10 Heavenly Beast of the North & Training

~Next Morning~

*CRASH*

*THUD*

Waking up with a start, Ryker noticed the world seemed to be spinning as he suddenly felt an impact on his back. A result of him colliding with the floor.

Quickly regaining his bearings, he sat up from the floor and began to survey his surroundings, still slightly out of it having just exited the land of dreams.

Around him was a familiar room, one which belonged to the women he loved, Iris. To his right, stood a crib which belonged to iris' six month old baby Illya, who he viewed as his daughter. Lastly to his front, was the bed in which he had just been peacefully sleeping on with Iris, now in shambles.

The bed looked as if someone dropped something abnormally heavy on it. The middle section was caved in, the supports broken and cracked, even the flooring underneath showed signs of damage, which was shocking to say the least, seeing as how the floor in Iris' room was made from durable stone, reinforced with magic.

Within the caved in central area of the bed, a lump could be seen. Ryker assumed that said lump was most likely the cause of all the mayhem first thing in the morning.

Standing to his feet, Ryker made his way over to the utterly destroyed bed, when he heard a strange noise suddenly sound out from the abnormal lump.

It sounded as if it was a mix between a groan and a whimper.

Looming over the bed, Ryker was prepared for whatever was to come as he slowly reached for the lump, ready to remove the blankets and pillows which obscured the possible monstrosity which lurked underneath the covers.

Said covers which were eerily reminiscent of a cage.

A cage in which either serve to keep the beast in, or other people out…

Yet just before his hand reached the cage…the covers shifted, startling Ryker as he quickly pulled back his hand…yet it was too late!

As the blankets moved, a long white tail covered in white scales with red tips, was revealed to the world. The tail quickly whipped at Ryker and wrapped itself around his arm, latching onto him tightly with its abnormally strong vice like grip.

Ryker, fearing for his life realized he couldn't move. It was as if a mysterious force held him in place. Feeling a strange yet overwhelming sense of pressure wash over him, he began to question in his mind, 'I've felt this once before…this presence…it's the presence of death!'

Slowly the covers moved once more.

This time to reveal two large, white, leather like wings covered in what looked like soft feathers with red tips, which matched the tail still gripping Ryker's arm.

The wings, which were prior to this bundled up under the covers, unfurled. They batted up and down, creating a powerful gust of wind.

Ryker was all to familiar with this beast, as its head reared itself, clearly in anger, in his direction, now free from the confines of its cage (blankets).

The beast suddenly snapped its powerful jaw, outfitted with ferocious teeth, in his direction.

It growled as it spoke.

"Ryker~!! Dear~!! You're not thinking rude thoughts are you!!" The beas…I MEAN…Iris grumbled as she pouted, her face showing a mixture of mock anger and exasperation at the fact that her love was making fun of her appearance.

"Hehe, sorry angel I just couldn't help myself but tease you. You need to quickly learn how to control your strength so we don't need to get a new bed every night."

The duo were precisely Ryker and Iris, the latter of whom, responsible for the destruction of the bed which sent the former, barreling to the ground during his sleep.

Before the ritual the previous night, Ryker had been researching many different powers and bloodlines in which he could possible give to Iris.

He knew that he needed one that possessed a high level of regeneration capabilities, which was his first concern when choosing the power. He could, by making use of his [Maker of Gods] skill, give Iris a regeneration ability directly, however, Ryker didn't want to just give her a mismatch of different powers, not to even mention the fact that the powers might not suit her.

An example of this would be giving Iris a Troll Heart. Although it would give her a rather ridiculously high regeneration ability. It wouldn't suit her, reducing the effect of the ability and even causing side effects somewhere along the line.

He wanted Iris to grow stronger, strong enough to be able to spend eternity with him. Yet to do so, she needed strength.

So the solution he came up with, was to give her a powerful bloodline which not only suited her, but was also unique to her so that she could make it her own strength rather then borrowed strength.

(Author's Note: Yes she is technically 'borrowing' the power from Ryker, but he doesn't see it that way. Its natural for him to help out the women he loves in his opinion.)

There were many bloodlines that suited her thanks to her being a homunculus. Yet what Ryker was looking for was a bloodline which had the potential to even become a god. It needed to possess high regeneration abilities and suit Iris, who was a rather childish, and greedy person, yet at the same time, being mature and willing to sacrifice anything for those she loved.

These two different personality traits led him to two answers.

Dragons and Angels.

Dragons are often known for being greedy and powerful, possessing a nearly un-killable level of regeneration.

Angels on the other hand, were kind and gentle beings, wielding formidable healing magic, who often act as martyr for their beliefs.

Ryker believed Iris shared similar traits to both of these bloodlines, even being able to use healing magic to a high level. Yet he was unable to pick between them.

So he decided to use both.

He fused the two bloodlines into Iris during the ritual and it was an even larger success then he was expecting.

Iris shortly after the rituals conclusion, grew a tail similar to that of a dragons, and wings that were similar to what one would see on an angel, yet being vastly more 'sharp' and 'defined' due to mixing with the dragon blood.

