13 CHOOSING THE FAMILIARS

The 6 month has pass since I summon rose.

I originally plan to summon second servant now but I change the thought. Now I plan to summon it when I get 14 year old.

In past month rose and me has get somewhat close. I like her a lot she has quite behavior and fun to talk with. She is also a quite the rune master. Thanks to her now i can make complex runes on my creation so they can continuously exist as well has great power than before.

I hide her existence from my parents.

At the end of month come. I was summoned by grandpa and order to go to familiar forest to get a familiar. Luckily, all the official heir of 72 pillar families are not guided in familiar forest. The heir has to find the familiar himself in forest without any guidance.

It was in my favor so I along with rose go to familiar forest on full moon night.

I actually plan to let rose have familiar for herself.

In familiar forest

Rose and I was going forward in search of suitable familiar suddenly we heard the roar and eagle cry.

"Rose lets go toward it!"

Rose nod and we make way toward

When we reach there we see the huge purple dragon fighting against the golden eagle.

The purple dragon was shooting the purple lighting toward golden eagle while golden attack purple dragon by throwing golden lighting.

The intense battle was going on.

We were hiding in near bushes. Rose and I look toward each other and point my hand toward eagle and she nod in understanding.

So Rose attack the dragon while I attack the eagle.

I summon all nearly 50 flying sword and let them attack the golden eagle.

The golden eagle cease fighting with purple dragon and attack me with golden lighting.

I doge his attack and line up my 10 swords into line and attack the eagle.

So the fight continue for about 10 minutes and at end golden eagle get defeated and agree to become my familiar.

After familiar pact the mysterious symbol appear on my arm whereas same mysterious symbol appear on head of golden eagle as sign of success of pact.

After getting my familiar I turn toward rose. And see that the purple dragon has become obedient as dog turn her.

The first thing come to my mind

"Dam... I forget she the god killer"

I notice that there is no symbol on purple dragon as sign of familiar pact

"Rose why haven't you make him your familiar?"

You forgetting I am heroic spirit, not a devil so I don't need familiar for now. So I decided to take this dragon as my mount.

I nod with difficult expression as no one in this world has dragons as here there mounts.

"Let go home rose"

Rose nod

We both get teleported out of familiar forest.

After coming out I show my familiar to father.

He has shocked expression and I ask

"What happen?"

"You are one hell of a lucky guy you know that?" (Father)

"Why?"

"The familiar you have is one of most rare type of familiar. It can attack your enemies alone and can also act as your mount. Moreover you can change its size as your wish. In future, when he develop full consciousness then he can talk with you then you can also use it as scout and spy." (Father)

"Oh I see…"

Seeing my unbothered expression. Father sigh.

"My son, keep your familiar a secret until you think you are strong enough."

I nod and left.
