First thing Araskai noticed after opening his eyes was black night sky. He glanced at the moon. He wasn't a master in survival, and definitely he was not an astrologer. So he couldn't quite tell the exact timer from just looking at the moon…

Reluctantly, Araskai tilted his head, looking around. It lay on the coast of a small island. At least that's what it looked like. Slow, calm waves hit his body every now and then. And he could tell that temperature, even at night, was higher than he was used to.

He sat up, and tried to process what he just saw. Was it reality? Was it just his brain playing with him? Hallucinations?

No… It all seems too real to be just hallucination…

But… He had a strange feeling… Like… There was more Air in oxygen than before? And that there was something else, all around him… But he couldn't quite wrap his head around what it was. Maybe just his imagination?

He himself was a bit surprised how well he took the fact that he is probably reincarnated. Because what else could happen? He's alive after death. He is sure it is not heaven. Nor hell.

He stands up. His body was a bit sore, and his movements seemed a bit awkward. He took a step forward, and noticed that he was naked. And his skin was brighter than he was used to, even at night. He felt the need to check one thing. He looked down. Yeah, he is still a man… He felt stupid for checking that but also a bit relieved.

After stretching a bit, he found out that his new body is more nimble and agile than his original one.

He looked down at the water reflection… It wasn't his body that looked at him… Well, it was, but not an old one. He did predicted that his body would be different from the fact that his skin color was different, but it still felt a bit weird.

His new body seems Girlish. He had hard time telling if he's male or female from looking at his reflection. His eyes were light green, and his hair was white and reached his shoulder.

He wasn't sure how tall he was exactly, but if he had to guess, he would say that he is shorter than he was in previous life. He would give himself 170 cm or so. (I've got no idea how much that is in feet. Goggle it up or something)

As he got his new appearance in mind, he started exploring the island… And he was a bit disappointed. It was a small island, with a small grove and no human settlement… He was alone on a small, deserted island…

"Fuck…"

He couldn't hold himself and cursed softly under his breath…

What now?

Araskai sat on the grass and started thinking. What was at his disposal? Wood. Leaves. Grass… Dirt… And that's nothing…

But he can't just stay on that island! He will starve! Making a raft? No, he doesn't have any ropes… Then what…

Swim? Yeah, he'll drown. He doesn't know what direction he should swim to, and how long it would take…

Hmm, but what could he do at this exact moment? It's night… He decided to lay down and go to sleep. Not because he was tired. But just so he would build a healthy day and night cycle. And so he would be full of energy when he needs to be. During a day…

With that, he felt asleep

No idea how that went. I tried to introduce his appearance, and tried to make entry to story. I've got no idea what to do from now on, it is just one great improvisation.

Again, i would be glad for any comments, suggestions, criticism and any form of response at all.

Oh, i also did some research and it seems that im not first one to get that idea. Fate/Defiance by TheMadLad. I will take some inspirations from him, for example argonauts. They do not got recognition they deserve. And Tale of Argonauts is one of my favorites in Greek Mythology.