Her healing magic experienced a drastic increase in not only potency but potential as well.

Well the outsides of her body didn't change aside from the new appendages. The inside of her body was a different story.

Due to Iris' organs fusing with the grail, Ryker literally needed to 'take' them 'out' of her body. His abilities allowed him to do this quite easily but she needed to be able to regrow new ones even faster then he took them out.

Yet, after removing the grail infested organs, the organs which regrew thanks to her dragon bloodline, were anything but ordinary.

Iris' organs, blood, veins, five senses, as well as her parameters, all received a huge increase in strength and vitality.

If one was able to view ones lifeforce as an external glow, then Iris' would look like a sun compared to a normal humans dim lightbulb like glow.

Yet it wasn't all positives.

Due to her body experiencing a complete change on all fronts, it would take time for her to adapt to her new body, and power.

Which is what lead to many instances of broken, furniture, dishes and one Ryker.

Ryker had never been happier about the fact the he had such high parameters then he was at this moment. As he was often forced to suffer the backlash of Iris' lack of control.

She had once, not long after her changes set it, given him a hug only to break both of his arms. The reason for this was, of course, that Ryker himself was not enhancing his body in any way. So although his passive parameters were in effect effectively saving his life, Ryker himself was not on guard.

If he was on guard, Iris wouldn't be able to hurt him, but that didn't mean her new strength should be underestimated. As if his position had been swapped with Saber, for example, she would have been crushed and turned into particles of light in an instant. Under the condition she was not on guard against Iris' 'attack'.

Ryker theorized that it shouldn't take long for Iris to adapt to her new body, and they would even be able to speed up the process by training.

Which is exactly what they had planed on doing for the day.

So Ryker after pacifying the little angel, a nickname which now had taken on a whole new meaning, lifted her up into his arms, with her new tail firmly wrapped around his waist, and wings tucked in slightly.

Although she couldn't control her strength, Iris had been able to quickly move her new appendages, as if it came instinctively to her.

One thing she liked to do, was to wrap her tail around his body.

She had claimed that it felt like the most comfortable position for her to put it in. Yet Ryker was anything but comfortable, as the vice like grip coming from the tail made him constantly on guard. All it took was one slip up, of him lowering his guard against to deadly tail and it would literally squeeze him in half.

After instructing the maids to clean up and look after Illya. Ryker and Iris, entered the forest for their morning sparing session. Something which Ryker planed to make a routine until she got control of her strength.

Reaching their destination, Ryker placed Iris back down onto the ground, resulting in a small crater roughly 20 feet wide around them. Needless to say, neither of them were shocked at this point and quickly acted as if it had never happened.

"Okay Iris, time to start the training. With you possessing a mix of both Dragon as well as Angel bloodlines within you now, I've been thinking that the best style of combat for you to adopt would be similar to that of a combat medic." Ryker said slowly as he addressed Iris like that of a teacher to a student.

"Combat medic? I can get the basic idea from the name but what does it mean exactly?" Iris questioned.

Thinking over the words he wanted to say for a moment, Ryker answered confidently, "You possess the physical parameters that would put even some servants to shame, yet at the same time, due to the Angel Bloodline, you have a very high affinity to healing magic and defensive spells. This means that you could either act as a frontline fighter, or a backline support.

I think it would be best to combine the two and adapt your fighting style to that of a defensive warrior, who makes use of their flight ability to maneuver around the battlefield healing and supporting allies.

When I had seen your stats I for some reason pictured you as a Valkyrie, flying through the air above the battlefield slaying foes, yet also protecting your allies."

Ryker finished with an expectant look in his eyes. Just imagining Iris with her long white hair, and angel like wings, flying through the battlefield while wearing golden armor like that of a knight, and wielding a massive sword and shield like they were weightless sent shivers down his back.

Although the image may have scared him slightly, at the same time he couldn't help but feel happy knowing that she would be able to protect herself.

"I see, that does sound nice!" Little did Ryker know Iris was thinking the exact opposite.

'Now I can be of help to Ryker during fights! I don't need to be a burden to him, and I can even protect him! Hehehe…'

Ryker and Iris ended up spending the rest of the day training.

Aside from short breaks to eat lunch, and at times when Ryker needed to help explain something for Iris. The rest of the time was spent sparing, as Iris learned how to better control her abilities.

Time passed quickly in this manner and soon a month had past since their training began.

(Author's Note: Hmm did we make a OP Waifu?? Know that Iris isn't really a 'Servant' but she has reached a level where she will be placed onto the Throne of Hero's should she die, thus becoming a 'Servant' if summoned. (Yeah right, like you could kill that...) Anyways know that while she is strong, if she were to duel Saber in a 1v1 she would still loose even if she trains for a while. This is due to combat experience and just general knowledge of your abilities. Iris just got hers and it may take years before she can make good use of everything that's been given to her. Yet even then she may not be able to use everything to its full potential. BUT its okay because she has Ryker so yay for OP Waifu!!)
