35 Reconciliation Time

Li Jun was the first one to speak as he noticed her standing near the entrance of the house. He didn't waste any time before running toward her and engulfing her in his arms.

"Where have you been the entire day? Do you know how scared we were? We couldn't find you anywhere in the entire village and do you know what was the worst part? We couldn't even ask for help from the villagers." He admitted the fear that had been running through him the entire day as he searched for her. 

Da Xia let her hands wrap around his waist as she rested her head on his chest while taking a deep inhale of his familiar scent that helped her to relax. "I'm sorry, Jun'er. I didn't plan to stay out for such a long time. I planned to return before noon but nothing went according to my plan. I'm sorry for making you and Ah Wei worry about me."
