The best feature of the system

"Master, what about this one?" The kitty-cub asked as it showed Da Xia an image of another tree on the digital screen. This time, it was a maple tree.

"Master?" The kitty called its master again when it heard no response from the woman who had been staring at the screen for the past few minutes as it showed her different varieties of trees that were suitable for the bees to build their nest on.

Da Xia finally let out a sigh as she pinched her brows. She was having a hard time believing that she was fooled by a little kitty like this. When she entered the system space a few minutes ago to finally buy a house for the Queen bee and her family, buying a tree was the last thing on her mind.

But again, what was she expecting? Buying a dollhouse for the bees to stay in? That's just ridiculous. She was so focused on earning those three hundred prowess points that she completely ignored the fact that the bees could stay at her house as long as there was a tree.

"I just saw a huge locust tree standing at the edge of our field behind the house. I don't think there's any need for a new tree. The Queen bee and her family can stay there." She told the kitty as she moved toward the screen and clicked on the 'cancel' option.

"Why are you being a miser? You have nearly six hundred prowess points in your account. Why can't you spend three hundred points to buy a spiritual tree for your first-ever contracted familiar? A spiritual tree will not only provide them with spiritual energy but will also protect them. No one other than you will be able to get close to the tree which means no one will steal the honey." The kitty complained to her with a huff as it flapped its wings in frustration.

This was something new that Da Xia had learned. She didn't think about the protection that the bees would be needing and she also had no idea that the trees shown by the system were all spiritual trees.

"Alright. This doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. But I need some time to discuss with my husbands to find a perfect spot to plant such a big tree. I'll talk to them tonight and will buy the tree tomorrow morning. Now, stop making that angry face. It only makes you look cute." She teased the kitty and watched as it rolled its eyes but did stop being angry at her.

"Fine! We will do as you want. Besides, Queen Bee and her family are happy to spend their time here with me. Then, tell me, what do you want now." The kitty asked as it flew to sit on her shoulder while facing the screen.

"You aren't heavy at all." This was the first thing that came out of Da Xia's mouth as soon as she opened it. But again, it wasn't her fault at all. Though it was small in size, the kitty still looked pretty healthy and its large wings carried some weight but in reality, it weighed as light as cotton.

The kitty didn't reply, it just kept staring at the screen and waited for its master to come to her senses and answer the question.

"Can I buy anything from the system's store?" Da Xia finally asked as she stared at the digital screen with interest and curiosity.

"Right. As long as that thing exists in this world, you can buy it from the system's store. But there are some exceptions, like - you can't buy spirit beasts from the system, and any of the forbidden treasures that exist in this world." The kitty replied before it flew toward the screen and started hitting some of the icons before the site of the store popped up on the screen.

"And what about the prices? Are they the same as those in the markets of this world?" Da Xia asked next as she observed the different options that the screen was displaying.

There was an option for groceries, then there was one for fashion, then another one for essentials, the fourth option showed medicines, the fifth option was for spiritual plants and trees, the sixth one was for weapons, and the seventh one was for spiritual gadgets. There was an option even for precious stones and metals.

Da Xia almost felt her head spinning as she stared at the options. This was not what she was expecting. The system was almost like a personal supermarket for her. As long as she had enough prowess points, she could spend the rest of her life in luxury.

"The prices differ with each item. Everything in the system's store is of fine quality which already makes it more expensive than the normal products out there in the markets of this world. But because you are the master here and the system only accepts prowess points, you will find that most of the prices are reasonable." The kitty explained as it clicked on the option of groceries and a new screen appeared in front of their eyes.

Da Xia noticed that the kitty was not lying. The screen showed that a bag of one kilogram of top-quality rice would cost her three prowess points, meaning fifteen copper coins. While one kilogram of coarse rice would only cost her one prowess point, meaning five copper coins.

The same thing she noticed with the veggies and fruits. Their prices also varied according to their quality and quantity and Da Xia found that the prices were neither too high nor too low.

"What a treasure this store is! I think this store is the best feature of the entire system." Da Xia complimented as she clicked on the option of fashion and then moved to browse through men's wear.

She had earned her very first salary in this new world and she wanted to buy some new clothes for her husbands.
