It's the same old same old plot. OP FL reborn into a useless and ugly body with her POS family who are trash asf. OP ML with an out of this world beauty who is hands off to other women except for (you've guessed it!) the FL yada yada Cue music: πΆ Mamma Mia, here I go again My my, how can I resist you? πΆ Naaaaaah who am kidding? I can't resist storylines like this kekeke! Especially when the antagonists discovers how our FL turned out to be an unmatched, peerless beauty with a power/skill that is beyond them. Ooooohhh the satisfaction baby! π But it's weird though because I only like this kind of plot in a historical setting. Put this in a modern setting and I seem to have an aversion to it. What kind of biased taste is this I wonder? π

I don't think this novel should be translated. Although I understand the ML, and from a realistic perspective, he isn't necessarily in the wrong, I still don't think he is suited to be the ML for being overly disdainful of the MC. He is also abusive and just goddamn rude. The story drags on the MC's growth in power, and every character is insufferable to the point of annoyance. I have read until chapter 100 from the raws, and I do not like the progression of the novel at all. There's conditional treatment to open the ring, the MC takes ages to recover her appearance and cultivation talent. The ML falls for her because of her recovered appearance and talent. I just find this a little unsettling. This novel isn't worth it, don't pick it.
For some reason I really donβt like the ML... He agreed to make the FL as his chess piece but he is not smart about it... All I can say is he is arrogant and too full of himself... 4 of his fiancΓ©es have died and he had no clue if it was intentional or purely coincidence... I read the whole 60 chapters to see if there is any improvement but thereβs none...
The MC is strong, smart and awesome and she has a loyal and sweet servant. These 2 characters are the only redeeming things in this story. The family is opressively cruel. The ML has no redeeming qualities so far. His is a dirtbag with a rotton guard. It's just depressing and after 30 odd chapters, I have given up reading. I know she is going to become this gorgeous and brilliant character and the ML is going to see that she is a treasure and blah blah blah. But based on the first meeting with him, I dislike him and do not want her to be with him. I would rather he be a red herring and she end up with someone else. The only thing I would want to happen is for her to literally set fire to her family home so everyone dies and for the ML to die in battle and for her to go off and do whatever. There is no intrigue or anything to grab my attention. The "special" Phoenix ring has an annoying guardian that can't come out until she heals a certain amount of people. But with a bland character, no motivation to achieve that and just a general lack of interest in the ring character means it doesn't seem to matter.
So, the reason for the low rating ;- 1. Lets talk about the character design based on 30+ chapters, idk but i get the feeling that author don't really spend more time for details...its too typical and not to mention that its too predictable. Its a common pattern. 2. The translation quality is tbh below average (i mean not bad but okay but not up to standard, do you understand what i mean?)...i don't think that this translation do the story justice at all...i'm sorry translator.....but its the truth as i get the 'childish'(?) feeling from the translation(idk if its just me)...Put more effort *Fighting!* 3. The world design is like bold 'TYPICAL'....its not a new concept/theme....the same template used by Female MC's novel authors....i guess a long time reading and i get tired/bored reading this kind of repetitive concept...a constant cycle of 'assasin @ doctor @ whatever godly being u are' female MC
Translation quality takes a huge dive after chapter 300, don't waste your time reading. The story itself is alright, but the chapters are super short and everything takes forever to happen. The ML is the typical super-strong iceberg guy, but with the addition of being needlessly cruel. Basically, he makes a terrible first impression and I think a reader would be pretty justified in hating him. After 100s of chapters, his relationship with the FL gets *a little* better, but not much, and he constantly is saying and doing things to remind you that he's a super violent, cold, generally merciless person, and he often behaves that way towards the FL - which isn't great. Anyway, by chapter 300 their relationship is still pretty terrible. The upside is that the MC becomes slightly stronger and in a slightly more equal position by then. Unfortunately, that's when the translation quality takes the aforementioned nosedive, and the story doesn't really feel worth reading anymore.
I really want to hate the male lead! But after thinking it through, I changed my mind. I guess I got used to the female leads that transmigrates and gets all the cheats and men falling all over them. This story is different. She is really going through it. Even though she came with a cheat system but that one is not even helping out.π This looks like it will be an interesting read. I just hope her suffering would not be prolonged. I read these stories to escape Covid-19 and real life shiiit. I canβt bear to read much suffering again.
It's the typical cliche story you read a hundred times already. The MC is one dimensional. Any side characters are just props with no distinct features. The ML is unlikable. The author tries to put the MC in bad situations so they can get that dramatic face slap, but it falls flat. The situations are way too forced with side characters having the IQ of a wet paper bag. Overall it's meh.
Be careful before buying the entire novel. The story starts well and it's an interesting cast and story, and the translation is fine, but around the chapter 300 the translation quality has a huge drop. It looks like something that was using machine translation since the names change and the writing doesn't really make sense anymore. It's bad enough that I just stop reading it.
I don't know why... I read most of the novel with rebirth, reincarnation and transmigration, but this one is quite frustrated. ML is an annoying freak and only care about pretty and hateful of ugly and dirty. As of chapters 116, he is still quite annoying, totally self-centre, super arrogant and unreasonable sometimes. And what's this, he took money from MC to saved it for her and said that she need to come to him if she need it and need to see his mood as well. When she came for it, he asked her what does she need money for? She said she need for cleaning pills to clean the poison in her body in order to cultivate. Then he asked her for reason??? OMG....I'm seriously going to dropped this, I couldn't stand anymore. I read the spoiler that he will come to like her when she's pretty and strong. Gosh, get out of my way. I prefer a random character than this ML. Also his bodyguards are quite rude as hell, the same attitude as his master. Always suspicious and and want to kill MC. About MC Family, totally brainless and just plain villain with no character or whatever. The only people I like here are MC, Mc loyal servant and that AN prince..(the one who called MC feather). Others are bullsh!t. The ML here is so hateful not likeable at all, control freak and cleanliness freak, and arrogant @ssh0le.
This book is really good! Im super happy because it has alot of things i like in comics, and novels. Drama, romance, action. This book is amazing! Whoever sees this, i'm telling you, this book is gooood. Like goooooooooood LOL thats wy i give this book a full stars for everything. This book is perfect!!
