4 Choosing Future

"Why are you looking like choosing the first option would be the scariest thing to do?" The kitty asked when it noticed the horrified look on its host's face.

"Well, will the cultivation levels be the same that I created for this world?" Da Xia asked. And when the kitty nodded its head, Da Xia knew that she was indeed doomed. To make her story lengthy and interesting, she had added way too many cultivation levels and ranks.

Not only that but there were other problems too, like she would need specific spiritual pills and herbs to increase her cultivation, and would need to visit certain dangerous places to cultivate in the presence of dense qi. Not only that but according to her plot, reaching Immortality and passing the last step of cultivation was the hardest and most painful thing ever.

Just thinking about going through all these hurdles made Da Xia recoil from the first option. This, she asked the kitty to move to the second option.

The kitty pressed on the 'NEXT' option and another screen appeared with a text box in the very center.

"Well, this one is kinda different. It states that you will need to make Jia Province one of the top five most powerful provinces on the mainland..."

"And...?" Da Xia asked as she had a feeling that there was going to be a catch.

"And you will receive a special technique due to which whenever you will do something related to the task, your cultivation level will increase on its own. When you will finally reach Immortality, you will be given three wishes, you can ask for whatever you want except..."

The kitty trailed off and Da Xia looked at it with her eyebrows arched high, waiting to hear the rest.

"...except you have to use one of your wishes to bring the two Princes back to life. Also, during all this time you will need to keep their dead bodies and souls safe." The kitty finished.

Da Xia pondered on the second choice. It didn't look that hard, all she needed to do was to bring the Jia province out of its sad reality and she would become an Immortal in return.

Yeah, no big deal here! Right?

"Can you explain exactly how this technique is going to work?" Da Xia asked the kitty.

"Let's say, you went to the fields and plowed a small-sized field, you will get 10 prowess points for it. To pass the first cultivation level you need 1000 prowess points. Therefore if you plowed a hundred small size fields, then you will receive 1000 prowess points and you will immediately pass the first cultivation level. On the other hand, if you grew a small field of wheat, you will get 300 prowess points and for growing strawberries, you can get 1000 prowess points."

"Moving on, if you started a cloth shop, at every customer who would visit the shop you will receive ten prowess points, and depending on how much that customer will spend on the clothes, the prowess points will increase. In short, the more difficult work you will do to increase the economy of the Jia Province, the more prowess points you will get, the sooner your cultivation level will increase." The kitty finished the explanation and waited for its master to speak.

Da Xia was completely taken aback by what she had just heard. Only one word left her mouth, "Wow...!"

She replayed everything that the kitty had explained about the two options and suddenly her mind registered a very specific point that she didn't notice at all.

"Wait! The two princes are dead?"

If she was horrified after knowing that she had transmigrated in her own plot then her current expression was beyond horrified.

The kitty looked at its Master like she was some kind of idiot.

"I think it was you who planned their assassination." It wasn't a question but a taunt at its Master.

Da Xia was taken aback by the kitty's words. The words of the red-robed man entered her brain.

"How? How did they know that? How did they know that I was the one who killed them? Because technically it was the Agent who killed them. Then why are they blaming me?" Da Xia asked.

"All thanks to your agent."

At Kitty's words, Da Xia raised her eyebrows in confusion as she asked, "What do you mean?"

"Well, as far as I know, it was your agent who told your husbands that you were the one who ordered the Headquarters of Slayers to kill them." The kitty replied.

"What? Wait, it's not me who gave them that order. It came from some unknown source. Moreover, how the hell did the female lead know that it was me? Nothing is making sense here." Da Xia rubbed her temples as she tried to stop the headache that she could feel building.

"The order to kill the two demon princes was actually given by a mysterious authority, but who was the one writing the plot? Who had the most authority in the entire plot? And whose idea was it to kill the two princes? Since you never mentioned a particular name or origin of that mysterious source, in short, you are the one who was behind that order."

Da Xia was left completely shocked. She had no words to contradict the kitty and its explanation which stated that Da Xia was actually the one who was responsible for the death of the two princes.

"And as for how the female lead of your plot knew about you being the one behind the mysterious order, well, all that I can say is that you just made her too OP for your own good." The kitty said as it started clicking on some random options on the screen.

Da Xia let out a deep sigh. After knowing that the two princes had become actual living people, she felt sad for killing them.

Also, there were so many mysteries related to her transmigration. Most importantly, she noticed something in the two options that were given to her to continue her life - there was someone who wanted to bring the two Princes back to life, but who and why?
