Da Xia never knew that she would regret her decision to enter the Phoenix mountains all alone not even two minutes after setting foot inside the dense forest. Coming across a deadly python was the last thing she wanted but here she was, running like a mad person to save her life.

She had been running for quite some time and her legs were ready to give up. She had no idea about where she was heading, a high chance that she was heading deeper into the mountains which meant that she could come across beasts that would be scarier and more powerful than the python following her at the moment.

Her feet started to ache while her lungs were having a hard time doing their job. She could feel that her body no longer had the energy to run further.

She probably surprised not only herself but also the kitty and the python when she suddenly stopped running and turned to face the huge snake beast that was barely a hundred meters away from her.
