Jeanne D'Arc, a figure of legend, a woman of God that fought for her people, kind and compassionate with a good heart and near unparalleled beauty. Was it so wrong then that one would feel attracted to her? Not that Lucas Blanc had truly known that, he'd just grown up alongside her as a childhood friend after losing his life prior in his early teens. He'd spent his days hoping that the name was but a coincidence, alas, it seemed fate had other plans in mind. Despite apprehensiveness regarding her cause, once made aware of the cruel nature of their rulers, Lucas joined her all the same. Unable to watch on idly. Unable to accept the fairness he himself had to deal with. He fought and bled, lost those he called friends and killed those he called enemies, surrendered what he thought were one-sided feelings and desires for the 'cause'. A ruthless soldier who would achieve victory no matter the means. Till his last, he fought and suffered, dying in the hands of a love unspoken till his final breath. Now, summoned to once more fight a war in an age he'd long forgotten, would Lucas act upon what he desired or leave things as they were? Attempt to attain a life HE desired now that the opportunity had presented itself?
