asia Argento a former nun from the Vatican, do you know her Sister Griselda?"

"There's no way I didn't recognize Asia the holy maiden," said Griselda while looking at Asia. "It's just a lot of things has going on before, making unaware of her existence."

"I-it's okay Sister Griselda," said Asia. "Actually I didn't notice you either because I was too focused on Shirou-san."

"Then Sister Griselda, now come with me I will show you where you will sleep together with Xenovia," said Shirou.

"Very well," said Griselda. "I really thank you Emiya-san for bringing me and Xenovia to your house."

"No problem," said Shirou. "Besides, my mother Irisviel already give her permission for you and Xenovia-san to stay here, when I asked her on the phone."

Sella, Lizz and Irisviel peeked from the living room they curious about the commotion near the front door.

"Ara ara Shirou calling me earlier and said that he would bring a guests to stay overnight," said Irisviel. "But I didn't think the guest would be a woman."

"They are quite strong," Lizz said. "Also their magical energy is bigger than ordinary people."

"Our new guest are some Exorcist from the Vatican," Sella said. "Madam, is okay to accept them as a guest in our house?"

"It's not a problem," said Irisviel. "The two of them only will stay for one night."

Xenovia injured was quite bad after having two battles and her injury finally treated by Asia, and currently Xenovia is sleeping in the guest room.

Griselda really didn't expect that she could see Asia at the Emiya residence, she regretted Vatican decision expelling Asia, just because Asia treated the wound of some injured devil.

Outside the guest room, right after Asia finished treating Xenovia.

"I have healed all of her wounds," said Asia. "Right now she just needs some rest."

"Thank goodness," Griselda said. "Xenovia is really a reckless girl. And on behalf of the Vatican I apologize to you Asia Argento. What the Vatican has done to you is truly shameful. "

"I don't have any grudge against the Vatican, Sister Griselda," said Asia. "It's my own fault for having a habit being to excessive in helping people, and because my character is like this, I often get into a trouble."

"Still, what Vatican did to you was wrong," said Griselda.

"Sister Griselda Vatican has it own rules," Asia said. "And I broke those rules, so when I was kicked out of the Vatican, I don't have any regret."
