The fact of the matter was that it was something few players get to experience, as the probability was like winning the lottery.

Although people posting threads boasting that their pets had evolved could be seen almost every day on the forum, it was only because the game had a large player base. Ever since the release of pets, the number of people who had their pets evolve was less than five percent with the majority of pet evolutions being Normal Grade pets. It was much easier to evolve Normal Grade pets than higher grade ones. Some pets might evolve after a random fight or by eating some random mineral on the roadside.

In comparison, Elite Grade and above pets had less than 0.1% to evolve or advance to the next grade.
